Welcome to the Pivot Into Purpose Podcast. I’m Jennifer Cirillo, a wife, mama of three beautiful boys and mental health clinician turned purpose driven life coach. I am passionate about helping women overcome self doubt, find direction, create endless abundance and Pivot into their true purpose. Here, I’m creating a space for women everywhere to learn about themselves, lean into their intuition and develop the courage to finally step up to their true calling. I’m bringing it all to you and I’m leaving it all on the table. This, is where transformation starts. Let’s go girl, time to Pivot Into Purpose.
Maybe you looked at this title and you're like "WTF is FOMO?" For those who have never heard this acronym before FOMO stands for "fear of missing out". In this episode I talk about how to let your fomo lead you. I have met many women throughout my coaching journey who have struggled with finding their purpose. Good news is, we all have one but sometimes it can be hard to figure out what that is. Judging by the name of this podcast you can imagine how passionate I am about finding purpose. So I dish out one of the EASIEST ways to start your journey to discovering purpose. You guessed it, letting your FOMO lead you. Listen in as I break this down for you. Finding your purpose is about to get a hell of a lot easier for you.
Let’s talk healing! I mean real, raw, vulnerable and intentional AF healing.
Often times I see a lot of new entrepreneurs, practicing affirmations, journaling, using the sticky note method to speak positivity into their lives around the clock and while this is great, it doesn’t mean shit if you don’t heal.
You can’t outwork a dysregulated nervous system no matter how hard you try. So heal the shit and then utilize the tools.
How do we do this? Let’s first discuss what a dysregulated nervous system is and how it can show up. Then I’ll walk you through a few ways that’ll help regulate that nervous system and get you back into homeostasis so you can operate at your highest potential.
If you feel like you’ve been stuck in life, business or if you’ve been acting out of character, feeling stressed and suffering from burnout, then it’s time to heal from the inside out.
Tune into this episode to learn all about this and let me know what stands out to you.
Happy healing!
In this episode I tell you about all the things I say "no" to as an entrepreneur. As an entrepreneur it's extremely important to have firm boundaries and non-negotiables that allow you to stand firmly in your truth. The more you are able to say "no" to the more room you make for the "yes". When I first started my business I had no idea what my boundaries were, I said "yes" to everything and I exhausted myself in the process. I allowed people to share my energy and lower my vibe and it showed in my business. Forming boundaries and developing a list of things I say "no" to was the purest form of self love I could have given myself. This doesn't just apply to business either. This applies to all areas of life. I hope this episode resonates and encourages you to form your own list of "no's" in the most loving and respectful way. You're worth it. Listen in and share it out!
Have you ever wanted to invest in something but find yourself caught up in thinking about the ROI (Return of investment)? Asking yourself all the questions like “if I invest all of this money, when will I see a return? Will I see a return? How much will that return be?”
Well I’m here to tell you that you’re focusing on the wrong thing. What you should be focused on is the COI (cost of inaction).
By standing still, allowing fear to run the show, neglecting that investment for the coach, program or mastermind, who are you letting down? What are you giving up? Those are the questions you should be asking yourself.
Focusing on the cost of inaction will bring you clarity, motivation and purpose. You will find yourself running to make that investment because you are now operating from a place of confidence rather than fear.
Listen in to this weeks episode as I talk all about this and let me know your thoughts.
Knowing when to pivot can be one of your greatest strengths. Unfortunately, most people ignore that urge to pivot because they have a hard time letting go of what "should be". That vision that they once had is shifting and they are being called to pivot but resisting, ultimately leading to burnout and an eventual downfall in life and business. Understand this, your vision will change overtime. It cannot remain the same when you are growing in life and business. That's a good thing. Stop resisting because of fear or uncertainty. Instead embrace, lean in and pivot when necessary. Listen in and let me know if this resonates!

In this episode, I let you in on something super personal...my journal. I felt it was important to share this because for a while I had been neglecting my most important self care/mindset daily habits because I had expectations that didn't fit my currently reality. So instead of embracing my current reality and allowing myself to flow, I just neglected my habits all together. In the end, I suffered. Recently I decided that it was time to lean into my current reality and stop resisting. It was time for me to embrace the beautiful chaos that is my life as a mom of three and still find the space to do the things that are important to me. Now I'm sharing that message with you. Stop resisting and start leaning in. Take a listen and let me know what resonates!
