I am intentionally working on slowing down the pace of my life so that I can be present for the life I am actually living. NOW. Today. Not one day or another day but To-Day.
The day's are going to pass at lighting speed regardless. So why not sit in the moment and enjoy the meal in front of me? Drive my car in the slow lane. Walk for the enjoyment of hearing my feet sink into the moss underneath my feet in the forest that I am walking through? Be in the conversation I am having versus thinking about where I have to go next.
Connecting through being present in my own life. That's where this conversation is going and I'm ready for some more of this!
Come, share your story with me ... let's help one another to see there's more than one way of doing this thing called 'life'.

GUEST: Thomas Kindberg, my beloved husband
TITLE OF EPISODE: “It’s not just called DEATH CLEANING, It’s called LIFE CLEANING too.”
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
June 11th, 2024, marked a significant milestone for our family: Thomas and I proudly launched our Swedish Death Cleaning and Decluttering business, More Moss. Less Mess.
This dream has been a long time in the making, and now it's finally a reality.
Thomas prefers to stay out of the spotlight, shying away from public speaking and attention. Convincing him to join me on the podcast was a challenge, but I promised it would be quick and that I’d handle most of the talking.
My goal was to introduce you to Thomas, the other half of our business, so you could see what our team brings to the table.
Listening back, I realized I dominated the conversation, often speaking over him. While this is how we work—I’m more vocal, and he’s more reserved—I wanted to make him comfortable and keep the episode brief for his sake. Still, it was important for you to meet him again.
Our mission is to normalize Swedish Death Cleaning, turning it into a regular conversation rather than a daunting task. We aim to make the process of dealing with death less intimidating and more accepted as a natural part of life.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

TITLE OF EPISODE: Life’s too short to think too much.
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
As a self professed ‘overthinker’, I have been training myself little by little over these past few years to see things differently. To experience life from other perspectives and it has helped me to find MY joy. To re-member that FEELING IN will help me discover my truest purpose much quicker than over analyzing and ripping myself apart ever will.
Mental wellness for me comes when I am not in stress.
How do I keep myself out of stress? I live my life with my Top 3 Core Values front and center at all times.
Peace. Freedom. Community.
Do you know what yours are? If not, you also may be able to alleviate some unnecessary burdens in your life once you discover them and start living by them.
And if you are feeling unwell, physically, emotionally, spiritually…. please get help. Ask. Reach out a hand and do everything you can to take care of YOU.
We are not alone.

SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
Therese is a Swedish videographer that packed up her life, split from her hubby, took her cat and jumped in her converted van and moved down to Spain.
A year ago!! WAHH!!
Therese stands for FREEDOM, PEACE, AND COMMUNITY. Just like we do here at ‘More Moss to the People’ and she has grown into a more ‘in tune’ and aligned version of herself this past year.
You have to follow along to hear why she chose to leave, how she chose to do it, what was the backstory and what is her life's dream that drives it all.

GUEST: Angela Klemack Santos
TITLE OF EPISODE: Foundational Estate Planning Documents with Angela Klemack Santos, Esq.
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
My guest of honor this week is my sister in law, Angela. Angela is a practicing attorney in South Florida who just happens to work with Trusts, Estates and Tax Planning!
Wahh! You KNOW I love this kind of information and I wanted to invite her to come on and share her thoughts on what she feels are the Foundational Estate Planning Documents so we can begin preparing for our own end of life estate planning, NOW.
Keep in mind… it doesn’t matter if you have USD 20,000 or USD 20 million… we all need the basic estate planning documents in place.
We leave no mess behind. We get our ducks in a row. We speak to the people that can help us. We start to write our thoughts, wishes and wants down. We may buy a kit or we hire an attorney if we have a more complex situation but we get started NOW.
The thought of a random stranger making a decision about MY end of life is a horrifying one.
Let’s do this, OK? Let’s get started and PLEASE make your wishes known before someone else has to make the decisions for you.
This is Swedish Death Cleaning, at it’s finest, my friend. You are never alone. If you need support, reach out a hand to me. I am but an email away.
Xx,
Åsa
P.S. This may be an episode you need to listen to several times as the information may be new to you. But PLEASE don’t give up because it’s new, it’s IMPORTANT. I would even say VITAL to your future. And even if you don’t want to do it for YOUR sake, please consider those that will have to clean up your mess when you’re gone.
IN THIS EPISODE I DISCUSS:
-Who is Angela?
-Foundational Estate Planning Documents (for the USA), what are they?
-Designing an Estate plan, feeling settled now. Feeling peaceful now.
-How to start? Decide what’s important to you. Your values. What things do you want to leave behind?
-Last Will and Testament
-Revocable Trust - Re-titling assets to it today in order to avoid probate
-Durable Power of Attorney
-Advanced Health Care Directives
-Executors + Successors Trustees - what’s the difference
-Living Will
-What happens if you don’t have a person designated? What happens if you don’t have a Will written and you die? What happens if you have nothing prepared?
-The time is now. The peace of mind once these docs are signed, and they can always be changed/updated!
-What can be re-titled now even if you don’t have a Will in place?
-Real Estate Deeds, with Right of Survivorship. Or a Lady Bird deed.
-Financial accounts - Payable on Death or Transfer on Death
-Retirement and Life Insurance: Beneficiary designations

