It was a glorius time before Larry and Kevin had given up all hope for the future.Let's look at some of the best songs of 1994. Oh yes, there will be clips!
Time to sum up some of our thoughts on the series overall with a little bit of stats, our Top 11 Characters, and some strengths and weaknesses of the show!
Ever since the pilot, you knew there would come a day of reckoning for the Strike Team. We've now reached that point. It's all been building towards this! Just how devastating does it get? Pretty goddamn devastating.....
S7E12 - What a goddamn episode! All 7 seasons has been building to this! The Strike Team's fates get sealed in this episode as Vic makes a heart breaking choice.
S7E11 - Some clunky moments this episode but overall a lot of tension as Vic still doesn't realze Corrine is helping the cops take him down hile he tries to keep Shane quiet and broker a deal between gangs.
Sean Leahy in the house. Probably talking about the hockey playoffs. Or not.
Also, we watched Miami Connection.
S7E10 - Vic is getting in deeper with the Mexican cartel in hopes of getting a deal with ICE while Shane and Mara play house? A weird but awesome episode!
S7E9 - Shane and Mara are fugitives and it's not looking good for them, How far is Vic willing to go to shut them up? Also, a peek at Billings' family life.
Dick Belsky is back tonight promoting his new book, "Beyond The Headlines" and probably talking about the Cleveland Browns.
Buy his book here... https://www.amazon.com/Beyond-Headlines-Clare-Carlson-Mystery/dp/160809409X/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=
We also watched Joysticks so you don't have to.
S7E8 - Shane and his thug for hire (well blackmail...) are out to whack Vic and Ronnie. Given Shane's track record for fucking up, it's probably not gonna go too well.
S7E7 - Everyone's favorite, no that's a lie, but at least the crackiest crack whore is back this week! Vic's out of job and possibly out if Lee's life but ho really cares about Lee anyway?
S7E6 - Vic and Ronnie plot to solve their Armenian problem and kill off Shane all in one fell swoop!
S7E5 - Claudette faces down Clevon again one last time beforethe show winds down. Meanhile the Strike Team tries to help Olivia who is in Pezuela's pocket. Is it a trap?
S7E4 - The Armenians and Mexicans finally have a sit-down which leads to delicate balancing act for Vic. How far is he willing to go to keep the animosity between these 2 sides going and who will get caught in the crossfire. (The correct answer is you. You'll get caught up in the Crossfire! Crossfire! Crossfiiiiiiiiiiiiiire!)
S7E3 - Vic gets in deeper with the Armenians and the Mexicans leaving Ronnie and Julien to run with a -related case all alone. So much wasted potential sticking the religious guy on the case instead of Shane.....
S7E2 - Vic and Shane have to scramble to keep Rezian alive in prison and all is not well with the re-teamed Dutch and Billings
S7E1 - Can Vic and Ronnie put aside their hatred for Shane aside long enough to get out from under the Armenians? And how will they do it? Plus Billings' whirlwind legal case already comes to a head somehow.
World-famous blues musician Miles Watson is back to talk about the classic "Warlords of the 21st Century" aka "Battletruck". And by "classic", I mean crappy.
At long last we talk about a movie super deluxe near to both our hearts....Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back! It don't get much better than this!
It's last week's episode redone. Only differences being Pat Picciarelli will actually be here and we watched Samurai Cop TWO.
Two.
Vic is desparate to keep his job and take down Pezuela. What lengths will he go to? And Shane has to scramble to fix his latest mistake before bodies start dropping.
At long last the San Marcos case comes to a conclusion. Will it be enough to save Vic's job? Also, Shane does something incredibly stupid (shocker!).
Pat Picciarelli returns! Talking spies an mustaches.
We also watched Samurai Cop. It's something else...
S6E8 - Hernan's in the wind and the Barn is in hot water for possibly blowing his cover. And when Vic and Claudette disagree about tactics, who will the new Strike Team leader side with? You already know...
S6E7 - The case of the massacre at San Marcos keeps on keeping on. Can that undercover agent, Hernan, help get this solved or is he just gonna cause more problems than Shane on a typical Tuesday?
S6E6 - Shane is acting weird and Vic and Ronnie start having suspicions about him that very quickly become validated. What's gonna happen when VIc confronts Shane this time?
S6E5 - Chubbs stops by to teach Vic about golf....and life! Also, Shane's in some hot water with the wife after being on the receiving end of a beatdown.
Sound the trumpets! Ronnie actually gets to do something for once! And Vic's plan of luring Guardo back from Mexico worked....now what?
If you like your Thor movies without all that Thor getting in the way, watch "Thor: End of Days". We did.
The long-running feud between Vic and Kavanaugh comes to a close this episode. But who emerges on top? (I mean you probably already know....)
Vic's on the hunt for Guardo while Shane starts breaking down under the weight of what he's done. Plus a confusing toaster scene!
Michael Chiklis starred in a Three Stooges bio pic in the year 2000 so we thought this would be a good time to take a look at him playing a very different role than Vic Mackey.
Lem's on the run and the Strike Team wants to get him to Mexico. Will they be able to pull this off before the police find him first? And if Lem goes down will they be going down right along with him?
World famous blues musician Miles Watson is here to watch Battle Beyond The Stars with us.
S5E10 - Vic tries to broker for Lem's safety in prison and Claudette's career takes a turn after she gets questioned about her fall down the stairs.
S5E9 - With their assets frozen, the Strike Team needs to somehow get their hands on $100,000 to bail Lem out of prison. And Claudette's back!
mikedell claims this will be a "special episode".
House on Sorority Row is the film o' the week.
Not that "special"
A day in the life of Kavanaugh as he tries to resist crossing the line in his pursuit of the Strike Team and dealing with his crazy ex-wife. Also, grenades!
Paul Reyes of the city-wide crime detail wants the Strike Team's help on a case. Could this be a new opportunity for them? Not if Kavanaugh has his way.....
Has Kavanaugh packed it in and scurried off with his tail between his legs? Of course it's not that easy.... Also, Clevon is back! Maybe Dutch and Claudette can finally bring this guy down.
It's a twisted tale of plots and counterplots as Kavanaugh keeps the pressure on the Strike Team. Also, Claudette finally tells Dutch what's going on with her health.
S5E4 - Strike Team keeps up the charade of being on the up and up for Lem's wire. Plus a dead baby and a guy called Ass Suck. What more can you ask for?
S5E3 - Mike Dell was right along, they're trafficking kids! Tina gets to go undercover to bust some dirty dans! Plus, Kavanaugh is still a pain in the Strike Team's ass.
Despite technical difficulties, we recorded via Skype to yap about "Attack the Block," Valiant Thor, and Jerry's Top 11 girlfriends on "Seinfeld."
S5E2 - The Strike Team tangles with a psycho named Doomsday while Kavanuagh lays into Lem and tries to get him to wear a wire. The heat is on early this season
S5E1 - A new captain! A new partner for Julien! And a new world of hurt coming for the Strike Team!
LCS Hall of Famer Sean Leahy is here tonight. Probably talking hockey.
Plus we watched the JLC classic Terror Train. Who likes magic?
Nothing starts off the new year better than an Irish musical. We saw Sing Street so you know what that means...