You are wired to win. You are always winning. The life you currently have, you're winning at it. Sound crazy? In this episode I talk about how we are wired to win and why we are always winning. Yes, even at the life you claim you don't want or didn't choose. time to shift your perspective and step into a new empowering belief. Listen in to this short and sweet episode for a little Friday inspiration.
In this episode, I'm going to call you out on your bullshit. Something popped up on my social media feed today that really got me thinking...we are living in a society that is constantly seeking validation as to why they can't accomplish something. We are 5 days into the new year when I recorded this episode and I have already witnessed far too many people complaining and posting things relating to 2023 being another "shitty year". How can we move past this? How can we heal ourselves and our mindsets to develop healthier beliefs and habits to not only free ourselves from misery but propel us into a life we're destined to live. I don't know about you, but 2023 is going to be a massive year for me because I'm consciously choosing to believe that everyday. I am doing the work and being intentional with my energy, I am forming healthy boundaries and constantly reframing my beliefs to match the reality I desire. So...who's with me?
Happy New Year everyone! I haven't been on the podcast since October (besides my new years eve episode that I snuck in the other night) so I wanted to take this episode and just catch up! I've missed being on this mic and so much has happened since we last spoke so let's chat all the things that have happened and all the amazing things that are to come. I'm about to give you all the amazing details and of course, a little inspiring message for you. I am so excited about 2023 and all that is to come, I hope you'll join me on this exciting journey! So listen in and I can't wait to share more with you!

Happy New Years Eve everyone! I was going to wait until the new year to drop some new episodes for you but this one couldn't wait. I missed being on this mic and I had a message that was tugging at my heart and needed to be shared. On New Years eve as people close out the year you will typically see many people sharing their HUGE wins this past year. You'll see the highlight reel of the business wins, the family wins, the new engagements or growing families...you'll see it all and then some. But, I want you to know that if all you did this year was survive, I see you too and I celebrate you too. Listen in because this message is for you
In this episode I talk about the valuable lessons I learned from death. Over the last few weeks my family and I have been experiencing a season of loss. Within weeks of each other my husband and I both lost our grandmothers and our boys lost their great grandmothers. The magnitude of these losses were felt throughout our family but death did not get the last word. The memories shared, the tears cried, the laughter that radiated through the room when sharing our favorite moments with our loved ones will be something I will never forget. The big take away from all of this…why are we ok with not taking a chance to go all in on life? Our life, the life of our dreams. Why do we settle for mediocre or just “Ok” when we can have extraordinary? Life is short and at the end of my days I want to be sure I did the damn thing, life that is. Listen in to hear what else I have to say about this.
In this episode I break down the power of goal setting. Many people love to set goals but often times goals are being created based on current life circumstances or their goals lack compelling reasons. Both of these, result in weak, watered down goals that feel negotiable and often times result in complete abandonment of that goal. So what's the science behind setting goals that stick? Well, I break it down for you in this episode. Listen in and give it a shot!
In this episode we're unpacking resentment. Resentment is a physical block between you and your higher power, your highest self, true abundance and true happiness in your life. Resentment shows up in many different ways and can often times have a profound negative impact in our lives. So how do we resolve this? listen in to this quick episode where I talk about unpacking resentment, what it could look like in your life and how to heal from it.
The question I get asked so often... "Jenn, why do you hate Corporate America so much?" The answer is, I don't. I just know better and when you know better you do better. My mission in this life is to make sure that any woman who is feeling less than or small or lost inside of those corporate walls, I am here for you. I am here to support you and help you break free from that 9-5 job and start living in your true purpose. It's time to stop settling for mediocre and realize how insanely capable you are of having the most extraordinary life. I ditched my 9-5 because it was no longer aligned with who I wanted to be and instead of feeling fulfilled through my work I was feeling drained and burnt out and that was bleeding into every other area of my life. So I took control and reclaimed my power. I don't hate Corporate America, I just know better and I'm sharing it with you.