HOST: Åsa Nilsson
TITLE OF EPISODE: What do you think DIARRHEA and DECLUTTERING have in common? ‘The Great Purge’ of my body AND my business.
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
What do YOU think diarrhea and decluttering have in common? Probably not a question you’ve ever asked yourself but it’s a good question to ponder.
Our bodies purge poisons naturally (thankfully) and when something is out of whack or off kilter, the body attempts to remedy itself. A magical machine.
Well, knowing me, I will, of course, always question anything that is happening inside of me so today I went to a medical specialist to hear what is going on after 2 weeks of this happening. Diarrhea, that is.
He stated that there is simply a bug inside of my system that needs to pass through.
HA! I knew it! My Spirit Team was right! Yes, I check in with some of the best there are and I KNOW so much is happening in the Universe right now AND I wanted to still speak with a professional who specialises in belly problems. I am spiritual, not naive.
So my friend… do you agree that the time is NOW for ‘The Great Purge’ of things that no longer ‘suit’ us.
Whether that’s our bodies purging out whatever poisons don’t belong, purging papers and old ideas and thoughts for my business and starting with a new fresh slate.
OOOH, I just LOVE new beginnings... I always have.
Do you?

HOST: Åsa Nilsson
TITLE OF EPISODE: “I am…”. The breakup before the breakthrough.
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
I had a bit of an epiphany this week when Thomas said one simple line to me over breakfast, “I am not the star Åsa, you are.”
This set me off on a downward spiral of weird reactions and over the top ‘not enoughness’ so much so that I contemplated shutting everything down that I have created over these past 7 years on my social media feeds and the podcast movement.
In the matter of one simple statement from my husband.
Hmmmm, something is off. Or maybe something is RIGHT? Pay attention, Åsa.
Asking myself, who am I to speak about all of these topics on social media? Maybe I should shut this all down? I am spending my life on social media posting and writing content and sharing my heart and my life and what if no one actually cares?
Or even worse, what if I am embarrassing myself and my family and I don’t even know it?
I was brought back to a memory of myself as a young person who didn’t feel like my voice mattered and that I needed to stop asking so many questions. Stop talking so much. ‘Stop being who you are’ essentially.
Who do I need to break up with so I can fully integrate into my uplevel that IS occurring right now? The break up HAS to occur so the breakthrough can occur. An old version of myself that still believes that lie needs to go. Now. Facing my shadows.
“I am… “everything. And so are you.
If you don’t have people around you supporting that thought, or even if you YOURSELF don’t support that thought, then I am guessing you have some breaking up to do too.

TITLE OF EPISODE: “We leave our message behind, not our mess”
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
I spent all last week working with my ‘Ray of Sunshine’ on Phase 2 of getting him completely moved out of his Stockholm apartment so he can relocate back to the US.
The trust that Ray gives me, and the “free hands” to work in my own way to create the end result which he needed … makes me come alive.
Makes me sweat too, don’t think it's all roses.
There is an underlying pressure I still put on myself which I recognize when I “have” to rely on others. And when I start feeling like something is going sideways, how can I react in a way that is better suited rather than losing sleep over it?
I can start with gratitude (and having back ups for everything!). Saying ‘thank you’ to those people and myself more. When I do this, I feel myself becoming lighter. I feel my energy becoming brighter. I can feel more creative. Immediately. Saying the words to myself, “Have fun with this, Åsa. It will all work out. Trust others to show up and do what they promised.”
Trust. Trust. Trust. Working on it. #progressnotperfection

TITLE OF EPISODE: Staying in a beginners mind with my Swedish Death Cleaning
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
Tell me who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are.
At the end of our days, what do you think will matter the most?
The stuff we chose to hold on to for dear life because it made us feel good to look at and remember the moments that we have created with them OR will we remember the family and friends (sometimes one and the same) that we love the most and who have continually shown up for us during the most difficult times in our lives? Even when the shit hit the fan.
Especially when the shit hit the fan.
This episode is a practical summary of what I found when I got to Houston to ‘do the work’ with my beloved eldest sister who had hired me to come in from Sweden to do Swedish Death Cleaning and decluttering in her home after her beloved husband Jay passed away on Christmas Eve.
The best laid plans, my friend.
I am learning that I need to remain flexible, open, empathetic to all sorts of emotions. I can have an itinerary or game plan that is written in pencil, let’s put it that way.
Ahh, learning more and more every time.
Pay attention, Åsa. Stay fresh in Spirit and open minded and hearted in order to learn new ways of doing old things.
Hope you can learn something too.

TITLE OF EPISODE: Reckless or Bold? REVELATIONS from CHANIA, GREECE
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
After traveling to paradise (Chania, Greece) last week with my two girlfriends, I discovered something that has been elusive in my life as of late. Laughter. I mean, deep, soulful, tearful laughter. The kind that bubbles up so easily when you are with people you love and whose company you really enjoy.
Experiencing such simple beauty in the local people, the delicious food, the time spent having deep and long conversations about important topics like dreams, life, hopes, love and family.
What’s the most important thing in my life? My husband and our relationship.
Spending time together choosing our happiness first. Choosing to live life now. Not one day. Not allowing others to determine our lives FOR us.
No. Life is now.
Swim in the sea. Eat the food. Open your eyes and your heart. Trust that everything will be revealed in its due course. It always has. And it always will.
It’s my job to have the vision and to be clear, not vague or unconscious.
I am now North Star clear. Are you?

