The “queen” on a chessboard can move in every direction, and that’s the point: so many women spend their lives thinking through A to Z while still holding everyone else together. We share a raw declaration of womanhood that’s equal parts strength and vulnerability, from claiming identity out loud to admitting how heavy the daily load can be when you’re constantly needed.
Motherhood sits at the center of the story, not as a highlight reel but as real life: working multiple jobs, then coming home to clock in again. We talk about the second shift and the emotional labor that follows, being the counselor, the teacher, the mediator, the friend, and sometimes the “enemy,” while still trying to be the healer who offers comfort and dries every tear. If you’ve ever felt like it never stops, you’ll hear your reality reflected back with respect.
Faith and resilience guide the arc, especially when we speak on working in a male-dominated industry and the sting of feeling unseen. The message is clear and grounded in Christian encouragement: God’s will outweighs skill, purpose can’t be taken, and grace is not weakness. We close by rejecting society’s image-based standards and choosing a deeper identity, the kind of self-worth that thrives because it’s rooted in God rather than worldly validation. If this resonates, follow the show, share this with a woman who needs it, and leave a review so more listeners can find this message.

A child can survive almost anything with one steady, loving adult, but what happens when grief gets punished instead of comforted? I’m Robin Black, and I sit down with registered nurse and author Jacqueline Boland to talk about the two worlds she grew up in: the safety of her great-grandmother’s love, and the chaos of addiction, loss, and a family dynamic that taught her to feel guilty for being sad.
Jacqueline shares the story of losing her mother at seven and her father soon after, then spending years trying to earn warmth from a relative who responded to her grief with anger and emotional abuse. We get honest about what that does to a kid’s self-concept, why you can still love someone who hurts you, and how a single conversation can flip your perspective into shame and self-blame. When Jacqueline finally wrote a letter asking to be seen, the silence that followed pushed her into a mental health crisis and made therapy non-negotiable.
From there, we talk about what real healing looks like: naming emotional invalidation, breaking rumination loops, and learning self-care when caretaking has been your whole identity. Jacqueline explains how therapeutic writing became A Broken Twig Can Sprout, why she created Resiliency Publishing House, and how her nonprofit Help Me Sprout is building tools for kids with adverse childhood experiences, including a young writer's workshop and a vision for a safe community space she calls the Haven. She also opens up about requesting FOIL open records to finally process her mother’s death and the meaning behind her upcoming book, A Piece Of Mama’s Heart.
If you’ve ever carried someone else’s pain, felt blamed for your feelings, or needed the words “it’s not your fault,” this conversation is for you. Subscribe, share this with someone who needs it, and leave a review so more listeners can find stories that help them heal.

Wanting something deeply can mess with your sense of worth when it doesn’t show up on your schedule. We dig into how we set imaginary deadlines on love, career, money, and life goals, then punish ourselves when we don’t “hit the mark.” I share why that mindset creates false realities, and how faith reframes delay as preparation instead of rejection.
We also get real about detours, trials, and tribulations. Sometimes the painful parts like embarrassment, hard lessons, toxic relationships, or a miserable boss are the very training that builds your self-respect and emotional strength. Using a couple vivid stories, including a strict classroom memory and a Karate Kid-style repetition lesson, we talk about how growth becomes second nature when you practice it long enough. That’s where spiritual growth and personal development meet: you don’t just hope for change, you build it.
From there, we tackle the validation trap. When your cup feels empty, searching for approval can spiral into anxiety, depression, and numb coping habits. We talk about prayer as “daily bread,” gratitude as a mindset reset, and taking inventory of what you already have so you can see real progress over time. If you’re working on self-worth, healing, and a stronger faith walk, this one is for you.
Subscribe for more conversations on healing and spiritual mindset, share this with someone who feels behind, and leave a review with the biggest deadline you’re ready to release.

Happiness is being sold like a screensaver life: turquoise water, perfect couples, and a checkout button that promises you will finally feel whole. We slow that story down and ask a harder question: what if the chase is the problem, and what if joy was never meant to be purchased in the first place?
We talk about how social media advertising and comparison quietly build a mindset of lack, where you assume you are failing if you cannot afford the trip, the lifestyle, or the relationship you see online. From there, we pivot into faith and the unseen reality that still holds weight: God as our beginning and our end, and the reminder from Matthew 6:26 that provision is not random. We also name the mental cost of living in constant uncertainty and why confusion is not where God operates.
Then we connect today’s headlines to everyday choices: food recalls, seedless products, and why so many people feel pushed to take their health back into their own hands. Gardening becomes a real-world example of returning to what is rooted and true, and we reflect on how COVID forced many of us to look inward and rebuild from the inside. If you are tired of tying your happiness to outcomes you cannot control, this conversation points you back to what is constant, steady, and already within you.
If this helped you breathe a little deeper, subscribe, share the episode with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find it. What is one thing you can stop chasing today so you can start living with peace?

The moment you decide you want to do better, why does the world feel like it gets meaner, louder, and harder to survive? We sit with that uncomfortable reality and bring it back to Scripture, because trials and tribulations are not random when you’re walking with Christ. I read from 2 Corinthians and Ephesians and talk through the pain, sacrifice, and suffering so many of us carry quietly, plus the question we’re almost afraid to say out loud: “Dear God, why me?”
We reflect on what it means to share in Christ’s suffering and still expect His glory, righteousness, and victory. I unpack 2 Corinthians 5:7, “we walk by faith, not by sight,” and why faith is more than optimism. It’s trust, loyalty, and movement when you don’t get the full plan, just the next step. If you’ve been stuck in autopilot, mistaking familiar discomfort for “normal,” this will challenge you to keep moving with God as your lamp.
We also talk spiritual warfare in plain terms through Ephesians 6:12, and how modern life can train us to live by what we see. Politics, celebrity influence, the music we absorb, AI, and social media can build convincing false realities that steal attention and dull discernment. I share why it matters to slow down, listen for truth, and test what resonates in your soul, not just what spikes your emotions.
If you’re carrying something too heavy, we end with a simple practice: lay the burden at God’s feet, keep your heart posture honest, and trust His timing as He shapes your wisdom for the purpose you’re praying for. Subscribe, share this with someone in a storm, and leave a review if it helps. What’s the hardest part of walking by faith right now?

If you’ve ever looked around at your own life and thought, “I have everything I’m supposed to want… so why do I still feel empty?” this conversation will hit home. I’m Robin Black, and I’m joined by coach and clinical therapist Tammy Nicole for a real talk about self-discovery, emotional wellness, and what it takes to stop living on autopilot. Tammy shares how her own divorce became a turning point, not just an ending, and why so many women lose themselves while chasing the version of success that society rewards.
We dig into the practical tools that create change, starting with journaling for self-awareness and clarity. Tammy explains why “once you see what you write down, you can’t unsee it,” and how that one habit can expose people pleasing, emotional triggers, and the stories we make up when we’re not grounded in who we are. We also unpack the difference between what you do and who you are, why “I match energy” can be a trap, and how to protect your peace by learning to observe without absorbing.
We also talk boundaries and burnout, including Tammy’s straight-to-the-point reminder that “no is a sentence,” and her take on capacity as a limit, not “until it’s done.” Plus, we get into parenting teens and younger women who are trying to figure themselves out earlier, with guidance on resisting peer pressure and social media comparison by asking better questions and practicing real independence.
If you’re ready to build a self-love blueprint and start becoming the emotionally available woman you want to be, press play, share this with a friend who needs it, and subscribe so you don’t miss what’s next. After you listen, will you leave a review and tell us the biggest truth you’re taking with you?

When the people who hurt you rewrite the story, telling the truth can feel like stepping onto glass barefoot. We sit down with Amazon best-selling author and motivational speaker Darlene Lakowski, who shares how childhood sibling sexual trauma followed her for decades, how PTSD showed up in unexpected ways, and why the “box” we hide pain in always leaks eventually.
Darlene opens up about the moment she finally spoke up inside her family, hoping for a simple apology and validation, and how that choice escalated into a defamation lawsuit that lasted more than two years. We talk about the pressure of being dared to take the stand, the insult of a one-dollar settlement offer, and the emotional reality of reliving trauma in a legal fight. Then we unpack what it meant to hear a unanimous jury confirm she was telling the truth, and why even a courtroom win doesn’t automatically create peace.
From there, we move into practical healing from trauma: why healing isn’t linear, how control can become a survival strategy that spills into marriage, parenting, and friendships, and what helped her begin letting go. Darlene also explains SSTA (sibling sexual trauma and abuse), why it’s more common than most people realize, and what survivors need most from the people they trust: “We hear you and we believe you.” She shares resources, her approach to therapy and long-term recovery, and the mission behind her book, Shattering Silence: A Story of Survival, Justice, and the Power of Telling the Truth.

Heaven or hell isn’t just a future question. It can feel like something we brush against in real life through addiction, disease, and the kind of evil that hurts innocent people at the hands of those who should protect them. We say the quiet part out loud: the world can feel so dark it’s as though we’re being dragged downward, and that darkness wants us to forget who gave us salvation.
From there, we turn toward spiritual warfare and what it looks like to respond with faith instead of surrender. We talk about praying over our children because they seem to be the enemy’s main focus, and why protecting the next generation starts with what we teach, what we model, and what we refuse to normalize. We also touch the tension around symbols and meaning, including a call to remember the true meaning of the rainbow rather than conforming to what we see as a distortion meant to mock what’s holy.
We also connect today’s pressure points to purpose: the cost of living keeps rising while income stays stagnant, and that stress creates fertile ground for distraction. We bring up AI, not as a tech debate, but as a snapshot of how fast the world changes while people feel less grounded. That’s why we challenge ourselves to become positive mentors and to aim for something deeper than trend chasing. We close with “biblical intelligence,” identity, and John 14:6 as the centerline: Jesus as the way, the truth, and the life. If this hits home, subscribe, share this with someone who needs it, and leave a review so more people can find the show.

From Genesis to Revelation: A Portrait of Jesus
“He is the Alpha and the Omega.” That single line can steady a shaky week, and we lean into it with a rapid-fire, heart-level reflection on who Jesus Christ is when life feels loud. We trace the story from Genesis to Revelation and name the big truths clearly: Creator, Savior from sin, Lord and Father, the One who holds the beginning and the end.
Then we bring it down to the places we actually live. When worry steals our strength, faith becomes the anchor. When pain leaves a mark, mercy starts to make sense in a deeper way. We talk about Jesus as a faith builder who points us forward instead of replaying our past mistakes, and we name what so many people need to hear again: He forgives, He provides, and He comforts us through storms.
We also linger on a striking image of the cross facing north, south, east, and west, a reminder of the bold claim at the center of Christianity and the invitation extended to every direction of the human heart. We close with a personal declaration you can borrow for your own prayer life: “He is my today, my tomorrow, my always… my everything,” and the quiet result that follows: stability.

GLP-1 weight loss shots are everywhere right now, but the part most people aren’t talking about is what happens to your muscle, your metabolism, and your long-term health once the “easy loss” phase ends. We sit down with Dr. Liz, a chiropractor and metabolic health and weight loss specialist, to unpack why quick fixes often backfire and why so many people feel stuck even when they’re doing “all the right things.”
We get specific about real-life scenarios, including weight regain, bloating, and nutrient gaps after bariatric surgery like gastric sleeve and lap band. Dr. Liz explains how the body adapts to eating less, why nutritional deficiency can drive the body to store more, and how a sustainable plan has to go beyond a permanent low-calorie approach. She also shares why her work is highly individualized, especially for people with physical restrictions, fear around the scale, menopause changes, or a long history of dieting.
Then we tackle GLP-1 agonists head-on: the muscle loss numbers, how muscle supports healthy blood sugar and aging, why losing muscle can increase future type 2 diabetes risk, and what concerns she’s watching in the research and real-world reports. We also connect the dots between the nervous system, chiropractic care, digestion, and healing, and we end with a practical strategy you can use today: read ingredient labels, choose real food, and change one habit at a time.
If you care about metabolic health, sustainable weight loss, gut health, and keeping the weight off without wrecking your body, this conversation is for you. Subscribe, share with a friend who’s considering GLP-1s, and leave a review with your biggest takeaway.

Your past can feel like a weight you’ll carry forever, until the day it becomes a clue. We sit down with writer, speaker, and podcast host Meghann Dawson to talk about her book series Becoming Is Messy and the real life healing journey underneath it: chronic trauma, living in a body shaped by pain, and the quiet ways perfectionism and “being chosen” can masquerade as love. Meghann shares how survival strategies that once kept her safe later kept her small and how she began rewriting the pattern.
We walk through the moment that changed everything: holding her newborn daughter and hearing an inner voice that cut through years of inner critic noise. From there, Meghann gets practical, laying out the LEVEL UP framework she’s built from experience and therapy work: learning to trust yourself, examining childhood with compassion, valuing the lessons inside messy memories, exploring spirituality in language that fits, and building a toolbox that supports nervous system regulation over time. If you’ve ever asked why healing isn’t linear, why you keep circling back, or how to stop repeating family trauma, you’ll find clear, relatable answers here.
We also dig into what happens after you start to heal: quitting compartmentalizing, choosing rooms that can hold the real you, parenting teens with more grace, and learning “wholeness first” so you can show up with a full cup. Meghann previews the bigger arc of her series, including Choosing Is Courageous and Being Is Enough, and why receiving and weaving community might be the next stage for many of us. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs it, and leave a review with the one line you want to remember from Meghann’s story.

