This week, we have a such a treat with Harriet Heath joining us on the podcast!
Harriet is a Pilates teacher and enthusiast of all things movement related. She runs a virtual movement studio called Harriet Heath - Mind Body Soul Moves where she guides live Pilates classes alongside an ever growing library of 'On Demand' classes. Lover of life's simple pleasures, including but not limited to, hummus, the ocean, a really good chat and nursing a coffee for at least an hour until it's stone cold. Harriet wants to encourage movement to celebrate and nourish our bodies rather than punish them – using movement as a tool to make you feel incredible in both mind and body, keeping you strong, centred, mobile and empowered. She fell in love with movement at a very early age - dance being her first true love. Harriet wants to focus on how movement can make you feel rather than how it makes you look. She leads classes that connect mind and body and breath. Bringing them together in fluid series of movements to create that feeling of connection to self. A moving meditation if you will - to nourish the whole self. There is no time to hear the voices that you aren’t enough, that you can’t do something or whatever it is the external world is throwing at you. You are just you, at your essence, with none of the fluff on top. After a class I hope to leave you feeling clearer, more grounded and more at home within yourself (as well as thoroughly worked out from top to toe).

We are back! Season 3 woo hoo!
Today I’m so excited to invite Andy Nathan onto the show - a.k.a Uncle Andy
Known as a trauma-informed holistic coach & writer, although for Andy his titles truly do not come close in covering the scope of how he supports people and I truly agree. Just talking to him for one minute will take your breath away and make you say think WOW THIS GUY is so wise.
Andy has lead many career paths on his journey of life so far. Now as a coach he supports individuals to find confidence in themselves and truly leads them on a path to understanding themselves, their relationships and helping them step onto a path of healing and releasing old, stuck, repeating, unhelpful beliefs, values and patterns.
With many of his own life experiences behind him, he has become an expert in truly understanding that we all have a lot of healing to do - whether you have gone through immediate trauma or not. Andy believes you can have a life you want, by creating healthy boundaries that give you balance in life. So without further or do I introduce Andy!

Welcome to the #FindYourFizzPodcast.
In this episode, Fizz speaks to Mira Manek, Founder of @chaibymira and Author of 2 bestselling books.
If there is one thing in life that I could not live without is chai and in particular Chai by Mira's chai. Let me tell you more about this insanely awesome human....
Mira Manek was born and raised in London, where she grew up in a family.
Strongly rooted to the Indian heritage. She grew up speaking Gujarati and learned Sanskrit ( which is the yoga language) at school. This, in conjunction with attending Ram Kathas (nine-day spiritual events) from a young age all over India, inspired Mira's passion for Indian philosophy and spirituality, and Ayurveda in particular.
She was so inspired she became an author - her 1st book, Saffron Soul, is a cookbook inspired by the vegetarian food of the Gujarat region. Mira used to run a very popular cafe at Triyoga Soho, Chai by Mira, which sadly due to the pandemic had to shut down in physical form, but she has now opened up an online chai shop, selling all her chai blends, thank goodness because I love her chai. Not only has she set up shop, she also used lockdown to train as an integrated healthcare practitioner and breath work teacher.
Mira share's why it's important to have happy rituals and how they've truly changed her way of living life.

Hannah is here to remind you that success and abundance are possible for you.

With it being National Heart Month - I wanted to take a moment to raise awareness and shine a light, on the importance of recognising why our heart health is so important, especially those of us born with heart defects.
This week, I have the inspirational Danielle - a Cardiac Clinical Nurse Specialist. This wonderful human basically lives my dream job - because as a little girl all I wanted to be a paediatric cardiac nurse.
Danielle specialises in caring for young people aged 12-21 years old with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD)– and she quotes “they are the most inspiring group of young people to work with”.
She completed her nurse training in Bristol qualifying in 2014 and has worked across adult and paediatric cardiac specialties before moving to London in 2018.

Danielle is passionate about promoting the expanding and advanced nursing roles available. She is a go getter and absolutely loves learning and is currently studying towards her master’s degree in Advanced Cardiac Nursing.

Grace fought to find her strength again and now uses Jim’s story along with her own experience, to coach others through grief & trauma and champions the fact that no matter how difficult your situation seems, there is always a way to come back from it.
Grace is now a trauma and resilience 'experience based' and the founder and host of a brand new podcast called The Comeback Club, a podcast celebrating extraordinary people overcoming extraordinary things.

Welcome to the #FindYourFizzPodcast. In this episode, Fizz speaks to the sensational Lululemon Ambassador Kim Hartwell.
Kim is one of the most empowering, inspiring, happiest and bubbliest humans in my life. Honestly if you ever meet her in person, in a second she will make you beam from ear to ear with her infectious energy. I always say that this lovely soul made me the yoga teacher that I am today and I honestly do mean that.
From the moment I stepped into Kim’s class over 3.5 years ago now, I knew she was the teacher that I wanted to become, the teacher that gave me the Fizz in my practice and made me smile and giggle a lot along the way. Kim wrote me a glowing reference to begin my yoga teacher journey, whilst also mentoring me and being my personal cheerleader, as I became hers.
Kim is not just a yogi, she is also a personal trainer, movement coach and avid rock climber. So truly moving and climbing Is her jam. Kim is authentically herself 100% of the time, she is a lover of life and adventure, hence founding the incredible Rock and Soul Adventure retreats!
We speak about her journey to where she is now, how she finds happiness through movement and also shares it and we had a very passionate conversation about injuries and finding joy through rehab.

