Are you currently unhappy and wondering if you will ever get your happiness back? Here's the first thing I would like you to know: your life may have been full of challenges, trials, heartaches, and tough situations, or it hasn't turned out the way you envisaged, and you lost your happiness. As a result, you can get it back. Jesus speaking in Mark 9:23, said - If you can! All things are possible for one who believes. In other words, everything is possible for one who believes.Â
RESOURCES
Have you ever thought or said to yourself, "I'm not good enough," "I can't do this, because it's too difficult or I think I will fail?" That was a self-limiting belief holding sway in your mind.Â
Limiting beliefs are false or negative opinions you have about yourself that restrict you in some ways.Â
RESOURCES
The Bible is full of the promises of God, which are meant to give us comfort, peace, joy, and hope. Scripture affirms that God's promises are yes and Amen. In other words, we can count on these promises and be confident that God is both able and faithful to fulfill every one of them.Â
Have you discovered for yourself what God's promises are?
RESOURCES
Are you currently struggling with feelings of disinterest, low mood, and low motivation, or you're doing the barest minimum daily just to stay afloat? Now you're asking yourself, "Am I lazy or depressed?"Â
You're just at the right place to get the answers to your question. By taking a good look at the the likenesses ad differences of laziness and depression.Â
RESOURCES
If you've tried to believe in God, but can't. Or you fear you're beyond saving and you've concluded that you don't have a saving faith; here's what I would like you to know: none of us can produce faith. If we have genuine faith, it came as a gift from God. The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9. For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not of ourselves; it is the gift of God.Â
If you're that person who wants to believe in God, but you're having a hard time doing that, Laysha goes over steps on what to do when you genuinely want to believe in God but can't:
RESOURCES
To a depressed person, life and hope often seem hollow. And it feels like God is distant and cares more about other people and things than you. I've been there, so I understand how toxic depression is and the extent of damage it does. Thankfully you're not alone in this struggle. God is with you every step of the way. In Isaiah 41:10, He says - Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Having battled depression myself and overcame it, I'm here to help you get answers if you're among the over 280 million people worldwide battling persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, anxiety, low energy, poor appetite, trouble sleeping, and any of the other symptoms of depression. Especially if you're at a loss on how to ask for help. Knowing who and how to ask for help when you're depressed is critical to overcoming and recovering completely from it.
Here are 5 tips on how to ask for help when depressed:
Seek God's Direction.
Reach Out to Someone Who Understands What Youâre Going Through.
Don't Wait. Go for the Help You Need.
Practice Asking for Help.
Consult A Therapist
You're not alone in your battle against depression, neither do you have to go through the experience alone. Asking for help is certainly not a sign of weakness. The important thing to note is that there's a way out of the darkness of depression. YYou should also know that healing can take time, so I encourage you to be patient with yourself.
While some people are a blessing and beneficial to our lives, others do more harm than good, are bad influences, toxic, and need to be cut off completely from our lives. I've had different kinds of people in my life. I have had those who have tried to entice me to sin and go down the wrong path. I've also had those who pretended to be my friends, but they slandered me behind my back. The last category is those who are out-rightly toxic. Toxic people are those the devil uses to accomplish his goals in our lives. They destroy our happiness, morals, confidence, relationships, and walk with God. Â
If you think you can manage everyone in your life and not cut anyone off, I tell you this: you can't. You must let go of certain people in your life when it's necessary to do so.
RESOURCES
Perhaps you're wondering if you hate your husband or if you're simply depressed. You should know marriage has ups and downs, which are natural. If you feel despair and hatred for the husband you once loved, and it's impacting multiple areas of your relationship and connection, from sex to communication. In that case, it is possible you are depressed. Something else could also be responsible for this feeling.Â
RESOURCES
If the famous words of Mick Jagger and the Stones, "I can't get no... satisfaction."
"Satisfaction is the act of fulfilling a need, desire, or appetite, or the feeling gained from such fulfillment. Satisfaction means you've had enough â in a good way. When a product says "Satisfaction guaranteed" it means you'll like it or they'll give you your money back." Satisfaction can seem to be like joy on some many levels. But, it's not. Joy is sustainable.
RESOURCES
Imperfections come with scars which are a reminder that something terrible happened. Scars are physical or emotional. The emotional ones are deep, and they are not easy to detect.
RESOURCES
How to Deal with Weariness
In this episode, I invite you to continue trusting in the Lord anytime you start finding it so hard to wait on the Lord. Also, I share with you why God is always present to encourage those who put their trust in Him. Having a life full of joy in every season is absolutely possible. Keep calm and wait on the Lord!

Should I Be Manifesting As A Christian?
The devil has been twisting the word of God, poisoning the truth. Nowadays, there is a term that has recently become popularly called manifesting.
Manifesting means that if we believe in the law of attraction and focus on what we want, it will be given to us. Sounds somewhat innocent, but it is notâit is worrying since many churches and believers have adapted this thought as truth.
In this episode, my mission is to explain why weâas Christiansâshould not be manifesting and what the word of God says about it.
Remember, God is not a genie in a bottle. He is our father and creator.
Blessings!

God sent us to this world to fulfill his purpose. However, this busy world, sometimes, can make us lose it.
The key to staying focused is to seek God's wisdom through prayer, reading his word, and congregation.
When we lose focus, we are vulnerable to falling into temptation and evil desires that can lead us to sin. Let us remember that the lust of the flesh, eyes, and the pride of life come from the world and not from the Father. That is why staying within the path of God will prevent us from sinning.
Let us seek God's wisdom the same way we look for money.

Praise and worship are vital to the relationship between God and His people. Throughout the Bible, God's love for those who praise Him is made clear. In fact, the Lord says in Psalm 22:23 that those who "declare His glory among the nations" will one day "declare His righteousness" (Psalm 22:23). In addition to being an expression of our love for God, worship is also a declaration of trust in Him. We can trust that God will uphold us when we're weary.
In this episode, I discuss the benefits of praising and worshipping God. It helps put our faith in God, gets us out of our comfort zone, involves sacrifice, celebrates God and signifies surrender. I also share some insights on why it is difficult to praise and worship God especially when going through hard times. Tune in to learn more on this and other exciting topics!

When you give, you're giving away something that's valuable to you: your time, your money, your talent, and skills, or even just your emotional support and care. You're sacrificing something in order to help someone else.
But when you do that â when you give â you're also getting something back. Something that can make the world feel like a better place for everyone. Some call it "joy." Others call it feeling connected to other people and to the world around them. Still, others might think of it as gratitude for everything they already have in their lives.
Todayâs episode is about giving and selling generosity to reap joy. Tune in as I share with you some lessons from the scripture about giving, the tips on how to give, and how this can help you be like God.
