This is a show to help people create a life without limits by simply changing how they think about what they see.
Why? Because those who don’t think differently will always believe their resources are limited and never lead an extraordinary life.
Tom shares his thoughts on the danger of believing what appears to be true and failing to live into the Truth of your identity.
This is a show for those who are looking for better answers in the most crucial areas of life. A show For those who aren’t satisfied with the ordinary results produced by their surface level thinking.
What is the fruit that comes from the truth?
Freedom.
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” - John 8:31-32
Knowing the truth makes you free. The Greek word translated "make" means to deliver, make free, and liberate. It comes from a root word that means unrestrained. So think about this for a moment: if knowing the truth has the power to liberate you and allow you to be unrestrained, then does that mean that not knowing the truth will keep you restrained and in bondage?
In my opinion, yes it does.
Yet, your brain can work against you from knowing the truth. See, your brain is designed to keep you alive, and the belief systems you hold tell your brain what is important and what is not. Essentially, what that means, is that your brain will receive any information that is contrary to your current belief system as a threat. It will be more inclined to prove the information is wrong than to examine it for truth.
In today's episode, we will break down how you can always walk in truth and not let your brain stay stuck in a belief system that might be keeping you stuck in bondage. I also share three steps you can take to always be in a state of mind that allows for the truth to win.
Don't forget that God put everything in place for you to succeed in your purpose. However, you can miss out on that assignment if you don't take action on the TRUTHS and break away from faulty thinking. The purpose of life is not just trying to survive but to live a life that brings glory to his kingdom and is attractively different.

Friend, have you ever let the cares of life pull you away from yielding your entire heart to God? If you're anything like me then the answer is yes, and today's show will give you a practical way to know when you're trusting in your resources. Yes, there have been season in life where you hold on tightly to your resources because it doesn't feel like there will be enough. Yet, we know that God's desire for us is to trust Him as the source instead of trusting in the resources.
In today's episode we're going to dive into Jesus' teaching on this topic from His sermon on the mount found in Matthew 6:22-23. Jesus said, " The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!"
Jesus is using a Hebrew idiom that is referring to generosity and stinginess. A good or healthy eye is an eye that looks out for the needs of others, but a bad or unhealthy eye does not see the needs of others due to looking out for your own needs. Yet, here's the problem, when you focus on your own needs and miss the needs of others then the result is that you'll miss the path that God has for your life.
Friend, God wants to use you as a place of blessing for those around you. He wants to know that you are faithful to His plan and that you can be trusted to do His assignments. He has put everything in place for you to succeed in your purpose. However, you can miss out on that assignment if you don't take action on the TRUTHS and break away from faulty thinking. The purpose of life is not just trying to survive but to live a life that brings glory to his kingdom and is attractively different.

As a believer, knowing God and trusting in His character is crucial to succeeding in your assignment. Yet, there are many believers (… and you may be one) who have some big questions for God and are unsure if He's as trustworthy as the church tells them.
In today's episode, we dive into the idea of "Knowing God" and a lack of knowledge will destroy His people. We're going to dive into the story of Job and how God rebuked him for His "words without knowledge." I also share a real life story that demonstrates this principle and how incorrect beliefs or assumptions will create obstacles in your life.
In His word, God has put everything in place for you to succeed in your purpose. However, you can miss out on that assignment if you don't take action on the TRUTHS and break away from faulty thinking. The purpose of life is not just trying to survive but to live a life that brings glory to his kingdom and is attractively different.

If you're a person who wants to advance God's kingdom and make an impact then there's one major skill set that you need to acquire. In today's episode we talk about how this skill set gets revealed in the parable of the talents but is hardly ever talked about.
What's the skill set?
It's the skill set of being able to multiply our money.
There's always a focus on the lazy servant because we want to avoid pain but rarely do we focus on the two who were called good and faithful. What made them good and faithful and what skills did they possess?
When you look at the parable you'll find three different levels of money management. One allows for the money to be multiplies, one will growth your money, and the third method does neither. Listen to this episode with an open mind and genuinely ask yourself … are you pursuing the same skills and mindset that the two "good and faithful servants" possessed?

As you know, walking by faith and not by sight is easier said than done. Yet, I recently discovered a simple principle that, if applied, will create the momentum needed for you to live a life where you are walking by faith and not by sight.
What's this simple, yet profound, principle?
It's the principle of the mystery harvest.
In today's episode, I share with you what the mystery harvest is and how you can apply it to your life as you learn to live a kingdom life. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus instructed his listeners to "seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteous"… and what would happen? "All of these things will be added to you."
Well, "all of these things" are what we worry about when we're unsure if there will be provision.
If you've every struggled with this worry then you need to understand and apply the mystery harvest principle.

Taking action is extremely important because you would never accomplish anything if you never took action. Yet, if you're anything like me, there are many times in life where you find yourself failing to take action. Just as Paul said in his letters … he doesn't do what he wants to do and finds himself doing the things that he doesn't want to do.
In today's episode, we discuss the five reasons that stop you from taking action and how to remove those blocks in order to start taking action. If you're honest with yourself, the reality is that it can be scary at times to take action, and this fear can put you in a state of mind where you are just trying to survive. It's a fight, flight, or freeze. This episode is going to help you diagnose why you're not taking action and breakthrough that obstacle to start moving forward and creating momentum.