TITLE OF EPISODE: “I hand picked all of this. I had to say so many goodbyes”.
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
Meet my entrepreneur friend Erica. She has one of the most creative minds I know, runs her own company AND has made a bold decision to take a full time paying job!
Why is this important?
Erica is raising her son on her own, finishing up her studies and working on bringing in new business and watching her savings account dwindle.
That’s tough on a single mother, let alone anyone!
After 5 years, enough was enough. Erica’s nerves were shot and she needed some reprieve. Balance was needed and quickly!
Erica finds herself de-armouring her old ways and creating balance through creating good routines for herself. All scheduled so she can “float” in between.
Taking bold steps to create a life SHE wants… THAT’s so MOSSY of her!
IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS:
-Erica feels she is in her head and yet still uses a lot of her creativity.
-Finding balance has been a long process. From working in fashion for 20 years and having to be ‘on the game’, the stress was not far under the surface.
-Erica has a strong soul led side that was pulling her in another direction.
-Her own illness as a child, her sister and best friend dying, she had to search for a way to find a way to heal herself from the inside.
-Son was born and then she crashed into a wall. Went into a depression and saw she had to slow down.
-Darkness. She had to use all her tools to drag herself up.
-Moving from a human DOING to a human BEING. What does that mean?
-What does it mean for Erica to “Give Up”?
-Helping herself and her nervous system with taking a paying job WHILE she runs her own business. Not either or but an AND.
-Setting herself up with good routines and de-armouring her old ways.
-She now surrounds herself with the people she really likes and wants to work with.
-“I had to say so many goodbyes”.
-“We walk each other home”.
-Removing what is NOT you.
-Letting go of parts of herself that she liked. Why?
-“I feel like I have more when I have less”.
-Energy medicine, what is it?
-“You are the light. All of you. Just take away all the clutter”.

TITLE OF EPISODE: He’s a RAY of SUNSHINE!
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
From being away from my home, in a city I don’t live in, with few connections and no car… what was I to do when my new DEATH CLEANING client, who is a 93 year old dynamo, and who has more energy and stamina than I’ve ever had… says on day one that he wants to work quickly and get as much done as possible in our time together?!
Piles were stacking up fast and I had no place to put all the things and my car wasn’t arriving till Saturday.
And when it would arrive, not 1/10th of the stuff would fit.
So, what’s a girl to do?
PIVOT! Take action. Don’t spend too much time thinking, just do.
Something! Anything!
By releasing the pressure valve where necessary (no podcast episode last week) and ASKING FOR HELP of others.
And letting go of the yucky GOTTA DO IT ALL MYSELF.
Because really… I couldn’t do it alone!!
And, thank God, I didn’t need to.
Help is all around us. All we have to do is open our eyes and hearts.
IN THIS EPISODE I DISCUSS:
-Couldn't hack the pressure around getting it ALL done.
-Swedish death cleaning for a total stranger in their home.
-Remember: ‘Beginner's mind’
-Had to remove something off the plate of to do's. Podcast came off. I couldn't do it all.
-Saying ‘no’ rocks. Set me up for an excellent week so I could be present instead!
-Giving myself permission to say No.
-Physical labour is hard!
-Mistake of improper shoes.
-Compartmentalizing, piles, creating space.
-What did our week look like?
-Schedule, supplies, eating, drinking water, sitting down to eat.
-Layers of clothing.
-Tending to MYSELF every morning to start my day off right.
-Checking in to see how the client is feeling, any stories, stopping for stories, tears, AND silence.
-One decision maker.
-GOD moments of the week.
-Renting a car or truck.
-Stranger in someone's home, can I be trusted? Tested a few times.
-Take photos as you go to see your progress.
-Don't forget tip money.

TITLE OF EPISODE: WHAT’S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
There is something happening inside of me and I am not sure what it is but it feels like freedom is knocking. A coldness is dissipating into a warmness. A shell is cracking open and a flicker of light is shining in and it feels good. It feels like love.
What would love do? Does this look like love to me? Does this feel like love to me? If I truly want to share my love and heart with the world, then I can’t compartmentalise it any more.
Old patterns that are meant to be broken. By me and only me. Taking accountability for myself and my actions and my stories.
Otherwise they’ll be back yet again (and again).
What would love want to tell YOU today?
IN THIS EPISODE I DISCUSS:
- Good to be back in Sweden. Will I ever move back to the US?
- What is love?
- Looking for the exit door.
- Disconnected from myself. Choosing to stay safe.
- I’ve been the difficult one.
- Choose to show up with my heart wide open now.
- Love, what do you want me to know today?
- Responsibility to know everything. Have all the answers. Patterns.
- I am not enough, a recurring theme. Overcompensating.
- Helping people for free, that’s a self worth problem.
- How about embracing a beginners mindset instead, release the pressure valve.
- Stay curious. Ask questions.CEO actions.
- Trust that everything I need will be shown to me. It always has. TRUST.
- Those that don’t believe in magic will never find it.
- Allowing myself to accept love, be loved, process grief, hurts, shame, vulnerabilities.
- There’s no limit to love.
- Love myself first and most. THEN go out to the world and share from that place.

This week finds me getting over the last bit of a cold and you know I like to share some of my cures that we’ve been administering in this house since Thomas and I have both been ill. Perhaps you would like to try some of my dog water tea?

This year, 2024 turns into an 8 year in Numerology, the year of the Executive. What does that mean? For me it’s the year of being the CEO over my own life.

TITLE OF EPISODE: From modeling in LA to waitressing in NYC, what can a 21 year old possibly teach us old folks? HA! Just you wait.
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
I’ve known Lilly since she was a wee lass. I haven’t seen her in over 12 years and WOW is she is making her mark in this world.
How can a 21 year old be so wise?!
Her wisdom makes her a perfect guest for ‘More Moss’ as she shares easily how she chooses to navigate a life through true authenticity and accountability.
After leaving North Carolina at 19 to move to LA to model she quickly found herself in a dark place.
She chose to come back home to North Carolina, ground herself, get her head back on straight and start working towards her goal of moving to New York City.
So Lilly relocated to NYC then in July her life fell apart when her dear friend Aidan died.
What came next?