Nothing means anything until we make it mean something. Sometimes all we need is a shift in our perspective to go from victim mentality to gratitude. This small but super effective practice will instantly raise our vibration allowing us to invite more abundance into our lives. Sometimes we may feel overwhelmed with business and life but the shift is this...at one point, this life you're living was probably one you prayed for. Overwhelm is the rush of answered prayers coming to life. If this message resonates, share it out and leave me a quick review!
In this episode I talk about finding your purpose. As a Purpose Driven Life Coach, a huge portion of my work circles around helping my clients discover their purpose. The Law of Control states that we feel happy to the degree of which we feel we have control over our own lives. In this episode I discuss my own journey from feeling totally out of control to truly integrating this law into my own life. I discuss why people are feeling so burnt out in today's corporate world and how incorporating this law into our own lives can create a massive shift in the way we operate and levels of success we open ourselves up to. Take a listen and as always share it out to your friends, family and your IG audience! Tag me and let me know what your biggest take away was. (@jenn_rillo)
Welcome to episode 33! In this episode I talk about what it means to be absorbed in our thinking vs. being absorbed in our being. Our minds have the tendency to be really good at talking us out of anything and everything...if we allow it. We live in a very busy society that rarely takes time to care for the mind. Meaning slow down, get quiet and just be. As a result, we have learned to spend far more time thinking about why we shouldn't do things rather than just allowing ourselves to take inspired action and create our dream life. Taking time to just be and truly get aligned with your souls true desires and then learning to take inspired action is where you want to live. This is the road map to true freedom and lasting success. Listen in and as always feel free to share this on your IG, tag me (@jenn_rillo) and let me know what you think!
In this episode I discuss what true success looks like and feels like. I believe the definition of success can change drastically over time and what I have come to realize is success is not just measured in materialistic items but it is also a feeling. True success is not having to choose. True success is living your life on your terms and all of the materialistic things are just a by-product of that. Take a list to this episode and then let me know what you think! You can share this episode on your IG and tag me or shoot me a DM @jenn_rillo.
Enjoy this episode!

In this episode I address a question I received in my DMs this week. The question was "did you really hire a life coach to help you leave your corporate job?" The answer is yes. In this episode I answer that question in length and tell you my exact reasons for hiring a coach to help me get to new levels and one of those levels included me leaving my corporate job. Without the experience of working with my coach and successfully leaving the corporate world I would have never developed my group coaching program, Exit Strategy where I help other women develop their own personalized plan to exit the corporate world once and for all. Give it a listen and I hope you join me in my next group coaching course beginning on March 6th! Follow me on IG (jenn_rillo) and head to the link in my bio to claim your spot today!

In this episode I share some harsh realities I was faced with this past week when my plans didn't actually go according to plan. It's in our nature to want to plan and be prepared but what happens when none of those plans actually work out in our favor? How do you handle moments like this? Are you the type to throw in the towel and chalk it up to "well the plan just isn't going to work" or do you remain open to new and better possibilities? I usually always remain open but this week was a little different for me. I am here to share my own experience and how remaining curious has lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders. Remain open and watch the endless possibilities flow to you. Listen in and enjoy!
This episode is all about reasons why you should ditch your 9-5 and reasons why you should do it NOW. We are living in an extremely complicated world right now and our freedoms are being taken away. As a result corporate buildings are a really tough place to be. In my opinion corporate has never really been an easy place to be which is why, when I finally decided to make my split from corporate I knew right away I had to take everything I learned and make a course out of it. Insert the Exit Strategy Group Coaching Program. This program was developed from my own experience and perfected with you in mind. I took over 3 years of trials, errors, countless experiences and formulated them into a group coaching program to enable you to cut that time in half and get on your way to regaining control of your life. In this episode I touch on just one small page my from course, which is reasons why leaving corporate will benefit you. Listen in and don't forget to follow me on IG (@jenn_rillo) for all the updates about Exit Strategy. Don't miss the next course which launches on October 25, 2021! Claim your spot today. See ya there!
