As Jess was reading through the Psalms and preparing for studies, she found that the word “confident” was reoccurring, and when she finally chose Psalm 27 to dive into with us today, “confident” appeared once again. God wants us to be confident in Him, in His word and in the victory that He holds. Psalm 27 is intimacy with God, being in His presence, and it’s expecting, hoping and trusting in Him!

We need to armor up in Christ and in His word so that we are prepared and ready to face these battles. In Romans 8, Paul says something simple, yet so powerful: "If God is for us, who can ever be against us?" Goliath may have been covered in bronze armor, but David's faith was in God, and he was covered in the Holy Spirit, and so are we.