In the game of life there are two types of people: the pawns and the players. Just like chess, the players of the game determine the strategy and movements of the pawns. The pawns move slowly and are relatively easy to defeat while the players of the game can see the whole board and utilize the differnet pieces of the game in order to win.
In today's episode, we're going to talk about the five characteristics that define the pawns and the fiver characteristics that define the players. We're also going to discuss why it's so important for you, as a believer, to be a player in the game instead of a pawn. God has uniquely created you to be a produce and value creator. You've been given a unique assignment that can only be accomplished by "playing the game" instead of being "played by the game".

"That's not fair!"
If you're anything like me then you've said this phrase at some point in life. Yet, what does fair actually mean? That everyone should have the same housing, talent, looks, and destiny?
No two people even have identical opportunity, and yet society will tell you that everyone should have the same opportunity. In today's episode, we discuss how damaging it can be to buy into the idea of "fairness" instead of looking through the lens of justice.
The idea of fairness is very subjective and highly emotional. Due to this dynamic, when you feel victim to something not being fair you open yourself up for bitterness, resentment, and offense. These are tactics from the enemy because it's evident that bitterness, resentment, and offense will not set you up to succeed.

There are a lot of people who want to avoid conflict and will do anything to get it resolved or set it aside. However, when you don't address conflict the way that you should it actually magnifies the conflict and makes it worse.
In today's episode we're going to discuss why you should address conflict and how you can view it differently so that you'll want to make sure that it gets resolved. You will invariably encourage what you tolerate. It can feel like an inconvenience or time consuming to address conflict appropriately but in all cases, when you push it off or avoid addressing conflict, then the situation will always get worse.

What would you say if I told you that there was point in Jesus' ministry where he could not do what he wanted to do?
In today's episode we're going to talk about offense, and how offense will stop or negate the work that God wants to do in your life. When Jesus was ministering in his home town the people in his town took offense at him, and the Bible says that Jesus COULD NOT do a miracle because of their offense.
This word used in the passage is the Greek word Skandalizo, which means to create a stumbling block. You can also see this is where we get our English word scandal or scandalous. "Count it all JOY, my brothers, when you face trials of many kinds."
What is that supposed to mean? And how can you practically apply it to you life.
In today's episode, we're going to break down James 1:2-4 and see why we are able to face trials and view them through the lens of joy. In my opinion, many believers embrace the idea of suffering just for the sake of suffering. Almost like if they're suffering then they must be doing something right.
This perspective does not fit the character of God. His desire for you is to have everything you need for life and godliness. His desire is for you to be like a tree planted by the water where you continually bear fruit even in the dry seasons. He does not have a masochistic personality where you are supposed to enjoy the pain just because it is hard.
Yet, that seems to be the perspective where most believers approach the testing of their faith. Learning how to "suffer well" for the sake of suffering. Friend, you will see that God's desire for your trials and testing are to help you become the person who lacks nothing. God has put everything in place for you to succeed in your life purpose. Yet, if you're like me, there are times where it becomes difficult to not finish the work. For example, anytime I read a book I feel like I need to finish, and that's because I have made the goal reading the book instead of extracting the wisdom or skills that God is intending for me.
So, here's your permission to stop … but only when God is leading you elsewhere. And if God is not leading you elsewhere, then there is a good chance that what you're doing is working on you to become more.

Your desires are clues to your God-given assignment and the potential that you contain.
In today's episode, we're going to discuss how God speaks to us and guides through the desires that we have on our heart. The desires and burdens for people to take action in certain areas are unique to them. The advesary positions our thoughts against us so that we stay stuck.
There are two words that the Bible uses for desires and one means petition and the other is used in regards to lusts and covetousness.
God has called us to create to co-labor with him, and these petitions and requests are a necessary part to succeeding in the assignment that He has for you. God says in His word says that man plans his way, his course of life, and God directs each step and establishes those steps to prosper the plan. .
Yet, the desire of lust and covetousness comes in when we're unwilling to become the person He has called us to be. James 4 says that we do not have because we do not ask and when we do ask and fail to receive it's because we asked with the wrong motive. We asked with the motive to fulfill our lusts and covetousness instead of fulfilling His plan and purpose.
Friend, you have a natural leaning that will guide us in our assignment and when you petition God for the things you need in our assignment He will bring it to pass.

The number 8 always speaks of a God - human partnership, and the Hebrew word for the number 8 means to make fat - to satiate. There is an implied idea that there is more than enough. The number 7 means complete, and therefore one more than 7 is more than enough.
In that idea, more than enough, God ties 8 character traits His personal name. These 8 character traits inform us about God's identity, but the fact that there are 8 names implies that He is more than enough. God's methods bring freedom and security, but the method's of the world methods bring a false security and slavery. .

God's word tells us that we are coworkers with Him. He will do his part and we must do our part. Yet, the are a lot of Christian circles that think since God is all powerful He will provide more like a genie than a business partner. This relationship is very similar to a farmer.
Just like a farmer who puts seed in the ground, he can only do his part by farming and tending to the seed and crops. His success requires God to send the sun and rain.