In this episode I'd like to discuss the major differences between traditional therapy and coaching. As a former mental health clinician turned life coach and having been through traditional therapy and coaching myself, I have had the privilege of experiencing both and reaping the benefits of both as well. I have felt compelled to talk about this for a while and now is the time. Tune into this episode and listen as I discuss the differences, why I decided to pivot from mental health to coaching and how coaching completely changed the course of my life. I would love to hear your thoughts following this episode. As always feel free to follow me and chat on instagram. You can find me at @jenn_rillo
Enjoy the episode and see ya there!
Hi my Pivot Into Purpose Podcast lovers. I am finally back on the mic discussing where I've been and what I've been up to. I took some time away to look inward and really focus on myself. The noise of everything going on in the world has been overwhelming and consuming for me and it was time for me to take a break from all of it. During this process I have learned some things and I feel like I am coming back even better! In this episode I share that journey with you and how I went from completely consumed by social media to reconnecting with myself, my business, my family and life. As a result, I am better able to serve my clients, I have the words to share here on the podcast and I can finally breathe. Join me in this episode and let's chat about why taking care of yourself in the most important job you will ever have.
In this episode I spill my random thoughts about what's going on in the world right now and how it has been affecting me. I want you to know you're not alone. The world is heavy right now but there is always a bright side. We can always find a way to overcome. We can always be the light for someone else. There is still so much good in the world as well but sometimes it can get drowned out by the noise. Get back to your roots. Do what feels good to you, do what feels good for you and remember that tomorrow is never promised and you deserve to live your best life. Go out there and get em'. I'm always cheering you on.
In this episode I dissect this idea of "making the right decision". Far too many people stay stuck on the hamster wheel because they're attempting to make the right decision but unfortunately we can't see into the future and therefore we never really know what the right decision is. My belief, is that there is no such thing as a wrong decision because even if shit hits the fan, you'll learn a valuable lesson. The only way to true success is through the mess. So embrace the chaos and stop running on the hamster wheel trying to figure out the "right decision".
In the third and final episode of my 3 parter, I discuss the busy trap. The busy trap is one we can all easily fall victim too when we feel less than or unworthy and I know this one has always been my biggest struggle. From the work I have done to overcome this and the signs of lurking trouble, I discuss it all in this episode. The busy trap is nothing but a temporary fix to some unidentified feelings and/or beliefs that need some much needed attention and love. Tune in to this episode to hear all about it!
In this episode I talk about the importance of treating your business like an actual business. A lot of times many new entrepreneurs will start off super strong, doing all of the "surface level" things to get their business up and running but eventually the new business high wears off and suddenly you find yourself struggling to make an income and your frustrated because business isn't producing. What many don't realize is this simple fact, treat your business like a business and it will pay you like a business. Treat your "business" like a hobby and it will pay you like a hobby...which means not at all. Listen in to shed some light on this issue and tell me where you struggle the most!
In this episode I discuss the dreaded self doubt spiral and why so many fall into the trap. Often times we have a hard time letting go of what we thought the journey would look like and that hinders us from being able to experience all the magic the truly lies within the journey of entrepreneurship. How to avoid this and why it's so important to always being doing the work is discussed here. This is just part 1 of 3 so stay tuned for more.
Far too often I am confronted with the reality that women are hiding themselves from the world because they have this dialogue that tells them "what do I have to offer?" "Who will listen?" "There are so many people doing it better than me". We need to cut these stories out. They are not true and they are keeping us hidden from the world. In this episode I want you to know that your voice matters, your message matters, your mission matters and it's time for you to rewrite these stories you're telling yourself and own all the fabulous parts of you.
Far too often we stay hidden or let our dreams die because we don't have the courage to take the leap without knowing how or having all the answers. I'm here to tell you that the "how" is not your responsibility. Your responsibility is to lean in. Listen to your heart, own your desires and run with it. Trust that once you take the first step that all will start to fall into place. Don't allow yourself to live a mediocre life because you needed to know how. This need to have it all figured out keeps you frozen in fear, keeps you hidden from the world. You are much more than your fears. Have faith and take the first step. See you on the other side. xox
In this episode I discuss why business is so much more than just business. Often times, in "traditional" business talk we don't hear people discuss the importance of things like mindset, manifesting and belief. These are just a few of the components often ignored in the big picture. I'll tell you why these are super important and how it'll take you and your business from stuck, burnt out and lifeless to making massive impact and thriving.
