“Now What’s Happening”, was created by Corinthus Alston and Leon Wilson, during the year of 2020. We have known each other for many years, more than I would like to admit. 2020 was very challenging in many ways, it was the year of Covid, but it was also the ending of the Trump years. We were on the road to the next Civil War, with the “Black Lives Matter” movement gaining strength after a host of the police murders of young black man, and then came Covid.
We went from a year of revolution to the year of death. And then, if that wasn’t enough, the attack on the US Capital, “The Insurrection”. And through all of this family and friends started dying and we couldn’t even go to the funerals. We couldn’t hold our relatives hand and be with them through very difficult times. The order was shelter in place, we stop shopping, stop going outside, everything was delivered and things changed. Through this time Corinthus and I would speak on the phone daily. We had so many conversations about so many different things, and that’s how this video podcast was created. It was an effort to tell the stories of what happened, but use those situations as teachable moments to help us with what’s happening today and prepare us for tomorrow.
In this episode we look at the why do we celabrate Christmas and what is the true meaning of the season.
On this Episode of Now What's Happening, we want to focus on gift giving in the holiday season. Yes Christmas is almost here and everyone is expecting that gift or gifts.

The New Norm
How do you get back to Normal with Covid still causing deaths amongst the non-vaccinated and vaccinated. How to rebuild and create new relationship while trying to stay safe and go back to doing the things you did before the pandemic.
Businesses are closing early. Fast Food places are offering bonuses after working 60 days. Starting salaries are jumping from $8 to $15 an hour and still businesses can’t find workers. Entrepreneurism has become the new norm for some workers.