You can feel it when a message refuses to negotiate with comfort. We dig into a hard, clarifying theme: God’s judgment, His justice, and His mercy all belong in the same sentence, and sin is never a small issue that time simply erases. If you’ve ever wondered how a loving God can also judge, we walk straight into that tension and ask what it means for everyday faith, repentance, and salvation.
From there, we widen the idea of “the flesh” beyond the usual categories. We talk about emotions, wants, and the simple pleasures that can quietly become a rival devotion, then confront the blunt claim that we cannot love God and love the world at the same time. Using the warning language around Sodom and Gomorrah, we look at how pride and ego shape behavior, and why spiritual drift often starts with what we excuse, not what we fear.
We also lean into biblical prophecy and end times urgency, including vivid imagery of fire, destruction, and renewal, plus the sense that the world is moving toward a final reckoning. Scripture anchors the hope: Jeremiah 33:3 invites us to call on God for wisdom beyond human understanding, and Colossians 1:13–14 points to deliverance from the domain of darkness into the kingdom of Christ through redemption and forgiveness.
If this challenges you, don’t brush it off, sit with it. Subscribe, share this with someone who needs a wake-up call, and leave a review with one question you’re still wrestling with.

Some pain feels so wrong that your mind keeps searching for a reason, a lever you could pull, a sentence that could make it make sense. We go straight into that raw space where innocence is stolen, families are shattered, and the people who were supposed to protect instead caused harm. This is a faith-centered reflection on grief, child loss, and the spiritual nausea that comes from seeing real evil up close.
We turn to Scripture not as a quick fix, but as a place to breathe. Ephesians 3:19 reminds us that God’s love can surpass knowledge, and Proverbs 3:5 challenges us to trust when understanding collapses. We also wrestle with the uncomfortable call to pray for enemies and what it means to ask God to deal with hearts that seem consumed by darkness. If you’re looking for Christian grief support, comfort after tragedy, or Bible verses for loss, these words are meant to meet you where you are.
From there, we talk about what remains: memories that death cannot touch, the strength God gives the suffering, and the slow work of learning to grow with pain instead of being defined by it. We close with a prayer drawn from Psalm 147:3 for healing, peace, and the courage to let go of what we cannot control. If this resonates, subscribe, share it with someone who’s grieving, and leave a review so more people can find support when they need it most.

Some nights don’t feel dramatic, they feel endless: the same doubts, the same tears, the same quiet fear that you’ve gone too far to be forgiven. We start there, with a simple but fierce prayer that names the pain out loud and asks for help without pretending we have it together. If you’ve been carrying shame, uncertainty, or spiritual exhaustion, this conversation meets you with honesty and a way forward.
We talk about choices and consequences with zero fluff, including how “easy pleasures” can slowly build a fragile mind. When discipline wears thin, distractions get loud, and vulnerability can be twisted into confusion and worthlessness. We also frame the battle in spiritual warfare terms, not to sensationalize it, but to make one point clear: isolation is dangerous, and trying to live on your own strength eventually breaks you.
Then we pivot to identity and recovery. We refuse to identify with the darkest labels, we remember we are chosen, and we treat wounds as part of the story God can shape into purpose. The closing insight is the anchor: repentance stays powerful, and even the guilt that lingers can become a compass pointing back toward goodness, forgiveness, and direction.

Lack rarely announces itself as a big crisis. Most of the time it whispers, “You don’t have enough,” and then it keeps talking until it rewrites your whole day. We walk through how a scarcity mindset can start with financial stress and quickly snowball into a chain reaction: harsh self talk, old relationship pain, shame, and that heavy feeling of moving through life on autopilot with no motivation. If you’ve been stuck in anxiety or low grade depression, you’ll recognize how fast the mind can turn missing money into missing hope.
We also bring the conversation back to faith, Christian healing, and spiritual growth through two anchor passages. Mark 9:24 gives language for the real inner conflict many of us carry: “I believe; help my unbelief.” We talk about why that kind of honest prayer matters when you’re struggling with doubt, and how God can use believers to support people who feel their faith running thin. If you’ve ever felt guilty for having fear, this is a gentler, truer way to approach it.
From there, we connect Mark 4:40 and the story of Peter on the water to everyday life: storms hit, fear rises, and the moment we start doubting is often the moment we start sinking. We share a practical reset for financial anxiety and scarcity thinking: returning to God as provider, strength, and counselor, then laying burdens down instead of carrying them alone. If this helped you, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s overwhelmed, and leave a quick review so more people can find it. What’s one area where lack has been getting loud lately?

Some mornings you wake up smiling, and other mornings you feel like you’re barely keeping your head above water. Today I’ll be sharing a short, faith-centered message for anyone carrying heavy fear, worry, sorrow, or the quiet thought of “I can’t do this anymore.” I lean into Scripture like John 16:33 and Matthew 5:45 to name a hard truth: trouble touches everyone, and expecting a pain-free life can set us up for deep discouragement when reality hits.
We get honest about what weighs us down, from the weight of sin to broken relationships, illness, and the stress that makes you want to give up. I talk about the false promise of the “easy way out,” and why it often makes things harder in the long run. Then we pivot to the hope that holds: God strengthens us in ways we didn’t even know we had, especially when we don’t have the answers and our hearts feel worn thin.
If you’ve been feeling unwanted, unseen, or low in self-worth, this is a reminder that you’re not forgotten. I reflect on Galatians 6:9 and the call to keep doing good without growing weary, plus the grounded idea that faith and action belong together. The goal is healing that lasts: spiritual resilience, steadier thoughts, and the courage to step out of a mental prison of fear.
If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with someone who’s struggling, and leave a quick review so more people can find this message. What’s one burden you’re ready to bring to God today?

Places we enjoyed:
Chicago is beautiful, busy, and full of surprises and sometimes the biggest surprise is the help you didn’t even know you needed. We’re coming off an amazing weekend trip, and I’m sharing the moments that made it unforgettable, from family time and a late Mother’s Day gift to the pure “wow” factor of being at Navy Pier with endless things to do. If you love uplifting stories that mix real life with spiritual reflection, you’ll feel right at home here.
We also get into one of my favorite Chicago travel experiences: the Sea Dog architectural tour. It’s part history lesson, part comedy show, and then suddenly it’s a speedboat ride that will wake you all the way up. I talk about what made the tour so fun, why it’s worth your time whether you do the full ride or the shorter option, and the honest truth about the weather. If you’re searching for Chicago travel tips, Navy Pier recommendations, or the best architecture boat tour ideas, this will help you plan smarter.
But the heart of the conversation is bigger than travel. I share how we ran into Nicole, a veteran and nurse, who helped us figure out exactly which train to take and what to do next. It felt like a clear example of how God places people in your path at the right time, and it pushed me to reflect on gratitude, faith, and counting blessings even when they seem small.
If this story encourages you, subscribe so you don’t miss what’s next, share it with someone who could use a lift today, and leave a review to help more listeners find the show. What’s one blessing you’re choosing to count right now?

Artificial Intelligence Vs. Biblical Intelligence: You ever scroll past a clip and freeze because you can’t tell if it’s real? That moment of uncertainty is bigger than tech. It touches trust, fear, and how easily our minds can be shaped when reality gets blurry. We sit with the tension between artificial intelligence and what we call biblical intelligence, a way of thinking rooted in God’s truth, not in whatever can be generated, edited, or optimized for attention.
We talk about how AI can be helpful, but also how deception can multiply when deepfakes and synthetic content spread faster than discernment. When you can’t tell what’s true, manipulation gets easier and anxiety grows. From a Christian perspective on AI, the solution isn’t denial or obsession, it’s returning to spiritual practices that restore clarity: stillness, prayer, and daily time with Scripture. We also challenge the idea of “success” as something you can measure with a house, a relationship status, or a perfect image online, and we name how those markers can become distractions.
A major theme is trust when God calls you into quiet or separation. We reflect on Exodus 14 and the push to go forward even when you don’t understand why certain doors close or certain relationships shift. If you feel like you’re being held underwater by fear, we offer a grounded next step: open your Bible, ask God to guide you, and listen long enough to hear what you’ve been drowning out.
If this helped you think clearly, subscribe, share it with a friend who feels overwhelmed by AI and social media, and leave a review so more people can find the show. What part of your life needs more discernment right now?

Tuesday can feel like the longest runway of the week, especially when you’re staring down a countdown to vacation. We kick off with a simple morning check-in, then land on a mindset idea that changes everything: we get to tell the day what kind of day it’s going to be, instead of letting the day tell us.
We talk about that restless “this week is taking forever” feeling and why it shows up when something good is ahead. The point isn’t to ignore the anxiety or force fake positivity. It’s to slow down, stop rushing your life, and come back to what you can actually control right now: your attitude, your pace, and the choices you make in the next hour. If you’re looking for morning motivation, a quick mental reset, or a practical way to build patience, this short episode is designed to meet you where you are.
We also share a small but powerful daily habit that supports better mental health: take a moment to smile and be thankful for living. Gratitude doesn’t erase stress, but it can soften it, give you perspective, and help you move through the day with steadiness. By the end, you’ll have a clear takeaway you can repeat anytime you feel rushed, behind, or worn down.
If this helped you, subscribe so you don’t miss the next one, share it with someone who needs a reset today, and leave a quick rating or review. What kind of day are you choosing?

When life pushes you into an ending you didn’t want, it can feel easier to stay put than to step into the unknown. I’m Robin Black, and I’m back with an honest reflection on new beginnings, the fear that comes with change, and why our minds often treat uncertainty like a threat. If you’ve been clinging to what’s familiar even though it hurts, this conversation is for you.
I unpack how we can “see” some futures clearly but struggle to imagine the ones God is building behind the scenes. That gap creates anxiety, overthinking, and a kind of pre-emptive quitting where we deny ourselves growth before we even try. We also talk about spiritual warfare in everyday language: the lies that twist your reality, pull you into self-doubt, and lead to self-sabotage. I share why I believe discernment matters, especially when choosing relationships, jobs, and the people you trust with your heart.
One of my favorite images here is the train that can’t steer itself. A train reaches its destination by staying on the tracks, and I see God’s guidance the same way when the path curves. We also get real about isolation, busyness, and why quiet can feel scary, yet become the place where healing begins. I close with a reminder about daily bread, repeated prayer, and bringing your struggles to God without shame, ending with the Lord’s Prayer.

Your worst season might be the one that builds you.
I'm speaking about failure, fear, and the kind of faith that holds up when life goes off the rails. So many of us work overtime trying to avoid mistakes, like one wrong choice will ruin everything. But the truth I keep coming back to is this: God already knows the turns we’ll take, and He doesn’t abandon us in the middle of them. Even with free will, He is still the beginning and the end, and nothing about your story surprises Him.
We also get honest about how negativity works like bait. The constant noise of scandals, outrage, and distraction can “breadcrumb” us into chasing darkness until we forget where our peace comes from. I share a personal testimony about selling my house, moving into an apartment, and then losing everything in a fire. That kind of loss can trap you in regret, but I explain why dwelling on the mistake keeps you stagnant and how God can still provide, rebuild, and restore after the hardest hits.
Finally, we talk about mistakes, redemption, and prayer. The world feels heavier, prophecy feels louder, and none of us know our last day, so I’m encouraging you not to wait to turn back to God. If you don’t know how to pray, don’t overthink it. Start with what you have. Start with “Dear Heavenly Father.” No shame, no performance, just honesty.
If this brought you comfort or conviction, subscribe, share it with someone who needs hope, and leave a review so more people can find this faith-based healing message. What part of your story are you ready to place back in God’s hands?

Red flags are easy to spot. What’s harder is admitting why we stay anyway, and what our nervous system is getting from the chaos. Robin Black sits down with Nima, an attachment healing specialist and trauma bond guide, to unpack the real engine behind stuck relationships: the unconscious payoff, the chase for “potential,” and the patterns we repeat when love feels familiar but unsafe.
We dig into elegant boundaries and why “never again” rules can quietly become a wall that attracts the exact dynamic you fear. Nima explains how somatic healing and nervous system regulation change everything, because boundaries are not about controlling someone else, they’re about the action we take when our needs aren’t met. We also talk identity work, attachment styles, and the moment you stop collecting techniques and start defining what “working” actually means: discernment, self-trust, emotional regulation, and the ability to walk away sooner.
The conversation goes deep on trauma bonds, love bombing, intermittent reinforcement, and the victim story that keeps people locked in blame. Nima shares personal lessons on rupture and repair, healing shame, and building a secure relationship that doesn’t require losing yourself. If you’ve ever said “Why do I keep attracting this?” you’ll leave with language, tools, and a clearer path forward.