We have a tendancy to wait when we face uncertainty.
Our brain freezes because uncertainty creates a feeling of fear. Even though the skill and personal development is what you need to create cash flow, your brain will convince you that it's better to wait.
In today's episode we talk about how the most successful people identify what is needed now and will engage in that solution immediately. By taking action you're taking steps toward becoming the person that you need to become in order to create what you're trying to create because when you are willing to operate from a state of uncertainty your brain begins to find solutions. Yet, when you try to discipline yourself it doesn't seem to work and it creates this fear or hopelessness that it will never work. The fact that it's not working actually creates a lot of guilt and shame that causes a downward spiral proving that you're "not enough".

Potential is having or showing the capacity to become or develop into something in the future.
Your potential does not have a limit because God's design for the world is increase and advancement. We were designed to grow and see advancement. There's more to our salvation than just a "get out of hell pass”, and people will hold the belief that the point of our time on earth is about suffering well.
In today's episode, we discuss the picture of how God delivered Israel from Egypt but was taking them to the promised land. This picture is a great image of how Christians are being delivered from their life of slavery and bondage into the inheritance that God promises.
Let's talk about what it looks like to be fruitful and take enemy for the kingdom of God.

Beliefs are simply decisions about life, and those decisions are the best way we can materialize those beliefs. Let's talk about beliefs and how beliefs are actually decisions that we make and how our decisions play out in our destiny. If you want to do more in life or fulfill your purpose all you need to do is simply make a new decision. You must give yourself permission to hold a new belief.
Doing better without becoming more will always keep you stuck, and one of the most pervasive mindsets that keep us stuck is the mindset of competition. In today's episode, we talked about competition versus creator and how one mindset keeps you stuck and limited and the other mindset it gives you freedom and abundance.
Let's assess the decisions that we're currently making to create our results in life.

Should you play to your strengths or work on developing your weaknesses?
In today's episode we talk about how your growth is hidden in your limitations, and we're going to discuss how your growth is connected to your limitations. Using your strengths is important to your growth but being willing to strategically use your limitations will take you to the next level.
Your limitations will reveal to you who you need to become and the repetitive use of a limited ability will always increase your capacity. In order to increase your capacity it requires that you use a limited ability over and over again. This will not only increase your capacity but will also increase your happiness because happiness is connected to growth.

Fear has killed more dreams that failure ever could.
In today's episode we talk about failure and why you shouldn't be afraid of it. Failure does not feel good yet you can regain power in your life by changing the perception around failure.
Failure is simply the story that you assign to an outcome that you didn't desire. Creating a different perspective around failure allows you to walk in an increased feeling of gratitude and move yourself forward.
For example, when you took chemistry in high school and an experiment didn't go the way you thought it would, did you see yourself as an epic failure or did you became really curious? Part of being a good scientist is to get really curious and make new discoveries about the outcome. The same can be true with our life.
Listen in as we cover the four perspectives that you can have to reframe failure and move forward without fear.

What I’ve found is that many believers feel trapped and confused. They believe God has given them a unique purpose in life but don’t feel the freedom to operate in the truth of who they are out of fear of being rejected and not being enough.
They’re frustrated that life appears to be a zero-sum game and you can’t simultaneously win in the key areas of life, and if you try, you end up doing them all poorly. Most of them feel guilty that they’re not more content or fulfilled with life. They listen to podcasts, read books, attend events to find the right tips, hacks, tactics, and strategies that will bring it all together but aren’t seeing progress.
In today's episode, we discuss how you start to take vengeance on Satan's kingdom when you activate your purpose and walk in your God give assignment.

David Thoreau said, "It's not what you look at that matters. It's what you see."
The perceptions that you have in life will directly affect the results you achieve. Therefore, if you're not getting the results that you want then you should change your perceptions. Yet, many times we don't know anything needs to be changed because our perceptions have been ingrained into us since we were five or six years old. These perceptions can keep us bound and feel trapped but since they're operating in our subconscious we don’t realize they need to change.
In today's episode, we talk about 12 perspective shifts that can increase your happiness, kindness, and productivity. These perspectives will help you chart a new course to a more free and abundant life.

Life can feel like a zero-sum game. Pressing in to succeed in a key area of life feels like you have to sacrifice another key area of life, and as a result it's challenging to feel like you're ever enough. You're not enough in your health, your parenting, your business, your marriage, etc.
In today's episode we discuss the Hebrew concept of Shalom, what it means, and the hidden meaning that will guide you to a life that is characterized by peace, fullness, and wholeness. Friend, life is not a zero-sum game. Everything God made He made to succeed, and the way you succeed as a human being is to abound in all the key areas of life. To see success in your health, your relationships, your marriage, your business, and your finances.
We can clearly find this concept in God's word as 3 John 1:2 says, " Beloved, I pray that in every way you may prosper and enjoy good health, as your soul also prospers."

The first command that God gave to mankind was to "BE FRUITFUL, multiply, replenish the earth, and subdue; and to have dominion."
What does it mean to be fruitful and how does it relate how we operate in our assignment?
In today's episode we discuss the importance of operating in the identity that God has given you. You have a unique way thinking, feeling, and choosing and when you fail to walk in that identity you miss out on living a life that is true to yourself and a heavy sense of regret. There's a deep desire within all of us to be accepted and to "be enough", but we create trouble when we think that being enough is by meeting the expectations of society, friends, family and culture.
This can look different for everyone and comes out as our personality. You created your personality as a form of protection. It is the best way you know how to prevent being rejected and facing your greatest fear. Yet, staying within your personality will keep you stuck and prevent you from being fruitful.

