Welcome to Kin + Tonic, a podcast created by three young Black women who are following our paths by exploring expansive truths about who we are and embracing where we’ve come from. As we begin to build a better future for ourselves, individually and collectively, we passionately preserve and celebrate Black American culture every step of the way.  Our hope is to build a community where we are all students, leaders, and keepers of our traditions.

In this special teaser episode, we're introducing the who, what and why of our podcast. Our hosts explain who we are, how we found each other, and how we found our way to the vision that ultimately became Kin + Tonic.

We're so glad that you found us, and we hope you'll stick around for our first season. Together, we will explore with contemporaries, cultural workers, elders, and ancestors who have cultivated and preserved the garden of our legacy. With its fruits, they made a tonic. Let's take a sip.