A split-second of ordinary life can become the moment you measure everything else against. Melissa Hall joins us to share the day she lost her four-year-old son, Drew, in an irrigation canal near their rural home and what came after: the panic, the seven-hour search, and the crushing guilt of believing one exhausted mistake defined her worth as a mother. We don’t soften the hard parts, including how grief can hijack your body, your breathing, and your ability to imagine a future.
What changes the trajectory isn’t a miracle cure, it’s connection. Melissa opens up about a letter from another bereaved mother that met her with honesty instead of platitudes, and how that simple act of being seen helped her step back from the edge. We talk about complicated grief, survivor’s guilt, suicidal thoughts after loss, and the slow work of choosing life one day at a time. Her perspective is both tender and practical: grief is not the absence of love, it can be the presence of love demanding a place to go.
We also dig into how Melissa turned pain into purpose through water safety education and child drowning prevention, especially for families living near open canals and waterways. She shares what she’s learned through journaling, coaching, and writing Dear Drew: Creating a Life Bigger Than Grief, plus why community support matters when people you expected to show up don’t. If you’re searching for grief support, bereavement resources, or a way to honor someone while still moving forward, this conversation offers language, tools, and hope without pretending healing is tidy.

The sound of a prison gate closing changes a person instantly and Dr. Kim Nugent has never forgotten it. She joins us to share what she’s learned after years of working inside facilities as a prison mentorship facilitator and author of From Prison to Possibilities Paving Your Path. We talk about why hope isn’t a “nice to have” behind bars, it’s a safety issue, a healing issue, and a culture issue.
We walk through her structured mentorship program that runs about six to nine months and uses an A to Z curriculum to build real-life skills like attitude, behavior, communication, and decision making. Unlike mentorship that falls apart without a plan, this model includes weekly preparation, guided questions, small group discussion, a formal graduation, and a pipeline where mentees become mentors and mentors grow into advanced coaching roles. Dr. Nugent also explains why she opened access to people across security levels, including maximum security and those serving life sentences, and how shared lived experience helps the mentoring “stick.”
We also get into the deeper transformation: spiritual grounding, purpose, and repairing family relationships while someone is still incarcerated. Dr. Nugent shares practical tools like conversation questions for partners and children, plus a powerful accountability exercise that starts with asking five people for honest feedback about your attitude. If you care about prison reform, rehabilitation, second chance programs, and reducing violence through real human development, you’ll take a lot from this conversation.

Some prayers don’t sound like a sermon. They sound like the truth you say when you’re finally tired of your own excuses. We open with a raw confession about the gap between “I’ll do better” and actually doing better, and we bring that tension straight to God without dressing it up.
From there, we name what so many people carry quietly: childhood wounds that still ache, and the habits we use to cover them with temporary comfort. We talk about what real healing and forgiveness can look like when the past still feels unfair. We also share how poetry and spoken prayer can become a spiritual practice, a way to feel God close and to find words that might touch someone else who needs hope.
The reflection turns toward love that doesn’t quit, even after hurt. We wrestle with what it means to have a heart that keeps caring, and how faith helps us navigate that tenderness with understanding instead of shame. We also sit with Exodus 20:12, honoring mother and father, while admitting how complicated that can be when family relationships carry pain. The thread running through it all is discipleship: picking up the cross, choosing to keep following Jesus, and giving God the glory for mercy, grace, and steady restoration.
If this prayer resonates, listen through, share it with someone who needs comfort, and subscribe for more. After you hear it, what’s one step you can take today to move from intention to follow-through?

Hormones get blamed for everything, but the truth is more interesting and a lot more useful. I’m Robin Black, and I’m joined by my cousin Nikki Rowan, an OB-GYN with nearly two decades of experience, to talk straight about gynecology, pregnancy, perimenopause, menopause symptoms, and what actually helps when your body feels “off” but your lab work looks “normal.”
We dig into why hormone testing can be misleading, how estrogen and other hormones naturally swing throughout the day and month, and why puberty and perimenopause can feel like emotional whiplash. Nikki also explains how weight changes can affect ovulation and menstrual cycles, why endometrial ablation is a bleeding treatment that may not last forever when done young, and how surprise pregnancies can happen right when you think you’re finally “getting healthy.”
Then we get practical about common issues people suffer with in silence, especially stress urinary incontinence. Nikki breaks down pelvic floor physical therapy, what an evaluation looks like, how biofeedback works, and why doing the at-home exercises can be a game changer within weeks. We also talk birth and anesthesia, including hypnobirthing, epidural vs spinal anesthesia, when you can’t safely get one, and a clear explanation of placenta previa and hemorrhage risk. We end with an honest take on prenatal vitamins, pregnancy weight gain, breastfeeding benefits, and why formula is not a moral failing.
If this helped you feel more informed and less alone, subscribe, share the episode with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find it. What topic should we go deeper on next: perimenopause symptoms, pelvic floor therapy, or birth options?

Anger feels powerful until it starts costing you your peace. I’m digging into Proverbs 16:32, a sharp, practical verse that redefines strength: patience and self-control can be greater than winning the loudest battle. If you’ve been pushing through workplace toxicity, feeling sabotaged on the job, or trying to “stick it out” in a relationship that leaves you drained, this message is for you.
We talk honestly about the trap of believing God is tied to a specific place or person. God isn’t “in the job” or “in the relationship,” God is in you, and God goes with you. That shift changes everything, including how you set boundaries, when you stop fighting battles that beat you down, and how you decide whether it’s time to stay or time to leave. I also share a moment at a bus terminal where staying calm in the face of disrespect became an unexpected lesson in biblical emotional regulation.
From there, we go deeper into accountability and healing patterns. We explore how internalized thoughts can create false realities, how repeating the same situations often signals unmade changes, and why trust matters when you don’t have every answer. If you want Christian encouragement, practical self-control, and a faith-based mindset for breaking cycles, press play. If it helps you, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find healing.

What if forgiveness didn’t mean saying it was okay? This conversation with E Marie Speaks pulls back the curtain on life after trauma and shows how faith, art, and discipline can turn survival into steady growth. We start with the hard naming of childhood molestation and the way trauma scrambles time, then trace how a single poem unearthed what was still unhealed: confusing forgiveness with approval. That pivot—offering grace without erasing harm—becomes a cornerstone for real change.
From stage to page, E Marie treats spoken word as more than performance. She calls it a purge, a way to move what the body holds into language that can finally leave. We talk honestly about raw imagery, faith-filled audiences, and why truth sometimes offends before it frees. Then we follow her leap from thirteen years at Ford to real estate, a faith move thick with uncertainty. The stories of provision—a test passed while sick, gas money handed at church, a foreclosed home that still taught trust—make faith feel local and practical, not lofty.
E Marie’s blueprint for lasting healing is simple and demanding: deliverance without discipline leads right back to bondage. She outlines the daily habits that protect progress—affirmations to rebuild self-worth, journaling to track triggers, movement and sunlight to steady the nervous system—and shares why structure is love in action. We also spotlight her affirmation coloring books and guided journal celebrating Black children, designed with images and activities that reflect their beauty and keep their attention. By the end, you’ll have language for forgiveness, tools for routine, and a new respect for how creativity and spirituality can anchor a life.

A voice rises from the wreckage and refuses to whisper. Alicia joins us to share how a childhood ache of not belonging grew into a full-blown addiction, how manipulation blurred into trafficking, and how a life held together by fear finally surrendered to something stronger. Her account is unflinching—meth highs, crack smoke, homelessness, and a federal case—but what stands out is the pivot: a moment of terrifying clarity, a rehab bed, and a living room encounter with a love she’d only heard about in church.
We walk through the layered weight of healing: telling the truth about coercion, rebuilding trust with herself, and choosing sobriety one ordinary day at a time. Alicia opens up about starting a Bible study in jail, redirecting the energy of obsession into scripture and service, and learning that faith doesn’t promise easy, it promises better. She also takes us into her bariatric sleeve surgery—years in the making—and how reshaping her body supported a renewed mind and spirit. From there, we explore why she founded Faith Into Action Candle Company and how a simple flame can carry a testimony into homes where church doors may never open.
Not everyone championed her voice. A church leader told her to stop sharing. Alicia shares why she kept going, how Revelation 12:11 emboldens her, and why she believes testimony breaks shame. With sentencing ahead and custody pain still tender, she chooses peace over panic, purpose over paralysis, and a fierce declaration that Jesus loves you and can transform any story. If you’ve battled addiction, survived coercion, wrestled with church hurt, or are standing at a crossroads with no good options in sight, this conversation offers honest hope and a map for the narrow road.
If this moved you, share it with someone who needs courage today, subscribe for more healing stories, and leave a review so others can find this conversation.

What if the light you carry is the very thing that exposes what hurts to heal? We open our hearts to the tension of beauty and brokenness, where prayer isn’t performance but breath, and where deception loses its grip when truth enters the room. Through raw confessions and grounded faith, we trace how gifts can feel like burdens when loneliness settles in, and how that same gift becomes lighter when we remember who carries us.
Across this reflective journey, we explore spiritual warfare as both a mental weight and a soulful battle, naming the subtle ways fear engineers false realities. We talk about running back to familiar bondage when freedom feels too wide, and why trust without borders is the only path that makes us whole. The world tries to soothe us with puzzle corners and quick certainty; we call out that false security and ask for the veil to lift so we stop borrowing the language of darkness. Along the way we offer vivid metaphors and practical reflection: guard your gates, test the fruit, and let exposure be mercy rather than shame.
This is a meditation on discernment, courage, and the slow work of healing. You’ll hear lines that hold a mirror to your own story: the loneliness inside a calling, the wolf beneath soft words, the ache of growing up with pain as a first language, and the quiet hope that keeps saying, “I’m trying.” If you’ve ever wondered why freedom can feel frightening, or how to stand steady when fear scripts a dozen false truths, this conversation will meet you where you are and point you toward light strong enough to carry what you carry. If it resonates, follow, share with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find their way to this space.

Pain bends our plans, but it doesn’t have to break our purpose. Meet Alma Thomas—educator, minister, and author—whose life rerouted through unthinkable grief, a devastating stroke, two years in a neglectful nursing facility, and a recent cancer diagnosis. She opens up about losing her 18-year-old son, the myths of “stages of grief,” and the practical tools that helped her function again: therapy through EAP, naming triggers, and setting boundaries that protect healing without apology.
We go deep on resilience that works in the real world. Alma explains how she rebuilt a life of service from her bed, writing ten books with one finger after dictation failed, and speaking on hundreds of podcasts, conferences, and virtual stages across continents. Her GPS metaphor for detours reframes setbacks as reroutes, not dead ends: delay is not denial. We unpack how to turn pain into purpose with concrete actions like launching a scholarship for young Black men, reframing productivity to match capacity, and advocating firmly when bias shows up—like the time an event muted her camera the moment they saw she was bedbound.
You’ll hear a voice that is unflinchingly honest and fiercely hopeful. Alma’s faith fuels her, but her tactics are universal: prepare for triggers, communicate context before others assume, choose steady effort over perfection, and dare to try again even when your timeline shatters. If you’ve ever felt sidelined by loss, illness, or detours you didn’t choose, this conversation offers both comfort and a playbook. Press play, then share this with someone who needs a reroute, subscribe for more human, hard-won wisdom, and leave a review telling us the one dream you’re ready to try again.

Stop trying to split your heart. We explore the hard truth that you can’t love God and the world at the same time, and we trace how that single decision reshapes work, desire, and daily practice. Drawing from James 2:26, 1 John 2:15, and Luke 6:46, we connect belief to obedience and show why lip service leaves the soul empty while real surrender brings clarity and courage.
We get honest about the comparison trap: scrolling through highlight reels, coveting lifestyles, and mistaking envy for motivation. That cycle doesn’t just waste time; it erodes obedience. You’ll hear a clear, compassionate path forward—naming distractions, bringing messy desires to God, and turning prayer into steady action. We outline small, concrete shifts that move faith from words to works: choosing presence over the feed, integrity over image, generosity over applause, and quiet trust over anxious striving.
This conversation invites a single-minded heart. When we choose God first, work becomes service, success becomes stewardship, and struggle becomes formation. The result is not perfection but alignment—daily bread for real life and a soul anchored beyond the next like or milestone. If you’re tired of being torn in two, come reset your loves and let obedience lead you into freedom.
If this resonates, subscribe, share the episode with a friend who needs encouragement, and leave a review so more people can find the show. What one act of obedience will you take today?

What if the harvest you meet tomorrow is growing from the seed you plant today? We explore the ancient rhythm of sowing and reaping through a candid look at personal responsibility, forgiveness that feels impossible, and trust that outlasts confusion. Drawing on Galatians 6:7, Psalm 105:15, and Proverbs 3:5–6, we talk through the moments when you know you’ve done wrong, the courage it takes to make things right, and the surprising freedom that comes from praying for people who hurt you.
We also wrestle with the allure of quick fixes. AI promises speed, shortcuts, and slick results, but life with depth cannot be microwaved. We introduce BI—biblical intelligence—as a better compass for modern choices: patience over impulse, character over clout, and wisdom over noise. That lens helps us ask new questions about our habits, our motives, and the long-term harvest we’re creating with every click, word, and decision.
Across this conversation, we return to the road of redemption—imperfect, steady, and open to anyone willing to plant new seeds. Forgive first, understand later. Set boundaries without hardening your heart. Trust God when the why remains hidden, and let daily practices of prayer, humility, and repair reshape your future. If this moved you or gave you a step to take today, subscribe, share the episode with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review to help others find the show. What seed will you plant next?