Opting in to look at our one beautiful life RIGHT NOW and determining for ourselves and preparing for what it is YOU would like the end of your life to look like, how can it be wrong, sinister or voodoo?
We are opening up the discussion to show that it is simply ‘yet another discussion’ albeit possibly the most important one you can ever start.

TITLE OF EPISODE: There's never been a better time to be in the now than now.
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
Finding myself in a place of understanding the truth and importance of Swedish death cleaning for my own life and seeing my own story and my own family from a new perspective, I see that the actual ACT of cleaning the home isn’t the ‘work’.
The true work is the conversations that come OUT of the decluttering and touching everything we have held on so tightly to.
Yes, they are my belongings, but WHAT are they to me?
‘Be’ ‘longing’ … what am I ‘longing’ for? What’s the purpose and function of the thing that I MUST keep? Why does it mean so much? Who told me it meant so much?
Maybe they are simply THINGS that signify a memory that means something. Perhaps it is the reason WHY these things have even found their way into my home to begin with?
Our lineage. Our family ancestry. The importance of belongings and showing of wealth depending on how MUCH you had and what is actually yours and not yours.
Old stories. Carried intentionally and unintentionally through the ages.
I am a chain breaker. I don’t want to ‘have’ belongings to be-long. No and I don’t need to.
Neither do you.
Have the conversations. Now. Don’t delay.
I love you.

TITLE OF EPISODE: “The Point of Power is Always in the Present Moment” - Louise Hay
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
After nearly 8 weeks in the US to be with my beautiful mother to “help” her, I discover (yet again) that the healing that comes from leading with love will always be a full circle accomplishment.
My mom couldn’t care less if her garage was straight. Or if her basement was tidy. She doesn’t get pressed by such unimportant things. What she DOES care about is having her family close to her.
I see now that a part of my life’s path was leading me to this very moment in time. That I was meant to come here to discover that my love of organizing and Swedish Death Cleaning is simply a piece of a much deeper meaning of my existence.
I KNOW I am good at those things but what I am ALSO good at is having tough conversations… with others.. not necessarily my own family of origin. I never would have discovered this had I not left my home to come here to “help” my mom.
Ha, she did it again, that little minx. Full circle moment. I just love those.
IN THIS EPISODE I DISCUSS:
-7,5 weeks here in the US, what have I learned?
- “Inte skall väl jag” - Swedish saying. What does it mean?
- Swedish death cleaning, travel to help my own ageing mother.
- Sit down with an estate attorney. Fix paperwork, talk through everything.
- Something done is better than nothing done.
- “You can fight over it when I’m dead.”. No, that IS not going to happen.
- Talking over memories and seeing how not one of us remember the same thing. Perspectives.
-Creating something new in my life NOW, in real time, by having hard conversations NOW. Work through the discomfort.
- Through getting out of my everyday routine, I experienced something beautiful and new.
- I thought I came to help my mother. It ended up that I also came to heal myself.
- Do I feel 100% in all areas of my life? Hell no!
- Fight, flight, freeze and fawn (Mark Groves), I have fled and fawned when feeling pushed.
- I believe we are here to work through what we keep pushing off.
-If I make myself invisible through self abandonment then who am I in the world?
- It’s a new day. Mindfulness practice. What can that look like?
- I want to look for myself as a part of something, not separate from everything.

TITLE OF EPISODE: "Uncovering Maslow's Pyramid and seeing what basic needs of mine are still not filled."
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
Ahhh, family time! Thanksgiving week in the USA!
This week I am looking in the proverbial mirror (yet again) to see what it is that is “triggering” me into childhood responses.
When put to the “test”, will I DO better?
After my sister introduced me to Abraham Maslow’s Pyramid of the 5 Core Needs which form the basis for human behavioural motivation, I see I am missing a few of the ‘core’ pieces.
Not for nothing, right? This is divine timing to be presented with Maslow, especially when I am witnessing the recurrence of mistrust and not feeling safe.
How can I see myself with an honest and gentle eye AND be thankful for everything I have that fills me?
What we look for we find.
I want to continue uncovering my old patterning so I can remember what is mine to work on and what is to be left behind. For good.
IN THIS EPISODE I DISCUSS:
-Thomas is here for the next two weeks. Family coming in. Thanksgiving celebrations.
-Dynamics, triggers. Acting out sideways. Reverting back to old actions and reactions? Something in each one of them.
-Safety and Security… trust is a big issue for me.
-“Looking for the good in others then I remember the good in myself.
-What am I willing to do about the missing pieces in my foundation? What is mine to do?
-Recognizing more quickly the ‘Old Åsa’ the ‘Ugly Åsa’. What’s the mirror? What do I need to see?
-“I am a work in progress and this is the journey of my life.”s.
-Am I doing the best I can? Probably not.
-Abraham Maslow, Hierarchy of Needs.
-The 5 core needs: Physiological, Safety, Belonging, Esteem, Self Actualization.
-Anything missing in mine to fix.

