We relive the highlights of Gordon Farmer's book launch of Made With Coal which gives an overview of his life's work portraying the greats and the good of Wales.
The event included the premiere of the short film Voices From Underground, Claudette Evans performing her musical interpretation of local Curlers & Coal poet Kevin Bryant, Richard Keen for his musical performance and mining heritage exhibition, and the Welsh politician Huw Irranca-Davies drinking Toe Nail wine!
You have to see it to believe it !!!

STB recently met with the Youth Mayor of Bridgend borough Xander and some of his young fellow politicians at the Youth Fair held at Evergreen Hall.
We were happy to learn all about the Deputy Youth Mayor G who has been making great waves with his LGTBQ + work with YPOP

The Lads & Dads group recently went for 12 consecutive cold water dips in one day to highlight the statistics that 12 men are taking their own lives every day!
In this video, we ask them why the group exists and what swimming and unity mean to them.
We even drink mushroom coffee, but to find out the effects of that you have to watch this video!

Lena Charles of the Garw Valley turned 104 and Mike Church was fortunate enough to celebrate the day with her and her family listening to Lena recount stories from her rich life so far.

Russel Farmer is a self-taught artist living in the Garw Valley and in his own words he is still painting his own childhood.

Lisa Tame's Care Story
Mike Church talks to Lisa Tame as we hear her story of how caring for her grandfather with dementia lead her to a career as a carer working at Bryn Bryn Care Home.
Another very interesting part of her story is how they started using Virtual Reality in the care home to help residents with dementia.
This is just the beginning for Lisa as we will hear much more from her and her colleagues doing such a great job.

Laura Evans is a Mindfulness teacher, Health & Wellbeing Coach and very much a part of the Ogmore Valley community in South Wales even though she does not live there anymore.

John has organised a fundraising event that will involve Lee Dukes from Bridge FM and the well-renowned comedy stage hypnotist Ray Ronson.
In fact, John actually shares a very funny experience of when he was hypnotised himself in such an event!
