Shout Outs from the Kitchen of Dr. Hanley--As the Co-Sponsor of the Central GSA with Mr. Ito, we want to congratulate and high-five our seniors in the Central GSA Club working diligently to pursue their post-high school passions and careers in 2021. GSA Co-president, E'monni Jackson, was accepted to Pace University in New York, earning a whopping $118,000 4-year scholarship to the Honors College. Whoot Whoot! E'monni. Also, Central GSA Club participant, Angel Flores, was accepted to the Los Angeles College of Music, offered a renewable $18,000 scholarship and access to some of the biggest pop music guest visiting professors such as Jason Mraz and Michael Buble. You both truly have earned these accolades. Congratulations!
Seniors, please remember that all February long, Maricopa Community College District - Mondays , Arizona State University -Tuesdays, University of Arizona- Wednesdays, Northern Arizona University - Thursdays and GCU- Fridays are the College Rep Next Step workshops to help with the transition to college. Completing the FAFSA will help students access financial aid and scholarships to help pay for college.