GUEST: JoAnn Higa
TITLE OF EPISODE: Can GENERATIONAL HEALING begin with us accepting and facing our own resistance?
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
Meet my beautiful friend, JoAnn Higa. Possibly one of the deepest and introspective individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting in a long while.
This gem is going through a catharsis of sorts, through discovering on a recent family voyage to the families “land” of Okinawa, Japan that a truth that she has felt in her body her whole life was in fact, true.
Can there be GENERATIONAL HEALING even after hard truths are revealed? Can we look at ourselves and our loved ones with softer eyes in order to experience the resistance so that we CAN get to the other side?
Listen in… with your heart and see where you can see yourself in this beautiful conversation.
IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS:
-JoAnn feels she is a bunch of contradictions.
-Looking at her generational healing.
-Our moms. Mine is 87 JoAnn’s is 86. Honouring our mothers.
-JoAnn’s most recent trip to Okinawa with her mother and what she discovered about herself, especially when she returned.
-The importance of witnessing and being a part of a family gathering.
-Old memories, old traumas for her mother and herself.
-Something about the tie to the “land”, the war, traumatic for the people.
-Feeling the resistance, but why? What was it?.
“I wasn’t the joy parents hoped for”.
-“Regret, helplessness, vulnerability. I can feel it now. I view this as the beginning of healing.”
-Her mothers whole story, the explanation. The picture is getting clearer. Trusting myself.
-“I am integrating right at this moment. Generational healing starts with me.”
-Not going to ignore feelings. Resistance. Tend to that ‘little one’.

TITLE OF EPISODE: My AMAZING One Year Anniversary and Summary of ‘More Moss to the People’, the podcast, the movement.
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
How do you sum up one year of your life? Let alone the best year of your life?
I had no clue what was ahead of me when I started down the road of podcasting.
I didn’t know what my Voxer conversations with my friend Angela would mean to OTHERS.
It’s not only about us and what we thought we needed. It is so much bigger.
We were willing to start thinking about slowing our own lives down.
I was willing to talk to people about how THEY slowed down because I needed models.
I had to understand my OWN part in trying to ‘keep up with the Joneses’ … especially after I realised I didn’t even WANT to be LIKE the Joneses. And who the hell are the Joneses??
What did I need?
Enter my beautiful guests and my own open and truthful unveiling of my heart.
IN THIS EPISODE I DISCUSS:
-How did More Moss to the People come about?
- I was living a hectic, harried life with no direction. How can I learn new ways?
-’More Moss’ is about coming back to Self.
-Sweatshirts, MERCH. We still need these!
-I am safe. Why is this important to me?
-Running away to Sweden, starting over, run from chaotic life, why did I keep creating this? The mirror.
-I am the problem.
-What’s more interesting than trying to be a million dollar life coach?
-Listen in and sniff out the clues. How hard can it be?
-What are the TRUE numbers of a real podcaster?

GUEST: Wendy Wright of Light Always Wins
TITLE OF EPISODE:"A Journey Through the Underworld and Remembering Who I AM."
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
In 2019, after tragically losing her mother, Wendy’s soul shattered into many pieces.
Feeling lost, she did a Winter Solstice meditation that initiated a 3-day journey of remembering.
While there, she had a mystical experience where her fragmented soul pieces (and intuition) were restored and she was shown through her crown chakra all sorts of spiritual information that she had no knowledge of in the past. She was Re-Membering. She was shown a peek into her soul and the mystery of life.
Wendy feels she experienced her gnosis… her soul ‘knowing’.
Wendy now works with her gifts, sharing them with others as a part of her own healing.
Even through tragedy, our inner LIGHT must never be dimmed.
Why? Because the Light Always Wins.

TITLE OF EPISODE: “Knowledge is enlightenment and enlightenment is the gateway to change.”
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
This week’s guest is a witchy woman who has officially outed herself in her churchy little town in Australia where she is now considered the local psychic, channeler and Halloween advocate!
We know I LOVE a human that dares to show up as themselves when it’s easier not to, especially in a small town where the risks are higher.
Melissa de Jong is a deeply spiritual gal that TRUSTS what she feels and knows as she applies her tool box of reiki, the akashic records, channelling and tarot cards to clear out energies in people's homes that no longer belong. So cool!
The stories of our homes lie in the walls, my friend. And the home doesn’t forget.
I asked Mel to do a reading on my home and my land (remember, I live in Sweden) and she knocked my socks off.
You are going to love her! She is definitely doing the things that her heart is calling her to do.
Enjoy!
IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS:
-Australians shorten everything, Melissa quickly became Mel
-Mel works with Reiki, Akashic readings and Tarot readings
-Mel is American, came to Australia via Israel where she met her hubby and never returned
-Mel and I honour the 1300 Jewish people who were murdered on October 7th
-Mel lives in a small church town where she is now the local psychic, channeler and Halloween advocate!
-Huh? Halloween is considered The Devil’s Birthday?
-”I am the beacon of light for people like me.”
-What are the Akashic records and how does Mel work in them to clear your home?
-What do Land Assignments mean?
-Mel helps you discover what's truly going on in your home. What’s yours, not yours?
-“Knowledge is enlightenment. Enlightenment is the gateway to change.”
-Putting a kink in the chain of the looping that is your brain, by shifting the energy.
-”We can disarm people through wisdom.”
-By working on the energy in your home, you will also be working on your relationships with everyone in the home! A WIN WIN!
-Mel homeschools her children as well as runs her business out of her home.