What if the reason history keeps repeating in your life is not fate but a habit you haven’t named yet? We open up about accountability, the pull of old patterns, and the quiet courage it takes to step out of the storm and into a steadier rhythm with God. This is a conversation about free will, surrender, and the difference between blaming the enemy and owning the choices that keep us circling the same pain with different faces.
We dig into two anchors: prayer as daily bread and faith over sight. Rather than treating prayer like a wish list, we make it the place we bring struggles, confusion, shame, and fear. That’s where alignment happens—where the mind stops overdriving every decision and the heart regains its tune. Through a vivid tornado metaphor, we explore why we get swept into the same cycles and how withdrawing our hand—our consent, our denial—creates space for change. We also share a tender moment about sensing God’s sadness, not to condemn, but to invite an honest look at what needs to shift.
You’ll hear how discernment grows with practice, why surrender isn’t passivity, and how God’s protection often looks like intervention you only notice in hindsight. The grand piano image brings it home: some loads require a specialist. Trying to move them alone breaks things. God offers expert help for free; our job is to ask and keep inviting Him into every part of the day. Expect practical insight on breaking patterns, praying for clarity, and cultivating gratitude that steadies you before the outcome arrives.
If you’re ready to stop spinning and start walking by faith, press play, share this with someone who needs courage, and leave a review to tell us where accountability is leading you next.

A quiet ache can echo for years, shaping how we love, trust, and show up. This episode leans into that ache with honesty and care, tracing the line from father wounds and inner child pain to a steady, lived sense of worth. We speak candidly about the moments that make us feel small—being talked at, not to; watching others be celebrated; wondering why love seems conditional—and we show how naming these patterns loosens their grip without turning our story into a diagnosis.
Across a reflective, poetic arc, we explore how comparison rubs raw against fragile self-concept and why familiar pain keeps finding us until we choose differently. You’ll hear a shift from why me to my turn, supported by simple tools that anyone can use: boundary-setting that protects connection and anchor faith in daily life, and a choose, act, reflect, repair, repeat loop that builds resilience without pretending the road is easy. Tears are not a setback here; they are data and release, a sign that the body is clearing space for something truer.
Faith runs like a spine through the conversation—not as a shortcut, but as a practice that steadies attention when doubt gets loud. We talk about speaking to the inner child with respect, catching the urge to flee before it steers the day, and stepping toward opportunities even when readiness feels far away. By the end, the promise is simple and hard-won: healing is underway, you are not alone, and hope grows stronger each time you choose it. If this resonates, share it with someone who needs a gentle word today, subscribe for more grounded reflections, and leave a review telling us the line that stayed with you.

A single question can pry open a life you’ve been holding together with quiet endurance. When Angela Chambers’ father asked, “How long are you going to do this?” it wasn’t judgment—it was a lifeline. From there, she began the hard, holy work of leaving a 28-year marriage marked by spiritual, financial, and physical abuse, while holding onto faith, dignity, and a fierce desire to protect her family. What follows is a story of preparation, humility, and the kind of restoration that arrives in surprising places.
We walk through the practicalities of getting safe: changing paperwork, opening accounts, documenting finances, and seeking counsel from pastors and therapists. Angela is honest about the tension between honoring marriage and refusing harm; she’s not advocating easy exits, but she is clear that God does not require anyone to stay where abuse is the norm. With no paycheck and bills due, she started cleaning houses “for a month or two,” which turned into seven years. That season became her seminary. Service turned sacred as she learned to see mops and mirrors as tools of ministry, wrote a poem called “Made In His Image,” and watched families regain time because their homes were cared for.
Then came a tender sign on a Gulf Shores jetty: after a storm, the beach was littered with perfect shells. In prayer, Angela sensed a promise—“I will restore you.” The shells had been thrashed by waves and arrived whole; so would she. That vision reshaped her obedience, even when it meant awkward apologies to her ex. Step by step, she rebuilt identity, dropped the mask, stayed rooted in worship, and let counseling do its slow, steady work. Now, as a speaker and teacher, she reaches women with a message that blends safety planning, spiritual courage, and real-world wisdom: you will be restored, you are being restored, and you will continue to be restored.
If this conversation meets you in the storm, let it also point you toward shore. Subscribe, share with someone who needs courage today, and leave a review to help others find these stories of healing and hope.

The chair looks sturdy until it doesn’t. The seatbelt looks standard until it clicks past your limit. That’s where our conversation begins—at the quiet breaking points that make everyday life feel like a test, and the moment you decide to fight for a life that fits.
We open with the raw truth of public anxiety: booths that bruise, flights that leave legs burning, and the shame of asking for what your body needs. From there, we trace the path into emotional eating—how comfort foods become constant companions, how isolation grows, and why cultural judgment misses the full picture of what people carry. We talk about the invisible struggles you can’t see at a glance—addiction, codependency, stress—and the radical power of small compassion, the kind that starts with a real “How are you?” and waits for the answer.
The health choices are unflinching. We break down the lived experience of Adipex (phentermine): furnace-like heat, racing heartbeat, breathlessness, and weeks of sharp irritability. We also share a confusing spiral of hot flashes and shame, and what it taught us about listening to the body without panic. Then comes a turning point: choosing gastric sleeve surgery not as a shortcut, but as a disciplined tool. We get practical about what life looks like after surgery—reflux realities, portion limits, why protein matters, and the hard rule to avoid eating two to three hours before sleep. There’s honesty here about cravings that linger and the small, reliable rituals that help, like choosing safe foods that sit well and being patient with progress.
Threaded through it all is faith and resilience. Prayer and spoken word poetry became a lifeline during job loss, housing upheaval, and days that felt endless. The message isn’t perfection; it’s surrender, structure, and the courage to ask for help. If you’re navigating emotional eating, stimulant side effects, or a surgical path, you’ll find both practical guidance and steady hope.
If this conversation meets you where you are, follow the show, share it with someone who needs it, and leave a review so others can find it. Your story matters, and your next step can start today.

A benefits email I almost deleted changed everything. After years of trying pills and plans, a new LTL job connected me to Kerum Health and Journey Lite—partners that covered my bariatric surgery, hotel, and even a stipend. I asked God for a sign in the hotel parking lot and turned straight into the brightest rainbow I’ve ever seen. That moment anchored me through the hardest 72 hours of my life.
We walk you through the exact pre-op hurdles, including why losing 30 pounds to shrink a fatty liver can make robotic surgery safer, and how a high-protein, low-calorie plan moved the scale fast. I share the surge of buyer’s remorse after waking up in excruciating pain, the nausea that only dissolved meds could calm, and the small sips and strict timing that kept me stable. You’ll hear the unfiltered truth about the spirometer every two hours, the switch from liquids to purees to solids, the shock of rapid weight loss, and the reality of loose skin and reflux that demand careful routines.
If you or someone you love is weighing bariatric surgery, this story gives you the practical playbook: protein targets (60–80 grams), hydration goals, measuring portions, spacing meals before sleep, and never skipping vitamins. It also offers the mindset shift that makes the journey sustainable—how faith, timing, and a supportive care team can carry you when willpower fades. I talk about emotional eating, shame, and why consistent check-ins with dietitians who’ve been through surgery make a difference. Press play for a candid look at pain, patience, and the grace to start over. If this resonates, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review with the one habit you’ll commit to this week.

A safer surgery starts long before the operating room. I break down the exact pre-op routine that made rapid weight loss possible and protected the liver, from a protein-first meal plan to vitamins that actually get absorbed and flavors you’ll want to stick with. If you’ve ever wondered how people lose 30 pounds in a month before bariatric surgery—or how to keep losing afterward—this candid walkthrough lays out the playbook with real brands, real numbers, and real talk about cravings, texture fatigue, and budget.
I share how moving from 2,700–3,300 daily calories to a tightly structured 600–800 calorie pre-op plan shrank a fatty liver enough for surgeons to operate safely. ProtiFit meals and drinks made it doable: savory standouts like chili and fettuccine, a protein-packed cappuccino that feels like a treat, and lighter juice-style options for when milky shakes get old. You’ll hear which products worked, which flavors to skip, how to hit 60–80 grams of protein without nausea, and simple hydration hacks using cucumbers and watermelon when 64 ounces of water feels out of reach.
Vitamins are a linchpin after bariatric surgery, so we compare chewables versus capsules, cost trade-offs, and how to stay consistent when your taste buds and stomach change. We also dig into shake strategies—Premier vs Pure Protein vs Isopure—and a mix that delivers 30-plus grams in one glass using protein-fortified almond milk. Along the way, we talk portion realities, trigger foods that no longer sit right, and the wins that keep motivation high.
From 421 pounds to 290 and still dropping, this journey proves that structure beats guesswork. If you’re prepping for surgery, rebuilding after, or just need a smart, high-protein roadmap, you’ll walk away with a shopping list, a plan, and the confidence to make it stick. If this helped, follow the show, share it with someone who needs a boost, and leave a review so more people can find practical guidance that works.

What does it actually feel like to stand inside the chaos—sirens blaring, crowds surging, storms rolling in—and keep your head clear enough to help? We sit down with Chauncey Mays, a Florida-born cop, former firefighter, trucker, and dad, to trace a life spent where pressure is high and time is short. His stories are raw, funny, and disarming: a jam-packed Easter block party where gunfire cracks through the music, hurricane evacuations that turn gas stations into flashpoints, and a semi skidding through unplowed streets while the clock keeps ticking.
Chauncey opens up about the emotional toll of public safety: the calls involving kids, the wrecks that never leave your mind, and the quiet moments when you have to reset before the next dispatch. We unpack practical tools for resilience—fast debriefs with coworkers, the right kind of dark humor, and the discipline to call it when conditions turn unsafe. Along the way, he reminds us why service still matters, from the State Guard’s hurricane support to lifting a stranger out of the sand on a crowded beach. The thread running through it all is a steady creed: take one day at a time, handle what’s in front of you, and don’t let tomorrow’s noise drown out today’s choices.
It’s not all heavy. We talk fatherhood, travel in Old San Juan, and even a spirited review of budget-friendly cruises—proof that joy and recovery belong in every resilience plan. If you’re curious about law enforcement realities, firefighter life, hurricane prep, trucking in winter, or how to cope without going numb, this conversation offers grounded insights and a few much-needed laughs. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs a boost, and leave a review telling us the one habit that helps you stay steady when everything tilts.

Some stories punch through the noise and make you rethink what protection, purpose, and peace really mean. John Vaughn’s journey starts in the streets of Indianapolis and spirals into fast money, arrests, and a near-death moment that should have ended everything. Instead, he walked away with a question that reappeared at every crossroads: who keeps rescuing me when I’m not even looking for help?
We sit with John as he retraces life before and after prison, the lure of quick cash and new cars, and the sharp emptiness he calls the “God void.” The turning point arrives on a front porch: a neighbor says God sent him, prays over John’s ruined shoulder, and years of scans and surgery plans are eclipsed by instant healing. That moment doesn’t just restore movement; it resets meaning. John opens the Bible and finds it alive—promises about protection, provision, and peace that prove steady when shelves go empty and costs climb.
Together, we explore how faith moved from vague belief to daily practice: praying and fasting, anchoring in scripture, and refusing to let fear write the story. John talks candidly about reentry, low wages, child support, and the grind of starting over, and how trusting God turned survival into endurance. He names the trap of status chasing, echoes Solomon’s warning about vanity, and shows why building on a solid foundation matters when the world shakes.
If you’ve ever wondered whether grace can break cycles, or whether a promise on a page can carry you through a hard week, this conversation offers both candor and hope. Listen, share it with someone who needs a reason to keep going, and if it resonates, subscribe, leave a review, and tell us where mercy showed up in your story.

Pain tried to have the final word—through the loss of a childhood friend, a narcissistic breakup, financial strain, a house sold under pressure, even an apartment fire a month after moving in. We share how faith steadied the chaos and why healing is less about being fixed and more about being found. You’ll hear the heart behind our mission, the growing global community, and how poetry, coaching, and candid conversations turn silent tears into words that help others breathe again.
We open up about spiritual detours that promised comfort but delivered confusion, from tarot and crystals to the myth that strength means carrying it alone. What changed everything was staying in God’s Word and staying honest with God—letting Him meet us in the mess, make crooked paths straight, and grow wisdom over time. That shift from double-mindedness to steady trust didn’t happen overnight. It unfolded through prayer, scripture, fellowship, and the brave act of telling the truth about what still hurts.
If you’re navigating grief, toxic relationships, financial pressure, or the slow work of rebuilding after setback piled on setback, this podcast is for you. We talk practical resilience, spiritual maturity, and why your testimony matters more than you think. Our community now spans 118 countries, proof that real stories travel and that healing accelerates when we carry one another. Share your journey, lend your voice, and let grace turn pain into purpose.