Philippians 4:13 says that you can do ALL THINGS through Christ who gives you strength?
Well, if that's the case, it's critically important to know how to activate this into your life. When you look around, do you see people living a life that reveals all things are possible? If God's word is truth then He will show you how this truth can be implemented into your life and create a reality where all things are possible.
In today's episode we dig into that exact process. The verses that come before verse 13 outline the process and procedure to being able to do ALL THINGS. Think about what this can make possible for you. How would life change if you knew how to set this truth into motion in full confidence that all things are possible? What if it became more than a common Christian saying?
It would be simple to live out the dreams and desires that God has placed on your heart, and your life would be a powerful testimony for His kingdom.

Don't you hate the tasks that take three times longer than you initially expected?
The time it takes to get a result will drastically change your experience. For example, many of us - if not all of us - will make a million dollars in our life time. Yet, some of us will make a million dollars over 40 years and some of us will make that in a year. I'm willing to guess that you, like me, would prefer to make the million dollars in year.
Now here's the thing about faster results …. you must be willing to spend money.
In today's episode we discuss the two ways that you pay for achieving a result. You can either spend money or spend your time. Choosing to spend money allows for the result to happen faster but the downside is that you don't gain the experience of completing the task. Spending your time to learn and complete the activity is going to cost you in time but you also gain the experience of completing the task.
Let's talk about when it's appropriate to spend money and when it's appropriate to spend your time. We'll also discuss why you erroneously choose to spend your time and the impact it has on your results and life.

You have an amazing imagination.
In fact, your mind does not know how to differentiate between imagination and reality. In fact, Harvard Medical School researchers have investigated the power of imagination with a group of volunteers who had no prior experience playing the piano. There was a group who intensely practiced the piano for 5 days and a group who imagined themselves going through the same piano practice as the other group. What did they find? They found that the brain activity was almost identical between the two groups.
In today's episode we talk about the importance of harnessing your imagination in your life. In order to create anything in life you must have an vision and image of what you are trying to create. Here's the problem, most people spend most, if not all, of their imagination on outcomes that they do not want to happen. They visualize running out of money, failing on a project, and not being able to provide for their loved ones. These thoughts keep people in a state of overwhelm, anxiety, and doubt. It robs them of their energy and does not leave a reservoir of energy to create anything new.
God's word says that without a vision people perish. That word for perish implies that they're exposed and vulnerable to harm. Yet, those who have a vision and direction for their life are happy and blessed.

What's your hot button?
What causes you to hop on the crazy cycle and ride the downward spiral of emotions all the way to the bottom? I'll tell you this … it's not what you think it is. The problem that sends you to the bottom isn't the problem. The meaning that you have given that problem is what creates the downward spiral.
In today's episode we talk about how your beliefs determine what you're experiencing. What you believe will either empower you to a breakthrough or disempower you to live a life that is reactionary. Fear is the result when you feel disempowered, and your fearful emotion causes the brain to move into a primal state of thinking and respond in fight, flight, or freeze.
James chapter one says to ask for wisdom when you need it. Yet, if you do not ask in faith you should not expect to receive anything but you will be double minded - tossed around like the waves of the sea. This happens when you react and respond in fear.

What is one thing that you've been afraid to ask for?
Money?
A favor?
New clothes?
A promotion?
Why are you afraid to ask? James 4:2-3 says that you don't have because you don't ask, and when you do ask you don't receive because you ask with the wrong motive. Now here's the problem … as a believer having the wrong motive feels like you're failing in your faith. So, in order to avoid that failure, your brain tells you that it's best not to ask.
The Christian culture has almost villainized "asking" for things and glorified the idea of suffering. Yet, what if God desires for you to have the desires of your heart, and as a loving father would, what if He wants you to become the person that can handle what comes so it doesn't destroy you?
In today's episode we discuss why learning how to ask is crucial to you succeeding in your God given assignment.

Regardless of how much you mark of your list it really ever get completed? The hamsters wheel of your to-do list it's both exhausting and overwhelming. Anxiety, overwhelm, and doubt all leave you in a disempowered state of mind that drains all your energy.
In today's episode we talk about how the problem is not the fact that you don't have enough time. The problem is that you spend too much of your time focusing on activities that drain your energy, and that leaves you in a place where you are not able to pursue the right actions that will create the life that you want to create. The most successful people have the ability to maintain focus their energy on the right activities that will create what they want to create.

One of the core human needs is certainty.
Your brain's primary objective is to keep you alive, and one of the greatest threats to your brain are moments of uncertainty. This is due to your brain not having past experiences that allow it to predict the outcome. Therefore, the uncertainty is viewed as a crisis and you will begin to experience fear. This feeling of fear will cause you to do one of three actions: fight, flight, or freeze.
This reaction will serve you well when you are in real danger, but it does not serve you when you need to make empowered decisions. In today's episode we discuss how uncertainty equals opportunity. This is vital for you if uncertainty in your life causes fear and prevents you from making the best decisions.
When you are in a state of fear your natural tendency is to contract. You perceive that your resources will be depleted and there is less opportunity for growth. However, the opportunity is doesn't change. Therefore, if you are able to hack your brain you will actually have a greater of advantage of capitalizing on the opportunity because everyone else will be in a state of contracting due to uncertainty. This is a crucial skill as you become a person who walks by faith.

