I am no merkaba expert, however, there are plenty of excellent sources including Ascension Magick by Christopher Pennczak. This is based on my own outer-standing and inner-standing of the merkaba which I am drawn to working with, through my inner guidance rather than following prescriptive text or procedures. |I have a knowing of how to work with it, which is hard to explain, why and how I do.