A life lived at full tilt can look heroic from the outside—until the adrenaline wears off. John Graham takes us from a freighter at 17 to Denali’s lethal north wall, from hitchhiking through revolutions to a siege in Hue where everything changed. What began as a chase for danger becomes a candid reckoning with purpose, PTSD, and the hard pivot from thrills to service.
We trade summit photos for substance as John explains how he rebuilt meaning at the United Nations, pushed for peace and justice across Africa, and helped end apartheid. Then we dig into the Giraffe Heroes Project, a storytelling platform he helped shape with Anne Medlock that spotlights unsung people who “stick their necks out” to fix real problems—whistleblowers, community organizers, teenagers cleaning up polluted streams. John shows why stories move people faster than lectures, and how hearing from someone who looks like you can nudge you from complaint to action.
The conversation turns practical and personal: what trust-building actually looks like when your relatives disagree on fundamental issues, how small talk about grandkids opens space for joint work, and where to find common ground on local environmental fights. We also touch on his “Badass Granddad” short videos, where hair-raising scenes become three-minute lessons on courage, patience, and community. If you’ve felt the tug to do more than scroll, this is a roadmap—clear, humane, and born of hard-earned experience.

A single sentence can turn a breakdown into a breakthrough. After a rough day stacked with work stress, family needs, and an unexpected bill, a tense phone call took an unexpected turn: an apology, a blessing, and a quiet assurance from one woman to another that everything would be okay. That moment of grace didn’t just soothe raw nerves—it sparked a calling to create a space where women can bring their real stories and be met with faith, empathy, and strength.
We introduce the Woman-to-Woman community, a faith-based home for Christian women and women in transition who wrestle with guilt, shame, or the fear that their past disqualifies them from God’s love. We talk about the armor of perfection and why it’s so heavy, the scars hidden under polished smiles, and the courage it takes to speak truth in a world that often prefers silence. You’ll hear how empathy diffuses anger, how prayer reframes pain, and how sisterhood can lift burdens that feel impossible to carry alone. We lay out what’s next: twice-monthly meetups, shared testimonies, practical support, and the upcoming Woman-to-Woman Academy designed to deepen learning and accountability.
If you’ve asked how to move forward, whether God will forgive you, or where to find safe community, this conversation offers a path. We’re building a place to heal, grow, and live with intention—together. Subscribe, join the Woman-to-Woman Facebook group, and send your email to stay updated on events and guest opportunities. Share this with a friend who needs to hear, from one woman to another, that everything’s going to be okay.

Bullying at work doesn’t always look like a headline—most of the time, it looks like subtle power plays, isolation, and quiet harm that never makes the news. We sit down with veteran TV executive and anti-bullying advocate Andy Regal to unpack why abuse of power thrives in modern workplaces, how the legal system leaves targets exposed, and what it actually takes to protect your peace without abandoning your career. From Hollywood controversies to everyday offices, the patterns are the same: charismatic high performers shielded by proximity to power, HR constrained by structure, and loyal employees paying the price with their health.
Andy shares lived experience from major newsrooms and production floors, plus the evidence he’s gathered while writing Surviving Bully Culture. We explore the difference between illegal harassment and still-legal bullying, the business costs of “brilliant jerks,” and the psychological fallout that lingers as PTSD, insomnia, and shame. You’ll hear practical steps to regain control: documenting patterns, setting firm boundaries, moving key conversations to writing, finding allies, and building a discreet exit strategy before you need it. We also talk healing—why mental health days matter, how community support reduces isolation, and how small wins, exercise, sleep, and creativity rebuild agency.
There’s hope here. Real leadership looks like empathy under pressure, not humiliation. Your value isn’t measured by a bully’s approval, and your future isn’t defined by one toxic team. If you’ve ever cried on the way to work or questioned your worth because of someone else’s behavior, this conversation offers clarity, tools, and a path forward. If you’ve ever tried to carry everything alone and felt the ache of distance from God, this conversation will feel like a mirror and a map. We start with the raw truth of wandering hearts and the surprising tenderness of a love that keeps calling us home. From there, we step into the clarity of 2 Corinthians 10:5—capturing thoughts, dismantling inner arguments, and rebuilding a mind that can rest in Christ. The goal isn’t to impress God; it’s to live free, with a conscience that’s awake and a spirit that’s steady.
We pray through the honest stuff: admitting sin without excuse, asking for mercy, and requesting the deeper work—wash me clean, renew my mind, purify my heart, restore joy. That prayer becomes a practical guide to spiritual reset, moving beyond shame into a rhythm where grace fuels obedience. You’ll hear how gratitude changes the texture of the day, why turning from what harms you opens space for peace, and how small, daily choices form a real road to redemption.
By the end, we return to identity: God as home, God as peace, God as the place where we can be fully ourselves. If you’re carrying a heavy mind or walking a lonely road, take a few minutes to breathe, listen, and begin again. Subscribe for more short, heartfelt reflections, share this with someone who needs hope, and leave a review to help others find their way back home.

What do you do when your world is shrinking to the next high and the next court date? Robin sits down with her uncle, author and YouTuber Timothy Blaine, for an unflinching, hope-forward story about meth addiction, San Quentin’s HIV unit, and the moment faith rerouted a life. Tim spent 17 years using and cycled through lockups 40 times. Then something shifted. Letters from family reached him. A quiet conviction took hold. He walked out determined never to return to drugs—and 25 years later, he hasn’t.
We explore why meth felt like relief during the terrifying early HIV years and how selling on the streets became survival when the system made freedom a moving target. Tim describes the violence that finally broke the spell, the strange calm of quarantine in a converted prison gym, and the first days of believing he could be more than a record of charges. That belief sparked a vocation. He wrote Meth Monster to tell the truth about addiction and deliverance, then built a bold fictional universe: the Love and Gospel Music series, weaving spirits, queer identity, and the gospel industry’s hidden tensions; Epiphany, a listener favorite; and The Label, a ghost story about legacy and the unseen. From there, the YouTube beef sector inspired three sharp murder mysteries—Murder in the Beef Sector, Deadly Wager, and Who Shot the Caller?—probing doxing, clout, and consequences. His recent book, The Battle, pits a relentless spirit against the fentanyl trade, asking hard questions about harm and justice.
Along the way, Tim shares the daily rhythms that keep him grounded: serving as an usher, caring for his dog, writing, and showing up online with humor and candor. The through-line is clear: healing didn’t erase the past; it reassigned its purpose. Whether you connect with the faith language or the craft, you’ll hear a roadmap for choosing life over numbness, community over isolation, and creation over despair.

The conversation opens in the wilderness—where comfort ends and real faith begins. Robin and Damien get candid about what it’s like when God empties your cup, asks you to carry your cross, and invites you into a life where prayer isn’t a ritual but a relationship. If you’ve ever wondered why the early steps of faith feel harder before they feel holy, this is the map and the company you’ve been looking for.
We break down a practical rule of life: prayer that’s honest, fasting that quiets cravings, scripture that speaks in real time, and community that carries burdens. Damien shares how “Men of Discipline” pairs fitness with faith to build self-control and align mind, body, and spirit. We talk discernment by fruit, not by appearances; how to guard your eye and ear gates; and why the armor of God is daily gear, not a metaphor you leave on a shelf. Expect hard truth delivered with warmth: not every open door is from God, not every friend is a friend—some are “sinship”—and quick blessings can come with hidden interest.
We also confront counterfeits that mimic light: horoscopes, numerology, crystals, and the urge to “manifest” what patience and obedience would reveal in time. Jesus is not just Savior; He is Lord who leads decisions about work, relationships, and calling. That shift changes language and identity—no more agreeing with labels like anxiety or fear. Instead, we choose fruit that lasts: gentleness, self-control, peace, and joy. When you’re satisfied in Christ, temptation loses leverage. When you’re steady in the word, attacks become opportunities to practice love, quote scripture, and watch darkness flee.
Walk away with clear steps to strengthen your signal: read the Bible daily, fast regularly, pray without ceasing, and build a circle that reflects the fruit you want. If this helped you find clarity or courage, follow the show, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people can discover it. What practice will you start today?

Ever wondered why the people who care the most at work often get punished for it? We sit down with TV veteran and coach Andy Regal to unpack the anatomy of workplace bullying—from the subtle eye roll that chips at belonging to the brazen public barb that marks someone for ridicule. Andy draws on 25 years in high-pressure media and dozens of expert interviews to show how repeated, targeted behaviors with no benefit to the employee or the business slowly dismantle confidence, performance, and joy.
We talk about why top performers and team-first contributors are frequently singled out, how mobbing forms when a leader signals someone is fair game, and the difference between tough management and bullying. You’ll hear candid stories of micromanagement, sarcasm in front of clients, and that stomach-dropping “the boss wants a word” summons—and how those moments spiral into anxiety, hypervigilance, and self-blame. Just as important, we map a way out: psychological safety rituals, boundary scripts, positive self-talk to quiet the inner critic, and small wins that restore identity when a toxic boss tries to define you.
For leaders, we dig into the real costs of incivility—lost focus, turnover, rehiring, and the corrosive impact of “brilliant jerks.” We make the case for codifying respectful conduct with real consequences, the limits of HR when power is involved, and practical steps to build cultures where apologies are modeled and people can make mistakes without fear. If you’ve cried on the commute, dreaded a “quick chat,” or felt your light dim at work, this conversation offers language, strategy, and hope.

Pain usually feels pointless, but what if it’s a doorway to life when seen through the lens of love? We walk through a series of powerful scriptures that reframe correction, sacrifice, and hardship without softening their edges. From Job’s blessing in divine discipline to Paul’s stark warning that sacrifice without love gains nothing, we trace a path that leads straight to the mocked King in Matthew: a scarlet robe, a crown of thorns, and a staff used for scorn that becomes a symbol of true authority.
We share how Jesus’ call to lose your life in order to find it isn’t a paradox for poets; it’s a roadmap for disciples. Philippians and Isaiah anchor the idea that knowing Christ includes both resurrection power and the fellowship of his sufferings. That isn’t cruelty; it’s companionship. The Man of Sorrows carries our griefs, turning misread shame into revealed love. Peter and Paul push us further: taking up the cross is not an optional upgrade. It is the way our minds are armed, our fears quieted, and our desires reshaped toward what lasts.
As the conversation unfolds, we hold two scales: present troubles and eternal glory. The scales won’t balance, and that’s the point. Eternal weight far outweighs momentary pain. Out of that perspective comes a current of comfort from the Father of mercies, a comfort designed to move through us into the lives of others. Perseverance produces character; character matures into hope; and hope refuses to disappoint because God is already at work. The closing promise from the God of all grace ties it all together: after a little while, he restores, strengthens, and sets us firm.
If this resonates, share it with a friend who needs courage today, subscribe for more grounded, scripture-rich conversations, and leave a review to help others find the hope you found here.

When anxiety grips and every option feels risky, we don’t need a louder voice—we need a truer one. We open up about the restless energy of waiting, the guilt that trails indecision, and the ache of wanting to do right without a clear path forward. Rather than chasing quick fixes, we lean on Scripture as a living guide that teaches, corrects, and steadies the heart when fear clouds our judgment.
We reflect on the power of 2 Timothy 3:16 to reframe anxiety as a moment for teaching and realignment, not condemnation. From there, we wrestle with the tension between our will and God’s wisdom, noticing how surrender shifts the goal from perfect choices to faithful closeness. Pain shows up as an unexpected teacher, often steering us away from harm and into protection we couldn’t see. Our prayers move from frantic demands to a quiet request for clarity and the patience to wait well, trusting that timing can be a form of care.
Two images anchor the conversation. Psalm 119:105 reminds us that God’s word is a lamp, not a stadium light: enough for the next step, enough to stay on the path. Hebrews 4:12 reveals a word alive and active, able to cut through tangled thoughts and pierce the haze of shame. With that light and that edge, we find courage to rebuke the darkness, choose one faithful step, and rest in the promise that we are not forsaken. If you’re standing at a crossroads with a racing mind, come sit with these verses and this prayerful pace. Subscribe, share this with someone who needs a steady word today, and leave a review to help others find their next step too.

"Breaking Free: Kelly Hawley’s Powerful Journey from Darkness to Healing | Inside Warrior Bride Ministries." In this heartfelt video, Kelly Hawley opens up about her personal story and the founding of Warrior Bride Ministries. Discover how generational bloodlines and sinister forces like SRA (Satanic Ritual Abuse) impact vulnerable children and learn about the path to healing and freedom from these dark entities. A must-watch for anyone seeking hope, awareness, and spiritual restoration.
YouTube Interview: https://youtu.be/C3hVo-spIjc
Kelly Hawley is the Founder and Executive Director of Warrior Bride Ministries. She has served individuals and families impacted by childhood exploitation for over 19 years. While ministering to survivors with similar stories as her own, she noticed the Lord was sending many who had been trafficked. This exposed Kelly to the bigger picture of ritual abuse and the lack of help available to trafficked survivors and those with dissociative identity disorder. After seeking training and mentorship from experts in the field, Kelly founded Warrior Bride Ministries where she currently ministers to survivors of SRA and mind control.
Kelly embraces the call to unite the body of Christ to become educated and involved in the rescue and healing of our children. She fosters this growth through ministry partnerships, hosting Counting the Cost conferences, and leading presentations at safe houses and other ministries. Her heart’s cry is for all believers to embrace Isaiah 61 by becoming equipped to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free.