You want to be happy.
Happiness can feel so elusive. It feels fickle and dictated by your circumstances. So what is the secret to happiness?
When you look into God's word you will find that the Bible describes people who follow God as happy and joyful. Yet, when that doesn't line up in your life it can feel really heavy. It can feel like you're not being a "good Christian" or that something is wrong with you.
So what do you do?
Well, your brain is a problem solving machine and will seek to solve this crisis. You will look for the solution to happiness, and unfortunately this can lead you down the wrong road because society will tell you that happiness come from your environment. Society will tell you that happiness comes from how people feel about you, how much money you're making, what you look like. All of these solutions are external.
So we as believers as Christians are characterized and called to be happy someone who follows after god follows after his love is someone who is joyful who's happy and have happiness in their life. Let's break that down what is that because we have this negative i say negative we have this poor narrative in our society this poor belief I'll say that that happiness comes from the environment. We've been conditioned to believe that when we're not happy when we need to use an external source to change the environment.
A lot of times what can happen is can lead to things like excessive use of sex, alcohol, drugs, etc. There's a natural tendency to pursue things that are fun to increase happiness, but fun generally is generally a short term win but dissatisfying in the long term.
In today's episode, we talk about how growth is what leads to happiness. Which is amazing news because your growth is 100% in your control. It doesn't depend on your circumstance. It doesn't depend how you feel. You can choose to be happy by pursuing growth.

Knowledge is power. Think about that for a moment.
Is it 100% true that knowledge is power? No, it isn't power. It has the potential to be powerful, but acting on the knowledge is where the power comes from.
For example, could you write a book in a week? The answer is yes. If you knew that you were going to sell 100,000 copies of your book at $20 per book, then yes, you could write a book in a week. Because you would then have the expectation of earning $2 million from book sales. In this example, people are not paying $20 just because you wrote a book. They're paying for the knowledge within the book. However, the power of the $2 million does not become possible unless you take action and write the book.
In today's episode, I want to talk about how knowledge really isn't power, and I want to dig in on the idea that is preventing you from taking action that turns it into power. This is a crucial topic when it comes to succeeding in your God given assignment, because the way God tests our faithfulness is through taking action. Listen in and see how you can be more confident to take action and pursue the assignment that he as for you!

It's true … we've all felt stuck.
Feeling stuck can feel helpless and it can be a struggle to become "unstuck" because it's easy to believe the story that you're telling yourself. You're just struggling to get the results and when you look at your battle it's easy to think tell yourself things like, "well if the economy was better", "if my spouse was on board", or "if I had more money".
Notice … all these scenarios are outside of your control. It's frustrating because you intuitively know that if nothing changes then it will lead to a life characterized by bitterness, frustration, and broken relationships. At best life will just be just mediocre and you'll settle because the only way you can change something that is outside of your control is to resort to manipulation.
But manipulation feels yucky and not the person you want to be.
In today's episode, I want to talk about taking personal responsibility because it's the most empowering decision that you can make when it comes to your results, pursuing your God-given assignment, and leaving a powerful legacy for those behind you.

When it comes to Social media the algorithms run the show.
Every social platform want to engage their users and provide an experience that is enjoyable and fun. In effort to create this environment, the algorithms that have been created are designed to show you more content like content that you have engaged with in the past. This algorithm acts like a filter that allows for certain types of post to be shown to you and keeps other posts away from you.
You're brain has a system that acts and responds very similarly to these social media algorithms. Every second your senses gather up to 11 million bits of information around you, but the conscious mind can typically only process 50 bits of information per second. Therefore, it needs a filter to manage this information to prevent overwhelm.
What makes it though the filters is determined by the part of the brain called the reticular activating system. The reticular activating system is responsible for a number of functions, including sleep and behavior modification. It also acts as the gatekeeper of information. This allows the brain to ignore meaningless and repetitive information and remain sensitive to other inputs.
In today's episode we discuss why your brain's reticular activating system will keep you stuck in a negative loop and how to get out of that cycle and achieve your desired results. It's extremely disempowered when you are stuck in this cycle. At times it may feel too heavy for a change to be possible - which leads to feeling hopeless.
Yet, God did not create you to operate in this manner. He created you to be the person that is described in Psalm 1 - the person who is like a tree planted by water, which yields it's fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever they do prospers. Sounds good right?
Let's discover how you can use your reticular activating system to your advantage instead of disadvantage.

Yet, these questions never get addressed because religious programming will tell us that we lack faith by simply asking the questions. This type of uncertainty will paralyze your progress and cause you to settle for something less that God designed for you.
You desire to live a full life and experience everything that God desires for you. You want to be free to walk in your full identity but you may feel stuck. How do you move forward in faith if there are lingering thoughts of doubt?

God clearly outlines the requirements to pass the test, but the enemy is out to cause you to fail. What are the obstacles that are standing between you and fulfilling your life purpose? What words do you use to describe them, and how do they make you feel?
In today's episode we discuss how the words you use to describe your obstacles indicate what you believe about yourself. If you say that something is impossible it indicates that your believe you lack what is necessary. If you say that you're facing a giant then there may be a belief that you are small, weak, or insignificant. The opposite is also true … if you say that your challenges are "doable" then you believe you have what it takes.
Bottom line … how you perceive the world is how you perceive yourself.
What are you saying about your obstacles and what does it tell you about how you see yourself? Because if you hold the belief that you're not enough, don't have what it takes, or are severely lacking then your action will be limited and you'll risk missing the purpose of life.

