For the last book of the summer, we read Begin Again by Emma Lord, an adorable book about a girl unable to live up to a legacy, a boy who drinks disgusting coffee, and the slowest burn that ever blazed in literature! Featuring a confused roommate, a math major who's secretly a writer, a ribbon system none of us could understand, a breakup song that annoyed Zoe more then it should've, and bagels. Enjoy! We talk about the themes, and if we like the Ickabog himself, and also the very important question of whether one could go jogging in the morning in a town so focused on sweets, (It makes sense in the episode, we promise!) It's important to state that we did not talk about the questionable things J. K. Rowling said, and we only referenced her as the author of this book rather then talking about her personal choices and beliefs.