Often, our lives become entangled in patterns of negative beliefs, fears, and past traumas—collectively referred to as “dysfunction”—that shape how we perceive ourselves and the world around us. By consciously identifying and challenging these old narratives, you can begin to dismantle mental barriers and replace them with empowering thoughts and habits. This process might include mindfulness practices, reflective journaling, therapy, or guided visualization techniques that help you uncover subconscious blocks and reframe your mindset. As you clear the clutter of your past story, you pave the way for a renewed sense of clarity, confidence, and purpose. Ultimately, Dysfunction Detox is not just about overcoming dysfunction but about reclaiming your power to create a vibrant, intentional new life that truly reflects who you are meant to be.

It’s the armor of perfection I try to put on, the mistakes that I make are becoming my best friend. Those who have hurt me, I have given too many chances and now I pull back and archive
It's time for me to heal to prevent myself from bleeding out.
pretending everything is ok, deep down I feel like I'm drowning. hiding behind my smiles
and I can’t stop living in my head.
God I'm so tired of pretending to be ok when clearly, I'm not…each day it’s the same thing…
I understand that faith without works is dead. It’s the fear that I'm feeling…..the fear makes me want to take control every time I don’t see a way out..
The hardest part of suffering is realizing majority of it comes from my own free will and it seems at time accountability is what I'm lacking most
I feel my heart palpitating and I feel like I can’t breathe. I don’t know what to do next…
When I don’t feel you, it may be you testing my faith… but it's also the things I'm doing,
Dear God, I'm panicking just help me please? If this is what takes to surrender, then God please just take it all
I need you now more than ever, and now I surrender.
Stay Blessed

What is this emptiness that I feel? I feel so lost right now, just as Jesus died on the cross, a cross that faces North, South, East, and West, strategically telling us that He is the way and that will never change. But this world is so dark and heavy right now, it’s a numbness I feel that I can’t explain. What do I do now?
I need your direction. Every time I do what I feel is right, it leads me astray and I need your help…
Help me when I cannot see. It's you that gives me the ability to feel what’s right.
Fill my cup God, fill me with discernment, fill me with your light, fill me with wisdom, fill me until I’m no longer confused, fill me with your love and warm embrace.
Help me navigate through what I can’t explain as you know exactly what I’m feeling… it’s your will that I’m chasing, and yet more distractions get in the way.
The world doesn’t want me, but it’s what my heart is pouring out
They say the biggest smiles and biggest hearts feel the most pain… and now I think I finally understand what they mean.
But when God blocks a door, just know that door would have led you down the deepest darkest hole where there wouldn’t have been a way out…
When we need His light, He closes all the doors that only cast shadows because it’s the devil that wants to keep us blinded and delayed
But there are souls our voices must reach so never stop praising His name, … just as God is our guiding light, He still uses us as His vessel to help guide others when they can’t see a way out.
It’s the road to redemption, righting our wrongs, dying to self, and giving Him our yes so, He can lead the way.
Stay blessed.

There is no time for fear, only preparation. God is calling for unity and not segregation as He is the tree of life.
Some of His children, He is calling home, and what we see as gone too soon, is still a part of His design as He uses our loved ones even in the afterlife.
The book of Revelation is now unfolding in front of our very eyes. Reminding us that what He reveals He redeems.
It is a leash He has the devil on; He has given him a long leash to wreak havoc on the world. What our eyes are seeing has absolutely nothing to do with what God is preparing, for He always has a plan.
What we want isn’t always aligned with God’s will and it’s our eternal souls we must focus on
As we are a product of our past, we are not prisoners of it,
Dear heavenly Father please forgive our sins, known and unknown. As we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
Revelation 6 introduces the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse the white horse - comes to conquer
The red horse – war… takes peace from humanity causing violence and hate to rise
The black horse – brings famine and scarcity leading us into the vibration of lack,
The green horse – death
It’s the devil that wants to mimic everything bringing about confusion from what we see physically,
But it’s God who works in the unseen, spiritually the color green – is healing, black is protection and transformation, white is pure and heavenly, and red, is the blood of Jesus Christ who already has the victory!
Just as John 20:7 says, “And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.” Intentionally making all aware that He will return. The pain that we feel is what moves us into position. God sees our needs before they arise and makes provision … there isn’t anything He can’t protect us from…He is our provider; He is our father; He is... the Great I am.
Stay Blessed.

At times it feels as though we can look at life through an hourglass, we watch the sand slowly fill the bottom, but it’s far too easy to flip it over and realize now you have less time than you started with…
Through Life’s adversities and setbacks… it’s the unseen and unknown that can feel as though time is running out.
But it is God who, He gave life a whole new meaning. God showed me love and what if feels like to be loved, as He loves me unconditionally even through all my mistakes, transgressions, and failures. The pain and suffering I have experienced, and the pain I feel when my children are hurting… it’s constantly followed by the thought of what God must feel daily
Over and over as God watches all His children suffer and still having more strength to extend
We have all made terrible mistakes, we have all been lost in these storms. And we have all suffered through the pain of wanting to quit as it’s the darkness sucks us in… the darkness itself has a strong gravitational pull and without you God we face defeat
The darkness pulls up all the negativity and just leaves it there knowing that it is us who will amplify it. Beware of the optical illusions that you see, it’s the devil who manipulates everything.
The darkness works quickly… in life so many of us want to move fast wanting to be 9 steps ahead… if it’s easy, it’s not worth it…. The strength that it takes to keep waiting on what God has shown us… day after day struggling through the pain, wanting to be upset with you, but there you are again showering us with your love and grace…
Fighting the flesh alone, I lose each time. Dear God, this battle I need you and only you. Fighting these mental battles, the temptation, and any and everything the darkness brings… this is your battle God … it’s far too much for me to carry on my own. so, I lay all my burdens down at your feet.
Stay Blessed.

God’s glory doesn’t always come in volume; it sometimes appears in our stillness. Dear God, it's you leading us by faith and not by sight.
Logic is what keeps us blind as faith…tells us what could be
On the first day of creation
Genesis 1:3 God said, let there be light and there light was… Although the sun wasn’t created until day 4… day one there was light because God is the Light!
When God speaks, He gives birth to reality
God looks for our obedience, while we look for clarity and answers. We all want that microwavable approach to life... we want what we want, when WE want it.
But that brings us into living false realities and not what we were destined for.
We tend to minimize God when we start to doubt what doesn’t make sense to us.
Without clarity our impatience grows rapidly, but through our obedience, clarity and understanding will come even though He conceals some of the answers He needs us to seek Him in order to find.
He breathes new life into us each day, He restores our trust and renews our strength. When we see defeat, He sees the beginning of a victory.
To Believe without seeing and trust without knowing, God will show you who He is through our stillness and faith.
Stay blessed.

Dear God, it’s your love that can feel undeserving because it never stops. It’s the gift of your forgiveness and mercy that’s renewed each day but should never be taken for granted.
It’s the enemy who always feels he needs to win, but silly him, it’s you who lives in me that has already won!
Even with your victory, it’s the enemy that never stops chasing me, he is on the hunt, and it is only my soul that he wants to take…
I only became a slave to sin, because it was sin, I was practicing.
The devil wants me to question my faith constantly causing me to justify my wrong doings. wanting me to run from you in fear of punishment, but you are not a punisher although there will be consequences.
Dear God, I’ve learned the only way for me to stay in your will is by staying in your word, moving in my purpose, and asking for more discernment.
One thing I must remember… Ephesians 6:12 – 13 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
It’s the free will that you have given me and it’s my willingness to keep entering this dark cage. There is only so much I can blame the enemy for but also have to hold myself accountable…
James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But God right now is my time to grow in wisdom.
It’s this one specific lesson that I haven’t learned because it hasn’t stopped.
Although my wounds may bleed, it’s my warrior spirit that will never allow me to quit.
It’s the journey for self-love and it’s your love that keeps me above water when I feel like I’m drowning in sin… as I break free from this mental prison, I feel like I’m grabbing your hand because it is you who is always there waiting for me
Dear God, it’s your forgiveness that you have given me even when it’s hard for me to forgive myself. It’s your love that I never stop feeling even on the days when I find it hard to love myself. It’s your mercy and grace that you give me for all my transgressions. With all the blessings you continue to give me, I now know it’s the darkness who can’t afford any of me.
And God please forgive me for chasing what I was lacking and thank you for always delivering me from what doesn’t serve me.
Stay blessed.

For over a decade, Harold Phifer served in a war-zone as a contract air-controller in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay. He even survived a suicide bombing by the Taliban. He tells a moving story in his newest book, My Bully, My aunt, and Her Final Gift. It comes on the heels of publishing his earlier book, Surviving Chaos: How I Found Peace At A Beach Bar, which exposed a lot of people that affected the life of the author. Besides his problematic mother, Aunt Kelly left a lasting imprint.
“She was the opposite of all things positive,” says Phifer. “At the end of her twisted life it was painfully obvious to me that she deserved a book of her very own. The death of my evil aunt allowed me to see myself while operating a door for my brothers and me.”
Most of the contents in this story are recreated from real-life experiences of a lost and misguided kid. Some things have been changed for the sake of a better read.

Psalm 7:9 Put an end to the evil of the wicked, but establish the righteous, O righteous God who searches hearts and minds. Bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure— you, the righteous God who probes minds and hearts.
Dear God,
Your plan is always to destroy what needs to be renewed. I pray for LA, all the uncertainty and fear their minds must hold. Many refer to this time as a glimpse of Hell, ..Everything that has happened tells a story and now it’s you who is reading it out loud! .
After what you have exposed, it’s the souls who were hurting silently that can finally breathe as it’s no longer locked in a dungeon being too afraid to come out. It’s God who has them and its safe now to tell the world your stories.
Although it may have seemed as though the pain was never going to end. It is God that must walk before you and clear a straight path.
It is vengeance that is His and the darkness will now feel His wrath!
All the hidden shadows and demons are being reminded once again of the great I am!
With every heartbreak, as painful and uncomfortable as they are; it’s the deepest wounds that gain the greatest wisdom!
Tragedies are what seem to bring this world together, more and more will keep happening until He has our full attention.
We all are experiencing the wrath of God, He is putting an end to all the sin and hate, and this is the only way the world will listen.
When nothing is certain, anything is possible. We may see setbacks as a bad thing, when the journey is just beginning.
While fighting these storms, it may look like a losing battle because many of us took a chance with man and leaned on our own understanding instead of leaning on God like we’re supposed to.
Take a look at Mother Earth… she takes a lot of hits ..no matter if its fire, flooded waters, if she’s erupting, or breaking apart… there is always regrowth which will never stop…
Don’t allow what your eyes may see to keep you from growing…its dwelling that only prolongs the suffering.
God empties our cups to fill us up with plenty, lead with faith and trust him… no matter what is coming next, it’s always God’s glorious plan that always wins!
stay blessed.
Let’s pray for the lives lost, and those who are losing everything. God will fix it, and this too shall pass.

Pain is something that many of us want to hide, runaway from, or may become ashamed of, sometimes the biggest mystery tends to be self-discovery. Many will say pain is a part of life. However, life is what we experience physically, emotionally, mentally, and spirituality; however, that pain still sticks to us, therefore it becomes a part of us. Pain isn't a vacation where you go for a few days or weeks, come back home and restart. Pain is something you bring back home with you every day, it becomes something that requires deep introspection.

For everything that we can see going on in the world, I'm sure we could all agree this feels like the darkest and most uncertain time that we have experienced.
Dear heavenly Father, sometimes, it’s our minds that want to flee because we tend to lean on our own understanding. As you are a God of order, I ask that you make all our crooked paths straight.
Fear is an emotion that often tends to present itself, but through all the implemented fear, it is a battle that we can’t face alone.
Psalms 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
It’s the enemy’s trickery we’re up against. Humanity unknowingly inviting him in. It has many justifying and normalizing the darkness of sin we’re living in.
Often blaming every bad thing that is happening on the enemy, which is only amplifying darkness causing it to grow rapidly
Forgetting it’s a leash you have devil on, as he needs your permission before he can do anything. Through all the darkness, what is hidden, will never remain.
GOD it’s your voice that emerges in the stillness, the power of the pause and our willingness to surrender.
Effort comes before the excellence, as faith without works is dead
But we MUST remember, He that is in me, is far greater than He that is in the world…
Holy spirit who lives in us, the devils fear of Him is far greater than we know.
Which is why he only aims to Kill, steal, and destroy
Wanting to crush our souls, so we feel God is forsaking us
But when WE are weak, HE is strong
In moments of doubt, fear, and uncertainty It is God who has already calculated that along our paths.
God your essence will forever be beyond our comprehension. Everything that is happening, It’s still a part of your masterpiece.
God isn’t just here, there and everywhere, He Is our Father, He is the ALMIGHTY, He is The Great I am, He is EVERYTHING, and He’s Already here.
Stay Blessed

Living in a world where I’m mostly misunderstood with a knowing that this world isn’t really my home.
I used to think I was an overthinker on situations or people, but through this journey I realized, I think deeper than most.
My way of thinking is through the depths of the universe, my thoughts reach where most assume don’t exist.
Through my dreams, visions and all the synchronicities that follow me, it’s like following the North star and training my moral compass
Always asking for more discernment and God giving me the opportunity to listen to my intuition
Aligning my heart, mind, and soul. Maintaining communication through divine consciousness
Psalm 94:19 – “When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, your consolations delight my soul”.. because you’re always comforting me.
2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love, and of a sound mind”
Dear God, please heal these mental battles that all your children are going through
In this cruel world, some may only see in black and white, never realizing the gray area where darkness meets light
That’s where I live, the intermediary between two sides no longer feeling the need to conform to the dark side, only seeking more of what’s concealed, and moving by faith and not by sight.
Through my thought-provoking insights, having the ability to guide and uplift others as it is God who speaks through me.
I understand the gift I have been given and the ability to also heal oneself isn’t easy and this unconventional road can get lonely.
But I know it is God and the universe that are always with me, guiding me in the right direction and taking me through deeper introspection.
I am what this world calls deep.