The purpose of life is not about settling , but we chose to settle for above average feels safe and comfortable. Yet, it can breed feelings of shame, resentment, and judgment toward others. Since it requires so much energy, it naturally wants to be efficient and preserve it's energy and use the least amount of energy possible. Therefore, it creates habits to help conserve energy. Which means that our brain is automatically predisposed to the comfort zone.
A life of excellence begins with training the mind. We discuss practical ways in which you can train your brain that promotes better memory, creativity, and focus. Training your brain allows you to be more adaptable to handle the stressors of life.

Are you convinced that God has a bigger purpose and plan for your life but you just haven't seen it come to fruition? If you've been there (or are there currently) you know that the purpose of life can feel so uncertain. Is it as grand as you think it can be or monotonous as it feels? It requires faith to keep pressing forward.
In today's episode, I want to talk about what it's like to walk in your journey to the purpose and the assignment that God has for you. You know you're capable of something greater but feeling a little doubt that you're capable of walking in that assignment because it's not here. This can create negative thoughts that doubt that it's coming, or feel like you may not be good enough for the assignment that God has for you.
When you have these moments of doubt and self-criticism it can lead to comparison. We compare ourselves to those around us who are succeeding in their God-given assignment. The enemy wants us to believe our negative self talk so that we convince ourselves to quit.
If you're in a period of life where you know that your potential is great but you're just not seeing it come to fruition. Know that you're in a training ground that is proving yourself to be faithful for the assignment that God has for your life purpose.

Don't you wish that God would just reveal the WHOLE ENCHILADA? You know ... just show you the plan form the beginning to the end. How is this going to work out? Is this going to work?
In today's episode, we discuss why God doesn't reveal His plan for your life purpose all at once. Our brain's have trained us that in order to avoid failure it's important to know if a plan will succeed or not. It's wise to perform analysis and understand an issue from beginning to end. Yet, God rarely works that way when it comes to succeeding in the purpose of life.
"Knowing" causes us to feel in control because we don't like how it feels to be "out of control". Yet, what if the only way to be "in control" was to feel out of control by trusting in the God who is in control. What would change in your life if you knew that God concealing the entire plan for your life so that it could succeed? He is always good and knows that the enemy would disrupt the plan if it was revealed all at once.

What makes you unique?
There are people who want to make a difference in the world but lack the confidence that they can really make a difference. So people get caught up in trying to copy a method that doesn't align with your unique value. This is unsatisfying, frustrating, and will lead to burnout.
In today's episode, I want to talk about how embracing what makes you unique will position you to prosper in your assignment. Proverbs 18:16 says that a gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great. Your uniqueness is your gift and will usher you into the presence of the great. Your life purpose is to walk in your unique gifting to influence others for the kingdom of God. Yet, it's easy to want to copy the "proven" methods of success but struggle being authentic because it doesn't align with who you were uniquely created to be.
The purpose of life is to share your unique gifting and solve problems for others. If you're not sharing you unique gift with the world then you'll struggle to fully step into the assignment that God has for you.
Joseph is an example of how his unique gifting positioned him to be promoted to one of the highest positions in Egypt. Joseph was promoted because he provided a plan to a large problem.

If God has provided more than enough, then why are so may believers begging and crying for God to do something? They're living with a mindset of lack where there just isn't enough. This is unnecessary because there are so many benefits that are being left on the table that will enhance your life purpose and testimony to the non believer.
In today's episode, we talk about how there are so many benefits that believers are leaving on the table because they're seeing themselves as servants instead of son or daughters of the King. Hebrews 4:9-10 talks about Jesus becoming a sabbath rest for us. The only way that sabbath rest was possible is because God provides more than enough.
Before Jesus came, we were waiting to take hold of the inheritance that God has for us. Jesus was sent to purchase our freedom and break us free. We were adopted and recognized as God's son. Yet, our tendency is to revert back to our old religious programming.
We are citizens of heaven and have the rights of the kingdom. Through faith, we have access to ever great blessing and promise so that we could escape from the moral decay that is in the world and become partakers of divine nature.
The purpose of life is to operate inside the freedom that Jesus gave to us. We don't have to stand on the sidelines begging and convincing God to provide for you. These promises have been given so we can escape the lack and the bondage that religion places on us.

Don't miss this if you're feeling the pressure of life and need a break to release the pressure. These moments of pressure are frustrating and can be all about making it to the next day but when you're in a survival mentality you can lose vison in life. Also, and more importantly, you will miss out on opportunity when it comes.
In today's episode, I want to talk about why it's so important to have vision beyond just getting to the next day, and how this can set you up to maximize your opportunities when then come. Failing to have vision when the pressure is high will leave you wanting more out of the opportunity when it comes.
It's exhausting to feel the pressures of life and simply make it another day. The weariness drags you down, and it when the pressure releases there's a feeling of satisfaction that will cause you to stop or slow down. Yet, stopping or slowing down when the pressure is released will cause you to miss out on bigger advancements in your life purpose.
So, one of the tactics of the enemy is to keep you living in lack. He wants you to feel exhausted and weary to minimize your impact on the kingdom of God. This is why having provision allows you to have vision for your life and maximize the opportunities when they come.

