There is no need for a long description...
Here is a testimony of what life can look like when you fully trust God, and let Him do his work. It all starts with faith, followed by obedience.
Pastor Miller says it best " I know God is all I need because I have been to a point where He was all I had"
Just listen alright ! and let me know...
Alright everyone! The one and only John Talley!
What an amazing servant of our Lord and Savior. John is the leader of Oklahoma State University FCA and the next guest.
Oh goodness! We touched on so many different topics, discriminations experienced in his childhood. We also touched on hypocrisies happening in the church and what it should look like, it is not about perfection but progression! Dating in a world like today, how to be different and love the way Christ calls us to love not the way culture pushes us to love.
WE DID IT ALL!
Check it out.
Tune in for hearing about God's love in the valleys, and his faithfulness. Life for sure ain't easy but despite the circumstances, the light is right on the other side. There is a way out of every battle, a blessing in every situation, and Jonathan's story is proof of it.
Jonathan Moore is originally from Southern California. He grew up in Washington State with both of his parents and his brother Joel who was diagnosed with transposition of the great arteries. Unfortunately, the family had to go through a really hard time when Joel died from a heart attack at 12 years old. Jonathan was part of the OSU Men’s Golf team where he was just a stud! Despite the struggle of his first year, came back the following year and obtained freshman of the year, the first team all-American, individual national championship, led the team to a national championship, ranked the second player of the year. Due to all this success, he decided to pursue a professional career.
Stilly was a blessing all around for him not only because of his athletic performances but also because it is where he met the woman of his dream. Claire who today has been married since 2009, I let you do the math’s this is just awesome. More to the story, they have together 3 beautiful children, Adeline (their oldest), JT who was named after Jonathan's big brother and Claire’s father (Dr. Jeff Fielding), and Charlotte, a precious 2-year-old adopted by this loving family. Today he is the Strengthening conditioning Coach at OSU
CHECK IT OUT!
Here are some words of encouragement! Despite trials and challenges, there is still Hope. Trinity Picklo ( part of the OSU Women's Soccer Team) is an amazing young woman that has devoted her life to Christ. Unfortunately, she experienced the loss of her boyfriend when she was a little bit younger. Not only that she also had to see her big brother going through the same thing with his girlfriend a little bit after. In this podcast, she walks you through moments of darkness, moments of anger and frustration, but she also shares how the Lord works everything out for good, and that there is still hope and light at the end of the tunnel. Check it out!
Listen, I simply wanted to share my testimony following last week's episode. It was important for me to be transparent with you all and give you a better idea of what kind of host you are listening to. Vulnerability is a strength and I hope my story encourages you to share your own! It is not about a perfect life but a progressive life, so check it out, you might be surprised!
Here is a podcast to illustrate that despite our past or the mess we are in, Jesus is the one that rescues us! To help you understand this concept better, you get to hear from Leslee Holliday's point of view. You are worthy of it all, and qualified for it. We do not only want to talk about it but also help you to break the chains and cycles that the enemy uses constantly against us. There is a way out, and it is important that you redefine the way you see Christ, that you finally see how much he loves you! And just like Psalm 40, let him transform you, restore your soul, and give you this new melody to sing.
Psalm 40: 2-3
"He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed."