Looking ahead for what’s coming the darker the world can become
Feeling empty, having the absence of not knowing what’s really wrong.
Being trapped in the mental prison, unable to turn off the mind
Not wanting to be alone, but not wanting to be around people either
Uncertain of what to feel, just the knowing of what’s missing
Having the feeling that no one will ever understand.
Always denying before we even try
Having so many heartbreaks and feeling so much pain, hearing negative comments causing the internal thoughts to believe them.
Once the doubt and despair sink in, the world continues to get darker and darker
Feeling unworthy of love and believing all the lies that were told
The thought of wondering if you will ever matter to anyone
Don’t let the darkness creep in, because it grows rapidly
There are many others that feel your pain and know exactly what you’re feeling
You’re not alone, know that you matter because you’re still here.
Deny the depression the darkness brings and keep loving yourself
Speak authority over your life
Reach out and allow yourself to heal
Stay Blessed

We often look outward for blame with the absence of accountability… simply because it’s the guilt and shame that we feel because we KNEW we saw those red flags and chose to ignore them… finding that outward blame then justifies why we made the mistake of staying knowing what we already knew….
When I did the episode "That can never be you, I choose me instead"… that’s what that was about… it wasn’t a bad feeling it was a memory of when I used to ignore red flags.
Everyone has an assignment, that person in your life, their assignment may be to hurt you in order for you to know you never want to feel this or that way again… yet here we are trying to hide that we ever once fell for it, yet we all have gone through it.

That Could Never Be You, I Choose Me Instead
You could never hold me in the middle of the night if I had a bad dream…
You could never come get me if car breaks down anytime of the day
You could never come with me to one of my kids concerts or games
You could never enjoy any of the holidays with me, lighting fireworks, going to costume parties, eating dinner with family, or even dressing the Christmas tree.
You could never be there to wipe away my tears because it’s you causing the pain
You could never be there when I really need you or even to just watch tv and do nothing
What hurts the most… I know if I asked why, it’d only be excuses that I’d hear knowing you’re lying…
I know what I want and that could never be you, so this is goodbye because I finally choose me instead.
I know what I deserve and not just what I can give or how I make you feel.
It’s only God and me and He always chooses me, and He never once left me or tried to hide me or act as though He was ashamed of me.
He puts my mind at ease, by showing me how someone is supposed to love me.
It’s not about these temporary pleasures that don’t mean a thing
I choose to ignore you instead of all the red flags
God knew what it took for me to see, and now I finally see me.
Thank you, God, for never leaving me, while I was lost in the darkness that held my mind hostage.
Feeling as though I was drowning, trying to break free from the mental prison
I have to release the anger, release the hurt, release the pain, and let it all heal
Thank you, God, for giving us grace for all our imperfections and always forgiving
I’m so proud to say that I finally choose me.
Stay Blessed

The enemy, often referred to as the prince of darkness, feeds on fear and revels in the shadows of uncertainty. His primary objective is to instill doubt, anxiety, and trepidation in the hearts of believers, for he knows that a fearful heart is a divided heart, torn between faith and uncertainty. But what drives this malevolent being to orchestrate such a campaign of fear? The answer lies in the very essence of his existence: he is consumed by an overwhelming fear of the One True God, the Author of Light and Love. The enemy's fear of God's power and majesty is so profound that it compels him to lash out in desperation, attempting to extinguish the light of faith that burns within the hearts of believers. And yet, in a paradoxical twist, the enemy's efforts only serve to illuminate the darkness, for as the light of God shines brighter, it exposes the enemy's schemes and reveals the futility of his evil designs. In this eternal struggle, the enemy's relentless pursuit of fear only serves to highlight the transformative power of God's love, which draws out the darkness, revealing the radiant beauty of redemption and salvation.

In a world where masks of perfection and invincibility are worn like armor, vulnerability is often mistakenly viewed as a liability. We're taught to conceal our emotions, to hide our fears, and to present a polished exterior, lest we be perceived as weak. But what if I told you that this notion is fundamentally flawed? Vulnerability, in reality, is a badge of courage, a testament to our willingness to be authentic, to be real, and to be human. It takes immense strength to expose our true selves, to peel back the layers of pretence, and to risk being hurt or rejected. By embracing vulnerability, we open ourselves up to deeper connections, to meaningful relationships, and to personal growth. We become more relatable, more empathetic, and more honest. We shed the weight of pretending to be someone we're not, and we discover the freedom that comes with being unapologetically ourselves. So, I say, let us celebrate vulnerability, for it is the very essence of our humanity.

God allows us to experience empty in order for us to experience plenty as He fills us back up with Him. Which is why our deepest wounds gain the greatest wisdom because God is growing us in Wisdom and understanding through our pain and suffering.
Our ego is where pride and judgement live. Through our pain, suffering, and sacrifice, it's the only thing that grabs our attention enough to create a humble heart, humility, understanding our place in this world and realizing that we are here for all of us. He gives us the ability to know and understand His unconditional love.

A missed opportunity is only a superstition. When we believe in things that we don't understand, we suffer. An opportunity can never be missed because God has already calculated all of our steps, just as He is the beginning and the end. He knows where all roads lead, what is meant for us will never pass us by. Faith without works is dead, having faith is moving forward without knowing what is next.

A mother’s love, it has no ceiling. A mother’s love is enough to make a grown man cry.
There almost isn’t anything a mother won’t do, when it comes to doing for her child.
A mother will give her last breath to save her child’s life.
The strength that it takes to be a mother, words can’t even explain.
A mother can complain and be mad but will still be there to save the day.
No matter the time, no matter the hour, she’ll be right there every time you call.
I never knew motherhood until I had my own. You can read all the books in all the world but there’s nothing like the natural instincts that kick in.
To see my mother or hear her laugh is still what makes my day and makes me smile.
There's so much love that goes into a mother and being a mother, and I thank God for blessing me as a mother every single day.
When your child is hurting rather their sick or had their first heartbreak. It’s your mother that can feel your pain, often wishing it was her instead of you.
But it’s God who gives us the strength to understand that it’s all a part of life and He will get us through but know that no one will be there for you like your mother will.
As children grow older it’s as if the roles reverse and the last thing sons and daughters want is to see their mother cry or to see her in pain. We then become protective of our mother and nobody better mess with her.
There's so much power behind being a mother, so much work and dedication. No matter if you’re a surrogate mother, an adoptive mother, a mother of child loss, a birth mother, or a mother figure.
It’s an honor and a true blessing that all of you bring to this world and so much knowledge and wisdom that you give. Just ask any mother her story. We all have a testimony and know we are all connected like that bridge over troubled waters.
No matter how hard it gets or how hard it has been, we will make it through.
Happy Mother’s Day

Oppressive Rulers
As we face heavy opposition, remember
When God chose us, He knew it was His light that would shine the brightest through us. It’s the warrior spirit that He embedded deep within
Rather at work, or at school…It is they who are intimidated by and scared of us because it is our bravery and our unwillingness to quit as it is the Greatest who is in us!
These oppressive rulers, they lie, they cheat, they exaggerate so many things, as they are filled with so much darkness and HATE! And I know it hurts
The path that we’re on we don’t know where it leads but we do know our enemies will surely be there because it is God who tells us so.
There is power and purpose inside of us that has a certain time when God wants to use it! When we’re experiencing heavy opposition from the world, take time from all distractions because He needs us to listen.
These battles are not ours they are His, just as the Victory is already His, it’s His victory we will gain. Through all the oppression, understand if God doesn’t want it to happen, it won’t.
The enemy will never win no matter what it looks like, it's all a part of God's design.
Sometimes we face these storms over and over because we are meant to grow wisdom. Deepest wounds gain the greatest wisdom. Wisdom turns to stories, those stories become opportunities for others who didn’t think it would ever be possible.
Even when you’re in the midst of a battle searching for a peace of mind. Just call on His name, as He will always bring you to that state of being.
Look to God and remember salvation is the greatest gift we will ever know
And because of that, we must NEVER give up.

I learned from so many of the things I only yearned for. Not realizing it was only God who was teaching me. When we tend to look back on past memories that random thought of someone who we used to talk to and for whatever reason you can’t seem to remember why all the communication ever stopped…
You reach out to them, or they send you a random a message and for a minute it makes you smile… but then God and the angels are protecting you so heavily they allow that person to do or say something that allows you to remember exactly what it is they helped you get away from.
It’s ok to remember the good times and be thankful for the bad times because they helped you grow. If we constantly hang on to those memories, it’ll only keep us at a standstill ..
Everyone that crosses our paths rather good or bad, has an assignment and sometimes their assignment is to teach us how to love ourselves.
Our lives aren’t a revolving door, don’t allow yourself to keep going in circles.
Embrace the power of moving forward and keep living!
You can hold on to the memory without holding on to that person. Redirect your focus to the one who has never let you go. Whenever you feel lost, just always remember to look up!
Stay blessed.

When it’s the loss of a loved one or the loss of a relationship we go dark because we mourn. When it’s a loved one it's as though you’re mourning times two, because not only are you mourning the loss of your loved one you are also mourning what your life would have been with your loved one. Relationship loss we mourn the life we painted with that person. Many are broken and only wish to find happiness. Happiness isn’t something you can purchase, like we’re able to purchase fear just by going to a haunted house. Rather implemented fear or the fear that lies within us, it always seems to be that dark voice telling us we’re not enough. You are enough!
Not everyone will be able to see things the way everyone else does. As they say it's easier when you’re on the outside looking in. But there’s that box that we all tend to put ourselves in. Remember faith and trust are without borders. No matter the pain that you’re feeling or no matter the pain that you feel for others, remember it's all apart of God’s plan and we must endure it.

God guarantees there will be pain, suffering, and sacrifice, but through love, especially His love, our limits of endurance can last longer than ever imagined. It is peace that He instills during our standstill. All we have to do is remain steadfast and allow His love to give us the strength to endure. When God’s presence isn’t felt, that’s when our faith is tested the most. Seasons do change, even when our personal season we’re in can seem a little too long. Some of us may be in the biggest fight of our lives rather it be an illness, coping with loss, feeling lonely, fighting those voices that are always telling us to give up, or we’re not enough, the pain sometimes seems too much.
For many the holidays may be the hardest time, as the weight of loneliness may feel heavier than ever expected. It seems to be a reminder of the absence of things you ever truly wanted. Year after year it never seems to change. Feeling as though, this is just may life, I may as well get used to it. "I have so much love to give, yet no one to give it to." While others are feeling as though the world would be a better place without them here. But know, all those thoughts are all from the enemy.
Any situation or feeling that makes you uncomfortable, know that it’s God keeping you there because He needs you to grow. You can’t grow and prosper once you have become complacent, and that lonely feeling will only start to weigh more until you realize you are never alone.
He will NEVER leave you, nor forsake you, He just needs you to realize that.

The moment you feel you have to explain your value or what you bring to the table, you aren’t done healing, it’s only the pain that’s speaking. Telling someone what you bring to the table, yet you’re stilling allowing the one that’s hurting you to sit at that table only defeats the purpose of explanation and that’s when they’ll take advantage of you.

Through all of our creativity God is using as His masterpiece, but it is us that must learn to communicate through great divinity. We have the freedom to create because He gave it to us. We can’t sit and hope, it’s about the grind and the hustle working in faith as we keep going and never giving up. It’s about building that industrial genius just like the Eiffel Tower or the statue of Liberty. The Eiffel tower now symbolizes love and Lady Liberty holds the torch to freedom. Liberty means the freedom or power to do, think, speak, or choose as one pleases. We live in a world where many want to take that away from us, making us believe we are just surviving instead of living. She symbolizes the battle from strife to strength. I don’t know what life was like back then, but I can see how her son captured all of her glory from the pain.