Who do you choose to take advice from? What do they have that you want?
In today's episode we discuss what is required for change and how it applies to the Christian life. As believers, it is crucial that we can clearly share how a life in Christ is better than the alternative. Yet, the fruit our life produces is the megaphone to the world. People will only allow you to influence their life when you have something they want.
People are hurting when they're searching for peace, hope, healing, purpose. As believers, you become the brightest life when you are fulfilling your life purpose, you are full of peace and hope. The purpose of life is to complete your God-given assignment to grow his kingdom, and in that pursuit Jesus offers us life to the full. A life that is characterized by more than enough.

How well are your coping mechanisms serving you?
In today's episode we discuss how your strengths are keeping you in a "shell" of your potential, and might be holding you back from succeeding in your life purpose. This episode is for you If you want to break through and become everything you were created to be. We each have a unique and great potential but we are "sleep walking" through life based on our early childhood programming.
The psychological term is called "dimming of consciousness" where we have basic survival mechanisms where we dissociate from painful experiences as a way of surviving or staying safe in the world. This begins when we are babies because we, as humans, have the longest period of dependency of all mammals. We possess wired in defense mechanisms that protect us form being too overwhelmed or harmed by emotional or phycological threats. Therefore, as children there are maneuvers and coping strategies that are used to protect us that overtime become patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving. Over time these patterns turn into automatic habits that influence where your attention goes in the world. These early coping mechanisms aren't needed anymore and can become constraints with how we think, feel and act .
The purpose of life is to complete your God-given assignment to grow his kingdom, and it requires faith and courage to fully step into our true identity. Therefore, we must fully develop the how we think, feel and act.

Do kingdom principles ALWAYS work? My guess is that you're probably nodding your head in agreement. Yet, I've found that a lot of believers aren't even sure what they are. What differentiates God's kingdom from Satan's kingdom, and how does it apply all around the world?
In today's episode, I want to share with about an organization I had the pleasure of meeting with recently. It's a not for profit called Watts of love, and they supply solar lights to people around the world who do not have light. These lights improve the safety for the families who receive them but it provides a new opportunity to prosper.
The purpose of life is to love God well and have fun doing it. When we operate in our life purpose we become more like our creator and have a testimony of faith that shows other's that "it's possible." It's good news that your creator wants you to prosper in everything that you do. Psalm 1 says that the person who delights in the Lord is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither - whatever they do prospers. Friend, hopefully this is encouraging to you that all things are possible through Christ.

As a believer, how do you handle your desires? Do you feel the freedom to walk in those desires or do you suppress them because you believe that a "good Christian" should not fulfill their desires? This is a constant struggle for most believers and can potentially cause them to miss out on their life purpose.
In today's episode, I want to share with you how your desires are put inside of you to help you fulfill your life purpose. Religion has taught us, as believers, that fulfilling our desires is a sinful thought and action. There's an idea that a "good Christian" sets their desires aside and "take up their cross." Religion has positioned following Christ as a life that is hard and undesirable. Yet, Jesus said that He came to give us life and to give it to the full. He also said that His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
The purpose of life is to complete your God-given assignment to grow his kingdom, and it requires faith to follow His word and operate within our desires as He has designed. Therefore, when we believe that a desire is evil it is actually a result of a God-given desire that either cannot be fulfilled or we try to fulfill that desire in the wrong way. Hopefully this episode is encouraging to you to explore what desires you have suppressed due to a religious mindset, and what desires has God put inside of you that will help you fulfill your assignment.

True or false … in order to get ahead someone has to lose? Satan has perpetuated this idea that life is a zero sum game where the only reason that people get ahead is because they took from others. This is a severely limiting belief for believers because it's going to limit their impact on the kingdom of God, and prevent them from fully operating in their life purpose.
In today's episode, I want to discuss how God's kingdom is all about the win/win. If you feel like the success of someone else is actually costing you provision or blessing then you won't want to miss this episode because we're going to get into what Satan has to gain by perpetuating this lie and how it can cause you to come to the wrong conclusion about God and his provision.
God has positioned us where the purpose of life is to be generous on all occasions, and when we exhibit this type of generosity everyone wins. Yet, it's impossible to be generous on all occasions if you don't have enough. Satan knows that the only way he can get ahead is to lie, cheat, and steal. Therefore, our greatest offense as believers is to operate in God's kingdom where everyone wins.

Have you ever found yourself continually convincing yourself that you need to do better? If so, it's a sign that you're not operating in your life purpose. When you operating in your purpose you are pulled forward by faith and continually making progress in your assignment.
In today's episode, we talk about how finding your life purpose directs and maximizes your time and influence. When people struggle finding the purpose of life they look around and try to duplicate the purpose of those they see around them. However, this never seems to have lasting results and leads to feeling guilty that you're not doing enough and convincing yourself that you should be doing more. Everything changes when you find your life purpose because you're able to operate in a flow state that drives you forward.
When you're able to find the purpose and assignment that God has for your life then that purpose kind of acts like bumpers in a bowling lane. The bumpers keep the ball moving down the lane to hit pins and knock them down. Knowing your purpose helps you stay on track.

