I was talking to a lady at the gym that was talking about her mega church and how much she enjoyed attending it. When she finally invited me to her church, I told her that I had become Catholic, at which point she told me all about how she was born and raised Catholic but that I just had to experience her new church! Her face got all red and her lips started trembling as I explained to her that I had always gone to her type of church and that I was NOT interested!

If you had told me prior to 2013, that I would become a card carrying, rosary praying, Latin chanting, Mass attending full blooded Convert to the Catholic Church, then I would have told you to go BLANK yourself!!!! Not only HATE the Catholic Church, but I railed against it at every opportunity! Why did I hate & mock the Catholic Church? Because I knew NOTHING about it !!!! It doesn't take very long for new Catholics to start hearing something bad about Pope Francis on the news! I learned the hard way
not to believe everything the Media has to say when they are breaking a story. They are supposed to report the facts and the truth,
but a lot of the time they themselves know neither. Its very common for the media, Catholic media included, to immediately start speculating
and spinning their agendas to fuel their reader's fire.
Many times I have watched the news, just to get extremely mad and discouraged over something the Pope has said or done, only to learn a few days or
weels later that there was much more to the story than the media reported!

Many people are unawares of the fact that the Church was here long before the Book that we now call the Bible. As a matter of fact, the Catholic Church had been in existence for at least 10 years before the first letter of the New Testament was written, and had spread all over the Roman Empire for decades prior to John writing the Book of Revelation. Jesus started One Church. That Church decided what writings would be considered as inspired Scripture.