TITLE OF EPISODE: Try to love one another right now, especially in these precarious times.
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
These times are troubling, for sure. What with all the horrendousness that is happening in Israel and all over the world. It is enough to make this empathic gal nearly shut down.
Yet, I must not. This isn’t the time for shutting down. It is the time for rising UP. To help HOWEVER I am able.
Can I change the fighting in Israel or in the Ukraine? NO, it isn’t my fight and I am not truly able to understand what is really happening there as I am dependent on the “NEWS” for that information. These are old fights that literally have nothing to do with me YET… can I do something? Anything?
Yes.
I can look at my own home, my own ‘village’, so to speak.
Where can I reach out a hand to someone I know is alone, or lonely, or needs a shoulder or SPACE to speak?
I can lend a helping hand to my ageing mother who needs help organizing and decluttering her home, and most of all, she needs company.
“Come on, people now. Smile on your brother. Everybody get together. Try to love one another right now. “ (Get Together, song by Chester Powers).
Am I insane to think that brothers (and sisters) can ‘get together’. Maybe.
Is it impossible?
No.
Peace and love,
Åsa

GUEST: Tirza Schaefer
TITLE OF EPISODE: Can UNAPOLOGETIC SELF-EXPRESSION bring you from Exhaustion to Freedom?
SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
Tirza is my friend that HAPPENS to be an author of over 30 books!! Most are steamy romance novels!
Wahh! She is opposite of me in so many ways, yet we connect like two peas in a pod. My need for structure and her need for spontaneity, it simply works.
Tirza is one of my biggest supporters in this ‘More Moss to the People’ movement and I want to introduce her to you, so you can get to know her as a person and her work as a professional author and Goddess Facilitator.
She has had quite a journey and was a self-professed drama queen in younger years.
“I found inner peace, and I wouldn’t give that up again for the world.”
Yes, let her be … to write her steamy novels and work as a Goddess Facilitator and spiritual teacher. Tirza has so many gifts to share with us all and you are going to love her ‘matter of fact’ point-of-view on the top three super TABOO TOPICS (sex, money and death).
Enjoy!

SUMMARY OF EPISODE:
Åsa has now been doing her own version of Swedish Death Cleaning in her home and the best laid plans have gone to hell in a handbasket, and quickly.
Proving yet again that a ‘plan’ is only a plan when the reality sets in to what kind of work and TIME it actually takes to do this process. So what’s a gal to do?
ANYTHING. Start small. Even if it’s an hour and you only have a bag.

So when is the ‘best’ time to speak of death, if not now?
I have been ‘thinking’ about getting my important documentation started/ re-done for so long now that it’s quite embarrassing. I can blame it on the confusion of living in Sweden and still being a citizen of the US. But really?
It’s time to have these uncomfortable discussions NOW and I’ll start it because I do NOT intend to leave my loved ones with a mess.
Follow along as I decide how to tackle this death cleaning in my own home.
Let's see how often I say to myself, "Maybe I should hold on to it... just in case." Ugh.

Title of Episode: Moving from OutSourcing to SelfSourcing. What drinking less has shown me in 5 weeks.
Summary of Episode:
I am now half way through my 9 weeks of skin medicine and being told that drinking was “off the table” otherwise the meds would not work.
What did I discover about myself when I was given a directive of, ‘You can’t … ‘
What have I now been shown in this time about how I feel? Freaked out? Feeling like I am missing out? Feeling any peer pressure?
Nahhhh. Complete opposite.
I feel fantastic.
What has become apparent is that I needed something outside of myself to shove me in the direction I already knew I needed to go in. I was given the answer that I asked for.
See how I OUT-SOURCED my answers when I could have SELF-SOURCED?
Ahhh, the journey continues.

THE THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS IN THIS EPISODE ARE SOLELY MY OWN. If you feel you have addiction issues, please go seek help. You deserve it. Xx.
Alcohol has slowly been creeping more and more into my day-to-day and I am officially over it.
Gross little drug that when used properly is lovely.
When used in excess, causes hurt, shame, sickness, broken families, embarrassment and guilt. And that’s on a good day!
Listen, I am ALL IN for celebrating life but what has happened slowly but surely in my life is that every day drinking has become completely and totally normalized…. now THAT is no bueno for me because I don’t like the way I FEEL.
Perhaps balance is possible? Maybe it isn’t. Only way to know is to look at it and talk about it. Without shame. Maybe you can relate?

Guest: Bella Miller
Summary of Episode: Bella already has a lifetime of experience in her toolbox. She teaches yoga, reiki, meditation, works full time in strategy management, is a published author, and, oh, by the way, did I mention she is 24?
Put on your OLD PERSON FACE now …
“Young people today… they are so entitled.. they are so used to getting everything they want, they have always been told they can have everything.” Queue eye roll. “Are these the people that are going to be running our country when we get into retirement age?!?!”
If Bella Miller is any indication as to the complexity and genuineness of the young people's minds today, then I say we are going to be in safe hands.
How can we encourage deeper discussions in order to understand ONE ANOTHER more?
The disparity of the ages doesn’t have to be what separates us… it can be what binds us.
Opening up the lines of communication with the younger generation will only serve to help us all.
And man! These kids are smart! Much smarter than I ever was. They have the world at their fingertips, so what responsibilities come with that?
Let’s let Bella speak. I believe her. You will too.

Title: How discovering Numerology and changing her name made Novalee Wilder come alive.“Spirituality should validate, not alienate”.
Summary of Episode:
Experiencing life through frequencies and numbers is exactly what Novalee Wilder, professional numerologist, does, today. Her life wasn’t always like this though.
In this episode we discussed everything from the different systems of numerology to name changes and how you can use the numbers of your birth day and birth year to see what your soul wanted to explore in this lifetime.

TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS EPISODE:
-Every podcast appearance is a rehearsal for Oprah.
-Didn’t feel safe to express herself in her family of origin.
-Numerology connected her creativity with her intuition.
-The only mistake I can make is to limit myself”.
-Pythagorean vs Chaldean Systems of Numerology.
-How numbers are assigned
-Chaldean system is a more complex system and takes years of working 1:1 with teachers.
-The Top Two most important NUMBERS to know:
Your First Base Number, which is the digit sum of the day you were born without adding the month or year. The digit sum of just the day. Ex. My birthday is the 17th of July. So I add 1 + 7 = 8. This is my First Base Number. If your birthday is 5 or 9 then you use that number since it is already a single digit.
Your Second Base Number is the digit sum of the YEAR you are born. Ex.My birth year is 1967. So I add 1 + 9 + 6 + 7 = 23. Reducing it to a single digit sum 2+3 = 5. So my second base number is 5. Get it?
-All the systems connect to the core truth of you.
-Novalee tests new systems all the time to see how they correspond with Numerology and her lived experience. Everything comes back to Numerology and numbers, even Feng Shui.
-Tarot is the tool that has been around the longest. Make sure you check the traditional meanings of the cards since some of them have changed over time.
-Name vibrations and name changes.
-Novalee’s story about how she decided to change her name through a Numerologist. “I changed my name and it changed my life”.
-Legacy she wants to leave behind. Through her Numerology School she discusses ‘‘Queering Numerology’. We need to be gentle and sensitive to others. “Be careful touching it or putting a label on it”.

Title of Episode: Exhibiting courage ESPECIALLY when you’re feeling vulnerable.
Summary of Podcast: You can’t see but I am crying in this photo … when I was supposed to be relaxing in my meditation. It was nothing the teacher had done, she didn’t even realize I was in this state when she took the photo of me. I was in my own sadness bubble, self soothing, for the state of my lack of purpose at that precise moment. I needed to move the energy and I needed to move it quickly as I felt I was under a 50 pound weight. Tears needed to flow.
Being vulnerable and allowing my heart to be open up enough to hear what I didn’t want to hear, to feel what I didn’t want to feel, to be in a state of discomfort until I could get to the other side of it.
Jesus woman! You have GOT TO START ASKING FOR HELP!
Lie still, Åsa. Be still. Allow the feelings to come. Look at them. Speak to them. Ask them what they are here to show me, learn my lesson then allow them to pass.
I am safe. I am OK. I will not be abandoned. People want to help me. People want to give me the information I need so that I can create something they would NEED and WANT instead of me deciding that for them.
The best way for me to learn is to experience it for myself. And I am deep in the learning, my friend. Stay along for the ride.

“Most of us are asleep to who we really are. Don’t be afraid of that. Wake up. Don’t be asleep. It’s OK to discover this.”
Now in her ‘last half of life’, Jenn knows all too well how precious life is and how time and love matters most. By discovering more of herself through her Enneagram studies, Jenn is now “becoming who I was created to be” and leading the way for others to learn and to be themselves as well.
TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS EPISODE:
-Enneagram is a personality typology.
-There are 9 personality types.
-Jenn is now a Certified Enneagram Facilitator.
-Enneagram is ‘Ancient’ rooted back to 600 BC and was reintroduced in the early 1900’s + then 1960’s with new updated language.
-What is our core motivation, that is the crux of the personality types.
-Jenn doesn’t encourage you to get hung on the ‘titles’ of each number. The actual number is more readily understood around the world as the titles can differ.
-Jenn thinks it is best to do the work to discover your own number by reading and doing your research versus taking an assessment. But there are some assessments that are better than others (see below).

After being made redundant from his corporate career in 2022, Gagan went into a cycle of pain, depression, shame, guilt, fear, loss, negative thoughts and a sense of emptiness.
From picking up fights with co-workers … to researching how to commit suicide… to feeling at peace and in harmony with his life, (after only a few months) … Gagan is now determined to use the powerful techniques he has learned to manage his negative thoughts.

TAKEAWAY'S FROM THIS EPISODE:
1 Gagan's goal right now is to try to “save one Gagan at a time” from depression, anxiety, the dark places and having very dark thoughts.
His shadow message from a young child was “I am not enough”.
At the age of 40 he felt he had a hollowness in his heart and his shadow showed him he was an overcompensating workaholic.
Gagan went from being a Senior Exec earning $225,000 USD a year for 7 years to being made redundant and wanting to take his own life. He had forgotten who he was.
“I’m capable of being enough”.
After being in a dark place for 4 months, he chose to return to being a Self Development junkie… like he was when he was 13.
Gagan explains his inactive Box and how he uses this to inactivate negative thoughts.
Stop listening to the ego, shadow, history. Today he actively chooses to surround himself with 5-6 specific people to elevate his energy.
“The more you find yourself the more you serve the world.”
Top 2 tips are to journal and express gratitude in your daily life for everything.

Today, Tania helps other women reach natural relief for their perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
“Within every single woman there is a very clear intuitive part of us, which surfaces at midlife.”
I say YES to this! It appears, I became an ‘elder’ a looonnng time ago.
Instead of consuming more herbs, potions and medicines, perhaps the answer is already INSIDE us? By considering the nature of our thoughts, slowing down and reducing the stressors in our lives, we can tune into the wiser woman within.

2. ‘The Wiser Woman’s Guide to Perimenopause and Menopause’ is the name of her book. Within every single woman lies a very clear intuitive part of us, which surfaces at midlife.
3. Eight years ago, through the power of choice, Tania witnessed the spontaneous recovery of her own symptoms.
4. Many women do not understand perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause as a gradual change.
5. “Why would my body be getting it wrong?”
6. Tania discovered she was creating her stress by taking her life too seriously. Her body was creating the symptoms due to stress.
7. Her sensitive body was telling her to wake up from the path that was not serving her.
8. Once she had an insight about the nature of thought, all symptoms cleared up almost overnight.
9. If she returned to take the thought of “I’m not enough” seriously, her symptoms could return again.
10.We have an incredible guidance system within us longing for a gentler connection.
11. Konenki is the term for menopause in Japanese and we can see how it differs: a season of energy and change from the age of 40-60, graduating into an elder.
12. What a refreshing view point: moving from being deficient to a rite of passage.
13. The Beach and the intention to see without glasses is an amazing story. Going to the beach for expansive views.
14. By prioritizing time in her life to do nothing, by finding her bliss at the beach, and by healing her eyesight, the chapters of her book became apparent. This happened when she let go of the pressure.

