Najeeb and I met on a language app. His story inspired me to share it with others. He studied English Literature. Despite having a stable work as an interpreter for foreign forces, it was better to pursue other studies elsewhere. This is when he got a scholarship to Iran to do his Master's degree. However, things didn't go as planned. In this episode, Najeeb speaks to us about how his journey was from Afghanistan to Germany, the cultural differences, and the portraying mold he is trying to break.
Refugees stories are so much more than the pits and pieces we hear on the news. The overlapping journeys that start with sensing danger in their homeland to finding other challenges in another.