Welcome to the #FindYourFizzPodcast. In this episode, Fizz reconnects with an old primary school friend.
Char Brockman is on a mission to ensure that there is support being set in place for millennials out there, to help them with their mental health challenges, as quite often conventional treatment is not always available. Having suffered from her own personal struggles with mental health, she is now the Co-Founder of Mad Millennials, a non-profit mental health organisation based around the Uk and in Barcelona. I’m very humbled to be a lead mentor for the Berkshire team and to showcase the ethos of this charity by providing peer to peer support.
When Char is not trying to support others through their mental health, she has found a way to cope with her own, through singing and songwriting, she tries to strike a balance of setting a self reflective tone of strength and vulnerability through her lyrics, Honestly her voice is sublime.
Char speaks about her journey and struggles with such honestly and rawness. We all know times are tough right now, so please ensure you find support if you need it right now. Its really ok to say, ' Hey, I'm really not ok right now'.

Welcome to the #FindYourFizzPodcast. This episode is dedicated to any medical students/ health professionals out there.
If you know a medical student - you will know how stressful and tough medical school can be, but more so during a global pandemic.
On this week’s show I have one of my good friends Frazer Snowden, a 5th year medical student from Liverpool. When Frazer is not taking care of patients and studying, he’s out climbing mount snowdon (his favourite obviously) and doing his favourite happiness activity? I wonder what it could be.
It's so important as a medical student and a care giver to be kind to yourself as much as you would to your patients. Through daily self care practices, you can find joy in the hardest of times and Frazer explains more in this conversation.
We also talk about an incredible charity we both support called OVER THE WALL CHILDREN'S CHARITY, if you are interested in finding out more - head to OTW.ORG.UK.

Welcome to the #FindYourFizzPodcast. In this episode, Fizz speaks to the incredible Paul Nelson, an Oxfordshire based Professional photographer.
Paul Nelson is a magician. A man who has creativity running through his veins. A self-taught professional photographer based in Oxfordshire.
Paul has ran his own company for nearly four years now, capturing all different types of subject matter, but now specialising in portraiture, fitness and weddings.
Working for previous companies in the automotive industry, he started to develop mental health problems of his own. Being a male, he found it extremely hard to talk to people and just bottled it up. Paul finally decided to seek help for his mental health and changed his career path as he wasn't happy with who he was and what he was doing with his life.
By making his hobby, his profession, he found happiness again and learned how to cope with mental health by doing something that he loved.
Paul now tries to help others who suffer from mental health, and encourages them to speak out, and show that talking about your feelings doesn't make you weak, it shows how strong you really are.
As we head into November: The Mental Health for Men Awareness Month. If you require support please do seek help from a health professional, speak to someone you trust or contact charities such as Mind Uk or Samaritans for support. If you feel like you are in danger or someone you know is in danger, please contact the emergency services on 999/111.
Thank you Paul for sharing your story, so grateful for you.

Welcome to the #FindYourFizzPodcast. This week I have the most incredible sweet soul, Lucy Victoria Jackson on the show.
Lucy is a Yoga Teacher, Crystal Singing Bowl Practitioner, Dog Mumma & Podcast Host based in Berkshire, UK.
Lucy bravely opens up about the battles she faced in her early twenties with a tough relationship, which lead her to finding freedom through the practice of yoga - a life changing journey.
She believes that wellness tools should be accessible to everyone & that each person needs a slightly different toolkit. There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to wellness, but we should each inherently have the right to be able to invest in our own.
Having taught yoga & having been a part of the wellness industry for nearly 6 years now the wellness gap is evident to Lucy, so she is committed to bringing wellness tools to life for everyone through her podcast “Root & Rise with Lucy” & also offers her online classes & her online membership at a sliding scale rate in the hope to open up the yoga practice to more people.

Welcome to the #FindYourFizzPodcast. In this episode, Fizz speaks to the incredible founder of @SoulJournYoga Jordan Ashley.
While embracing New York City’s fast-paced and driven yoga culture, Jordan recognised a need for service-based yoga; a need for experiences which give perspective to the self through selflessness. Feeling extremely blessed to not only be given the opportunity for education, but to have a voice in society, she felt it was imperative to raise both awareness and funds for girls all over the planet who are denied such essential human rights. She launched Souljourn Yoga in 2016, a US 501(c)3 non-profit inspired by seva, the Sanskrit word and yogic principle of selfless service.
Souljourn Yoga creates opportunities to explore, practice, and educate through yoga both on and off of the mat by offering a spectrum of workshops, teacher immersions, and global retreats to continue to promote female empowerment and education in communities where equal opportunities aren’t always readily available.
Jordan has been featured in Forbes, Yoga Journal, Medium, Women’s Health UK, Marie Claire UK, and is a Tedx Speaker whose life mission is to take the practice out of the studio and around the world to support women’s empowerment. Jordan shares her top tips for happiness, as well as her tasty #FindYourFizz happiness challenge. Are you up for it?
