It's Black Friday and that means sales, sales, sales! But with everyone participating, how can you make sure you're getting a good deal, and how can you be certain you're supporting the right brands?
This week's episode focuses on exactly that and dives into how Black Friday sales could be misleading, what PR has to do with that, and how to spot corporations that might be communicating contradicting values.
As promised, here's the Which? article that analyzed Black Friday sales and found very interesting results:

Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp suffered a global outage earlier this week which left users unable to use the platforms for more than 6 hours. How did that affect the platforms' reputation, and how did other brands react to what was happening?
This episode answers both of those questions by discussing the importance of one's reputation and the fun aftermath of crises.

Marvel's first Disney+ show was a success for many reasons, and in this episode, we explain the ways PR played a role in the hype and praise the series received.
In the episode, we discussed the many sitcom references the show includes, wondering if Marvel needed to get any rights to do that. Based on online research, we did not find anything that suggested they did that; in fact, WandaVision's director mentions in an interview that their aim was to simply recreate the style of the shows in an authentic way. If you do know more about this, feel free to reach out and we'll mention it in a segment on our next episode!
