In this episode we talked about Khloe Kardashian and her life. Chrisean Rock and Blueface's endless drama was also discussed. Diddy and Caresha's (Yung Miami) out of the blue relationship was tackled. We also talked about Cardi and JT's beef on twitter. Kanye West's antisemitic remarks and recent social media rant was discussed. As well as the Nick Minaj hate train, Quavo/Migos and Saweetie's relationship, and Kodak Black and Latto's beef was discussed.
Episode two is about about how social media has greatly contributed to the success of some people and jealousy of others. We discussed how some social media influencers keep up with drama. Some influencers are in relationship; rappers (we went into detail about that). We discussed about how some social media influencers are building a name for
themselves (i.e. some projects they’ve been working on). We also discussed how their lifestyles are, how they act as if they are high profile celebrities. We also tackled how some influencers act as if they are using products that they never use (i.e Ari Fletcher and Moon Cosmetics). Lastly, we discussed how social media influencers attempt to set trends. (i.e. Jayda and Dess braids, etc.)
Episode one is about the culture inside of HBCU campuses. Albany State is a "get in where you fit in" type school, but not everyone fits the standard to be accepted or a part of a friend group. In today's society, high fashion brands, diamond jewelry, foreign cars, and etc. are glorified, so my generation feels as if we have to keep up our image or we're considered "broke". We should dress for ourselves and not try to break the bank to keep up an image. In order for everyone to feel comfortable, we need to not be so judgmental or cocky because everyone can't afford the same things.
The reason behind this episode topic is to bring awareness to the fact of the matter that it's good to look nice but don't feel like you have to be someone you're not just to fit in or follow trends.