If you love this topic I highly suggest listening to James Wedmore and "The Mind Your Business Podcast" He delivers amazing content and his entire podcast is about the use of mindset, spirituality and manifestation over traditional business ideals.
In this episode I talk about the ups and downs of emotions. I address how I have been working with my own coach to heal emotionally and work through the true road blocks that hold me back. In our society today, we struggle with this. We have a temporary band aid for everything and we fail to acknowledge what our minds, bodies and souls really need. That need is attention, processing, love and healing. Check out this episode to learn more, you don't want to miss this one.
In this episode I talk all about my four week group coaching program, Exit Strategy. I talk about how this course was developed from my very own experience of feeling burnt out in the corporate world, aching for more and finally figuring out how to break free from the hamster wheel. I'll tell you why this course is right for you and why you don't want to miss this next round, starting July 5th!
Follow me on instagram for more details. @jenn_rillo
I'm back! In this episode I talk about a lot of the things I have been struggling with during my time away. I talk about my breakthrough that I had with my own coach during one of our sessions. The need for speed refers to this idea that if we're not constantly traveling at 100mph then we aren't making any progress. That's not accurate and far too often we fall victim to that mentality which leads us to give up on our dreams. I'm sharing my own breakthrough in hopes that it will resonate with you too!
In this episode I have an amazing guest, Tina Peterson the owner of Rise Health Studio in Bayville NJ. Tina introduces us to her personal journey from mental health clinician to owning a fitness studio. We discuss what it feels like to be living in our true purpose, facing the challenges and triumphs of being business owners and connecting with our intuition to make the massive impact we've been called too. A jam packed episode full of inspiration and encouragement and I hope after listening you take the leap and follow your passion.
In this episode I talk about what it ACTUALLY means when people say "it's not possible". What they really mean is "I'm just not willing to do what it takes". Let's understand that we are capable of anything we truly want to accomplish. Building a business does not require you to spend hours and hours a day sitting in front of a computer writing out content or business plans. What building a business actually requires is consistency, integrity and discipline. Be willing to do the work and success will be yours.
In this episode I talk about what it means to "play the tape out". When you decide to chase your dreams, what does life look like on the other side? If you choose to ignore your call and continue to live in a fixed mindset, unhappy, unfulfilled and lost...what does your life look like on that side? In everything you do, play the tape out. This method has helped me make many decisions and I know it can help you too. Take a listen and play your own tape.
In this episode I talk about why investing in yourself is the best investment you will ever make. Investing doesn't always feel easy and as a result most people don't ever take the leap because there is no guarantee that you'll get a return on your investment. However, investing in yourself is you finally choosing you. Saying that you are worth it, worth your time, energy, money and effort. When you choose you and decide you are worth it, you will never lose.
In this episode I have an amazing guest, my husband Marc Cirillo. I invited him on to talk all things investing. When I initially decided to take the leap and leave my job, a huge part of that included investing in a coach to help me get my business off the ground and running. I had no idea what I was doing and I was well aware I was going to need some help to get to where I wanted to be. Talking about investing a large sum of money while simultaneously talking about resigning from your job is not an easy conversation to have but Marc was so supportive from the very beginning. I wanted him to come on and share his story for the husbands out there that may be having the same conversation with their wives. Having the support of your significant other is everything. Listen to Marc's story and share it out for those that need it. If you love Marc's story and want to shoot him some love, follow him @marc_rillo.
In this episode I talk about what the evolution of owning your true desires looks like. I was scrolling through social media and by taking a look back at my own journey it was truly amazing to see how I went from burnt out, struggling, ignoring my true desires, to thriving life coach with purpose. You can too, listen to this episode and start owning your true desires also. Stop being influenced by outside sources that are robbing you of a truly fulfilling life. You got this babe.
Living in victim mentality is the belief that things are always happening to you instead of the belief that things are happening for you. Sis, you don't have bad luck, you're just living in victim mentality. In this episode I break down what it looks like to be living in victim mentality and how to get out of it.
In episode 2 I discuss what it's like to live life from a place of alignment. Living out of alignment can feel exhausting and heavy. We struggle through our day to day life because our life just doesn't feel like ours. When we learn to let go of the things that no longer serve us we become powerful.