Title of Episode: The Beauty of Balance and Belonging
Summary of Podcast:
Jenny is learning (again and again) how to balance her own time and energy. While having the best of intentions for creating a life she thought she wanted, by truly re-evaluating her own day (while being in LinkedIn jail) she was gently guided to the perspective she needed.

Facebook + Instagram: Jenny M Coaching
TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS EPISODE:1.Jenny moved to the US from Dublin Ireland 11 years ago with her 2 sons and husband. She is also a Personal Development Coach.
Re- discovering life's purpose though coaching changed her life.
Showing up a certain way on LinkedIn at first too, now realizes that she just needs to show up as herself and then people who like you will find you.
Jenny is fun and full of life and realized she can let go of people she isn’t fitting in with.
Glitches in LinkedIn platform as of late. Was sent to LinkedIn jail.
The worries at first of not responding to posts or losing people by not posting. Slave to the algorithm. You don’t need to post every day. Stay true to yourself.
Jenny with her 3000+ followers on LinkedIn, felt she wouldn’t matter to the heads of LI when she tried to get clarity as to why she was jailed. Her son showed her she did matter regardless of her account size. ‘You can always write a bad review’. Smart kid.
Time away gave her time to reevaluate how much time and energy she was giving LinkedIn. Where's the balance?
Her intention was good, to build something, no shaming, being gentle with herself. Evaluate and slow down. Don’t have to do ALL of this.
You can choose or not choose to pay attention. What do you think is missing?
What would I talk about if this was a post? Small changes make a big impact.
Futurescaping and in order to experience abundance we have to notice it.
Jenny will keep her clover and her Irish flags in her LI name and risk being slung in the slammer again. :)
Recovering people pleaser, does she feel the pressure to belong? Self imposed pressure. Constant comparisons of the kids starting at birth.
Son didn’t sleep for 5 years, colic, postpartum depression for 18 months.
Always feeling less than… (Girl!! Who can’t relate to this)?!
Belonging, conforming changed when she started volunteering in her community and it became about what does someone ELSE need.
Be yourself. We all belong. We are all worthy of happiness.

As a wee lass, I hated asking for help. Why? Because I didn't want anyone to know that I didn’t ‘know’. Perhaps this is the backlash of being the youngest of five siblings, I don’t know. See? I’m already doing better.
Going from judging myself for my self imposed ‘learning disability’ to discovering that it truly is so much easier just asking for help.
TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS EPISODE:1. As a young person I hated asking for help. Learn why. 2. Felt like I had to figure everything out by myself. 3. I divulge a deep dark secret about my lack of knowledge on grammar. 4. Never asking for help WAS my learning disability. 5. Working on judging myself for this turned into the knowledge of how I treat myself and others. 6. Tim Ferris quote: I come to you with my hat in my hand. 7. Sinead was positive she had a personality disorder… that was until she had her own birth chart read in 2020.

The story of how Thomas and I met (again), fell in love (in our 40’s) and got married after the age of 50. It’s never too late to find love.
How different we both are yet how close we have become.

My beloved doesn’t believe in social media (isn’t that awesome?) so he doesn’t have any social media channels for you to connect with him on. Don’t worry, I have enough of them so if you want to reach out to him via mine, you are welcome to do so.
Takeaway’s from this episode:
AN IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: Please understand what it meant for Thomas to sit with me and speak like this. The death of his parents has left a huge and deep scar that will never truly heal. For him to speak and share his story with you means a great deal to us (talk about getting out of his comfort zone).
We hope that his tragedy can help others to see that it is possible to get out from the darkness after surviving such a horrible experience. Even if it takes many years.
Thomas sharing his story would never have happened until he became more secure in himself and understood that HIS VOICE AND STORY MATTERS TOO. ALL of our stories matter! Don’t forget it.

Dana shares her truthful emotions around the build-up to her 50th birthday, and her potent plan to navigate her “expectation hangover”.
Dana is raw and real. She gives herself full permission to FEEL and excavate the depths of her emotions, and she helps other women come more fully alive by doing the same.
This rich conversation highlights the power of unraveling. It speaks to the deep sense of resolve and empowerment that comes with deeply honoring, expressing, and releasing our emotions. When we allow ourselves to sob achingly, we make space for the reclamation, that lies just on the other side.

“The self can not be developed, it can only be realized.” – Dr. Deepak Chopra
What if all that was required of us was to simply become ourselves? To realize ourselves versus working on becoming something we were never intended to be in the first place.
Åsa dives in sharing her own beliefs around past lives and soul groups. Instead of worrying about what others will think of her, she shares her true feelings openly, publicly, not asking for validation or acceptance. Instead, she chooses to show up aligned within herself. Loving herself first, loving herself most.
How and where can you do more of that?

Åsa poses the question: What if we didn’t need to add on more to have more? What if we actually needed to remove “things” so we could FEEL more? It’s time to re-connect.

Is STRESS tapping on your shoulder?
Story time of how Åsa discovered her own in-ability to recognize the stress she was under at work.
That was until her body started showing her the signs: not being able to swallow her food, psoriasis on both hands and feet, heart palpitations, tunnel vision and nearly fainting.
Something had to change. What was it to be?
Her.