What do the Dead Sea and Sea of Galilee have to do with your personal growth? The both receive water from the Jordan river, but one is an environment that helps support life while the other is an environment where nothing can survive. In order to fulfill your life purpose it's important that you're creating an environment that supports life instead of death.
In today's episode, I want to share with you how this analogy pertains to your personal growth, and the one action you can take to prevent an environment where your growth goes to die. We'll also talk about how your actions truly indicate what you believe, and that you might have a "goal belief" that is different than your true belief.
Faith was credited to Abraham when he believed God's promises and acted as if they were true. It's crucial, as you pursue the purpose of life, that you continually evaluate what your true beliefs are and take the necessary steps to align your goal beliefs with your true beliefs.

This is an important topic because it is necessary if you want to succeed in your life purpose. God created you for a specific purpose and has a specific assignment for you. He's also provided a right way to live that will maximize your assignment and impact. This way of living requires faith that God says what he means and means what he says.

How has your comfort zone been serving you in your life purpose? Anytime you're pursuing a change in life there will invariably come a time where you will need to decide to press forward or stop and move back. The results you see, as you step out and pursue your purpose of life, will be directly related to how you view what is comfortable and convenient.
In today's episode, I want to share with you how your comfort zone actually creates obstacles in your journey instead of creating a place of refuge. The enemy will do anything possible to thwart and stop your God-given assignment, and he will often use your comfort zones as a way to slow or stop your progress. However, God is looking for group of people who are willing to be problem solvers.
Part of the way God will work in your life to grow you in your assignment is by placing problems in front of you that need to be solved. These "problems" are truly the answer to becoming more like Him. These problems are like Goliath's in our path. They may seem like the obstacle to obtaining what we truly desire, but they're actually the path way. Your comfort zone is what holds you back and inevitably keeps you from fully becoming all you were created to be.

If you're like me then it doesn't feel great and it creates the idea and temptation to stop the pursuit of reaching your goals and fulfilling your life purpose. God set it up for the purpose of life to become more like Him, and this requires faith to allow the process to strip away the pieces of our life that don’t reflect Him.
In today's episode, I want to share with you a new thought to hold when you feel like you're in the messy middle and ready to give up. There are plenty of circumstances in life where we don't hesitate to pursue through the messy middle. You know what I'm talking about if you've ever committed to an exercise regimen or finished a home remodel.

When Abraham made the trip to the land that God promised him he was actually completing the trip that his father started. James 1:2-4 says, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
The Greek word consider is an accounting term to count - assign a value to something. This verse is telling us that there is wisdom in assigning a positive value to your trials because they produce perseverance that allows you to lack nothing. These tests and trials set you up to succeed in your life purpose. They allow you to pursue the assignment, your purpose of life, in a way that lacks nothing.
Life coaching can help you see the gift that can be found in pain and trials. Garner wisdom from this episode to embrace your trials and make progress in your life purpose.

If you've ever let the idea of perfectionism sabotage your results or caused you to get stuck in your life purpose then this show is for you.
Perfectionisms just a fear in disguise. It's a lie that will tell you that if we don't meet a certain standard then we'll be rejected or abandoned. It tells you that you won't be good enough and there's something at stake to loose. There's a lie that if you're not perfect that you may lose your purpose in life.
However, If you see perfectionism as fear then you can handle it. You can handle fear but you can never be perfect.
Perfectionism is really just an idea of being perfect. We play out in our minds the perfect scenario, and fear creeps in when we are unsure if that dream could be a reality. There's the idea of the perfect job, the perfect leader, the perfect spouse, the perfect "fill in the blank" and if we don't reach it then our mind tells us we can never have it, and we might miss our purpose in life.
Which, as a life coach, I would ask my client, "Is that 100% true?" Is it a 100% true that if you fail at achieving this perfect dream on your first attempt then you'll never attain your life purpose?
No, it's not 100% true and, as your life coach, we would work together to find a thought that is empowering, and give them the courage set aside the fear that comes from the idea of perfectionism and take the actions to achieve their goals.

Today I'm going to walk you through that story framework, show you how it works, and reveal to you how it shows up in the Bible. We'll finish the episode talking about how it applies to your life and your purpose.

Hi welcome to the first episode of the attractively different podcast. I created this show, specifically, to shine light on the idea that when your thinking stays at the surface level you'll only be able to produce mediocre results. This is a near and dear subject to me because there's a been lot of pain involved in this subject because when I did not understand how my surface level thinking was actually the reason for keeping me stuck.
I'll be sharing about how thinking differently is the key to leading a life without limits.
Prior to understanding this stuff, it was very painful for me as I tried to navigate a life defined by extraordinary results. See, I was always someone who got good results to great results - but extraordinary always seemed just out of reach.
In the episode I share part one of the back story to how I learned how to think beyond the surface level and move beyond the point of feeling stuck in my life.

This is a show on a mission to help people create a life without limits by simply changing how they think about what they see.
Why? Because how we do anything is how we do everything, and if you don’t think differently then you will always believe their resources are limited and never lead an extraordinary life.
Tom will share the danger of believing what appears to be true an failing to live into the Truth of your identity. Tom explores what could be possible if you had extraordinary results in your faith, relationships, home, health and fitness, finances and your career.
This is a show for those who are looking for better answers in the most crucial areas of life. This is for those looking for wisdom because they’re not satisfied by the results produced by their surface level thinking.