Dr. Don St. John shares with us his journey through childhood trauma, developing PTSD, and how this journey led him to the man he is today.
Don St John, Ph.D., author of Healing the Wounds of Childhood and Culture: An Adventure of a Lifetime
Very early on in his educational career, Dr. St John realized that the “box” of traditional
clinical psychology and psychiatry were too small to hold all the tools and concepts needed for his healing. He’s forever grateful he searched outside that box. Over time, he encountered not just tools and techniques, but different schools of thought, both novel and derived from wide-ranging sources. Decades of exploration led him to construct a view of healing, purpose and human potential that includes four essential and interrelated components: the Somatic (Body), the Psycho-Emotional, the Relational, and the Spiritual.

It's about knowing the strength of weeds vs the strength of a tree. God will place adversity along your path so that you remember you are stronger and more powerful than the darkness or enemies you will face. All the people who treated Jesus terribly, and how they thought it was funny, as they gathered others to see His crucifixion; little did they know that three days later they would tremble in fear as God allowed them to see Jesus rise from the dead. God is placing your enemies strategically.

It's about carrying our own cross up every single mountain that God places along our path. No, it's not easy suffering, nor is it easy pushing through all the pain. It may seem unfair, we may dislike every minute of what we cannot see, feeling as though this is more than what we can bear. I promise you; it is Him that is helping you carry your cross through every adversity.

Some may feel ever since childhood all they may remember is love running away. Love was never felt in return, feeling as though it was so easy for others to leave you, but it only crushed your soul more and more. The mind sinks so far into the darkness the only thing it was able to comprehend was doubt and the certainty that you were unworthy of love. When you have experienced childhood trauma or even as an adult, when you suffer from mental, physical, or emotional abuse, you only blame yourself.
Let go, let God take the wheel, because He is nothing but LOVE. The world will only show you conditional love, but God will show you unconditional love and what it means to be loved. Trust Him.

With all the problems and issues, we all face, the fight becomes bigger than the issue at hand. Winning the fight often blinds us from what was really wrong in the first place. We look for who will win verses what's right and sometimes tend to hurt one another, instead of being there for each other. Sometimes we spend too much time and energy holding on to the very things that God is purposely tearing apart, but we refuse to see it that way. Just release the pain and focus on what's really bothering you. If you can't admit it to anyone else, at least be honest with yourself. It’s your soul that is tired of bearing all the pain.

As often as we internalize our thoughts, every thought should be followed with the reminder of His ways our not our ways, his thoughts are not our thoughts, lean Not on our own understanding. The more we think, we try to paint a picture with ever thought which is why it often leads us into false reality. It's human to want to create the life you want based off of the things you see, but just because we see it, doesn’t mean it's part of our destiny.

God is about to shine His light so bright, those that are struggling to find their way through the darkness will see again. This race between mind and heart, the mind is always running ahead but it always runs in the wrong direction. The direction where doubt is the main thing the mind comprehends. God is building several lighthouses across these platforms, so we can be the light and give hope through humanities storms. He puts us through the fire in order for it to rain. This is your season premiere; be ready for the blessings and miracles you are about to see!

With every heartbreak, as painful and uncomfortable as they are, our wounds are testimonies for others. Each wound tells a story that someone else is struggling with. We often try to wear the armor of perfection hiding behind our smiles pretending to be ok. God gave us grace for imperfections, so why is it so hard to accept that we’re not always going to be ok? With God I realized He always eases the pain. He is the greatest teacher, healer, comforter, friend, and He gives great wisdom and understanding. He is your pot of gold at the end of each rainbow, He is the alpha and the omega, He is the beginning and the end. He is always in control, never stop seeking Him no matter what you’re going through.

There are many instances where someone can make us so angry or hurt us to the point it feels like we can't even see straight. As humans we all have a sinful nature and a sinful or ego nature. With every action there is a reaction, however, many will say, "I'm going to match that same energy." That is what we don't want to do. The key is to never allow others to move us out of alignment. When we are out of alignment, we react from brokenness. When mastering the instinct of strength, instinct is not something learned it’s a natural desire or tendency that makes you want to "act" a certain way. The natural desire is just pure evil. You know what you’re doing and there's a malice intent behind it. The tendency is our behavior coming from pain and hurt that’s speaking or reacting because we have not healed.

With many people and families hurting, feeling the absence of their loved one's presence it may at times feel hard to breathe. Although your grief may last forever, hold on to all your memories, as our memories are the one thing that death cannot touch. It's going to take a lot of work, especially unknown as to what's next. With the weight of the worlds sin and rebellion it has become too heavy, and we are experiencing the wrath of God together. Conquering adversity is where we give birth to our creativity. So many are afraid of what is coming next, the mass shootings, the natural disasters, so much violence. Dear God, what is next? How much more can we take? He is saying do not be afraid, as I have the whole world in my hands. God wants us to see with every bad there is good, even if you may not see the good in every trail and tribulation, know that it is being concealed for a reason. There are lessons we must learn, not all will be easy, you may not like how He is doing it; but as we know, life isn’t easy. Just as we all have free will we all have a choice. We can choose to dwell in our sufferings, or we can choose to seek why our adversities are happening.

With all the turmoil that continues to rise, it's getting harder and harder to escape fear. It's the fear of the unknown, as our minds have nothing to imagine, it only leaves a blank space. We all tend to look outward for all the answers, but we will never find the answer in man, only in God as He is our beginning and End. As the Earth quakes, unknown of what’s next, no matter the damage mother earth endures, she always brings new life.
With every death there's a birth and rebirth and God is creating that. Just like labor pains, the Earth is contracting as God is transforming all of us. With death rates are rising there are many hearts that are broken, lives torn apart with no direction, He is calling all His healers and lightworkers to help guide those in need to a better understanding of death and after life.

There are many who know the absence of someone more than they know the presence of someone. When was the last time you felt you just needed a hug? Or the last time someone gave you a hug that made you burst into tears because you didn't realize how badly you really needed that hug? It seems as though more and more employees are complaining about upper management always threatening their jobs, wanting to implement fear as their go to. Fear doesn’t drive results, it only drives the abuse of FMLA, the number of call offs, the nonchalant attitudes, and employees saying, "I'm only here for the paycheck." All it takes is humility. There is nothing wrong with treating others as your equal, and there is no need to make others feel as though you are above them or the need to threaten their jobs as an ultimatum.

With every tear you shed… every pain you feel, and every time your heart breaks, it is He who will understand and heal. Never stop seeking to understand your trials and tribulations and stop looking outward for all the answers. As we go through the storm's life throws as us, sometimes we may look at our parents or family members and think, how could you not reach out and help me.
You may say, I just don’t get it, or I don’t get how they can see that I am struggling and choose not to help me, "I just don’t understand." If you don’t understand, then why do you feel the need to be understood? God will present these storms in order for you to gain the understanding and while were in the midst of weathering the storm, we may not see it. Not everything in life is meant to be seen. Once we all stop looking outward and focus on what we feel inside... and lean on the faith that will get us through. It just takes work, dedication, and a lot of trust.

Out of all the things we measure, progress through life is not one of them typically…We measure how far we may be able to run, walk, or swim, and for those who are in school; grades are measured by knowing where you need improvement, and then by the next mid-term or report card, you’re able to measure your progress. What about our progress through life and where we have made improvements. It's like we forget to give ourselves praise when praise is needed.
Just as it's hard to look at ourselves in the mirror when we are doing something wrong… it's hard to look at ourselves in the mirror and say… I am doing a really good job! Take time to create a list as to what you have achieved or the things you have done right. Don't focus on what others may view as markers of success, focus on your areas of success, no matter how big or how small and write them down. When we focus too much on the when is this going to happen, we then move to making it happen, because we want it now! That pulls us out of proper alignment. Moving ahead of God trying to take the wheel ourselves, is why God will sometimes move in the opposite direction. Just as we have that double yellow line on the road indicating we cannot go around any car in front of us, no matter how slow they are driving, we must stay in our lane, otherwise there will be consequences. Again, it's the same with God, we sometimes can get too ahead of ourselves, and God will wake us up by re-routing us, setting up detours, and delays. It is still for our benefit because He cannot physically teach us himself. As we learn to embrace the struggles and see the lessons, soon the blessings will be revealed.

The ones we need to be afraid of are typically the ones we feel most comfortable around based off of what we see… good looks, nice looking smile, and charming…. So many people we see on person or on TV may look like they are living the greatest life, yet they're living in hidden misery…. We all think we're going to wake up the next day without giving it a second thought… victims of domestic violence don’t. they live their lives wondering if this day will be the last day. Just the thought of mainly only knowing fear is heart wrenching.
He will NEVER stop fighting for you… He will call many more of His chosen ones to help guide you, and He will continue to make you new. The victory, the strength, the power, and the courage are already inside of you… Just remember who you are.

Inner Childhood healing. It can be very hard to notice we have those wounds. Self-awareness can be the hardest thing to achieve. It's so easy to look at others because were on the outside looking in vs. looking from within. It’s easy to see what others are doing wrong, or what they should do, or what they should have done… but the main question is why is it so hard for us to notice it ourselves? It's about healing these wounds and creating alignment, creating that balance so we can grow as an individual. Never allow the enemy to take what's yours and never allow the enemy to make you feel as though you aren't worthy because that is exactly how they want you to feel. See them coming before they even get a chance to think about it. Always be 9 steps ahead of the enemy.

Some of you may find yourself struggling with loss or struggling to live life instead of just surviving through it. Our minds and hearts never seem to be on the same page, but through all the sorrow and pain, we learn to sow them together in order to reach our next chapter.

As women we go through so much, but yet, the number one thing we sometimes forget we have is our mental strength which is out of this world. We endure so much pain, chaos, turmoil, our jobs never stop. Our strength as women goes unnoticed sometimes and as women and mothers our jobs tend to be endless and thankless. We know what being tired of being sick and tired really is.

Sometimes we have to be mindful of the things we watch and listen to, if we fall into fantasizing about that life, we will never feel satisfied with our own. We have to be thankful for the things we already have and not compare our lives to others. We can have goals we wish to obtain, but never allow yourself to feel less than because you aren't there yet. We have to know when we're speaking from brokenness and not love. Redirect your focus in your relationships if you are feeling unsatisfied or ask yourself if you really want to be there and if not leave. You're never stuck

Life can be like learning to swim for the first time, or if you can't swim at all. We may get in the water, but as soon as that water touches our neck, and we can't really feel the ground anymore we panic. God and the universe work the same way. We cannot focus on what we cannot see once we can't feel our feet touching the ground. When God is taking us to a place and we have no direction, He is putting us in a position to test us and our faith. Let go and watch just how far He takes you.

At times when we're hurting, we may choose to try and hurt others, or say horrible things because it's the pain and brokenness speaking and not them. When we are full of ego and pride, it's harder to express how we feel, because the fear of judgement, so some people try to justify being rude, they're hurting. All we can do is pray for them.

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter. God has infinite wisdom of all things. He gloriously acts without revealing His purpose, seeking counsel, or exposing matters to public scrutiny. Kings are much different.

That inconvenience makes us feel funny. It's not comfortable, I don’t believe any of us are fans of inconveniences, but we embrace the inconveniences that come along because we know when challenges and inconveniences come that means change is coming and it's going to be good… start getting excited… but also use discernment…

Vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness. Just because the world is afraid of being vulnerable society sees it as a weakness. Stand your ground and refuse to be anyone else but you.
The trials and tribulations that we endure, the older and wiser we become, we learn to embrace those times. Now is the time we reap the rewards for surviving those times.
Different point of views from the civilian side vs. the military side. We have the propensity to compete instead of compromise and we can sometimes victimize ourselves and win the sympathy instead of trying to understand one another.
Life is all about strategy, but we can't get stuck in the distractions that life throws at us. Stop worrying about what others have or what others are doing, look to God to navigate your life and not feel as though you have to figure everything out by yourself.
Society finds more value in artificial things or people than they do when people are being their authentic selves. It's as if love is a fear of being different or not being accepted, where is the authenticity of love? Genesis 7:24
As we go through tough times, we look for inspiration and motivation in order to make it through. However, we have to be mindful and use proper discernment, so we aren't constantly seeking instead of receiving.

Success is far from easy, it's not handed to any of us, because it's achieved! All you need is trust
Humanity can forgive an animal, quicker than they can forgive a human. Just like animals have a predator and prey, humans have a light and dark side. Humans have a natural instinct to react because we all have a dark side, however, that dark side is only sleep. Once someone is pushed to the edge or pushed to the point of insanity, no one asks what happened in between. Livelihood is not a playground.

Seeking validation leads to discouragement and finding what triggers that need is key. Dysfunction does not equal love. The easier sex became; the harder love is to find and actually keep.
Most of life's greatest lessons are learned through pain and hurt. Holding on to relationships and past hurts cause the most pain. However, we sometimes prolong our own suffering because we aren't being honest with ourselves and doing the proper work. Don't create placeholders, be true to the desires of your heart.

Be sure to thank the enemy for always trying to kill, steal, and destroy. I want to discuss black history, as it is more than just slavery. Black History tells a story of our strength that was gained not only through our faith, but our ancestors, what they endured, what they accomplished, and how they were never given proper credit.
Often times, we may find ourselves in situations where people are being mean or may have a horrible attitude towards us. However, we cannot allow them to enter our energy, we have to learn to just let people be mad if they want to be mad but be mad over there and leave me out of it. Always protect your own energy.
