Welcome to another prayer edition!
Today is the last prayer edition of the week, and we are praying for those who struggle with loneliness. Loneliness is easily linked to the way we choose to live our life! As mentioned in the prayer, spending time with God is key! I said in my testimony (5:50min), that I found peace, and peace is found in Christ, by spending time with God! Thatās when He grew me in knowing that God will never for sake me, that He is for me, He wants me to be strong and courageous! The Lord told me through his word that I should know that the Lord will never forsake His children!
"For the Lord will not forsake his people, for his great nameās sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you a people for himself." 1 Samuel 12:22 ESV
"Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:20 ESV Ā

Welcome to another prayer edition!
As you already might know by now, we will have 3 prayer instalments this week. Both I and many of my friends struggling with several physical issues. Injuries due to studying, work, or sports. Physical pain is a great demotivator and it might make you doubt your abilities. Remember last weekās Instagram post: God is not looking for your ability but for your availability! God can still use you! Know that you are still useful!!
It's often hard to stay motivated in times of physical pain. Therefore, I want to share this Bible verse with you;
Ā« The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. Ā» - Psalm 28:7 ESV

We are starting off with a short recap, summarizing all we have gone through in the last 6 podcast instalments. But the beautiful thing, the new thing we are doing in this instalment isā¦. learn that the best way to face life's challenges is by spending time with God. PRAYER!
Therefore, this instalment will focus on prayer: we are praying for those who are moving in this season. Praying for those who are moving due to school, job, or other reasons. Praying that they may find a safe and comfortable place to live, with a church, a biblical church with caring people. Letās make prayer the new normal!!

Genesis 15-17
Devocional question:
Do you remember a time you ran ahead of God? How did it make you feel and how did it work out?
As we were reflecting on Abrahamās impatience and how he ran ahead of God, we notice that his actions lead to consequences. Consequences that corrupted Sarai's relationship, and lead to bitterness.
This raises the question; when I run ahead of God, does this lead to friction in my relationship with God? As I grow further from God due to this, do I become bitter when it doesn't work out?
To prevent becoming bitter and prevent the consequences that might follow. Be patient and walk with God and know that he has walked the path before! He knows what's waiting for you, and will prepare you for whatever you might find ahead of you! Know that God is El-Shaddai! Be a faithful servant who does her best to live a blameless life.

Genesis 12-14
We as people aren't the greatest at being faithful, but thankfully we serve a God who is faithful even though we aren't. Take some time to reflect on the things that you can improve, well you can grow in faithfulness, and rely on God!
Abram called upon the name of the Lord. Ā» in Genesis 13:4 ESV.
Are there any things you are trying to control yourself, that you should have given to God? Please reflect on this podcast instalment and turn away from the plans you have. Truly God has better plans for you!
An excellent way to figure out the path God has for you is to spend time in his word. If possible, take some days and fast. Trust that the way God has for you is 100 times better than the path you once thought (God's perspective is best)!

Genesis 10&11 - Don't be proud, be humble!
Many of us often walk around looking for the next great thing to do, the next great something that can draw attention to ourselves. In our sinful nature, we always desire to be special or significant. But why? Arenāt we good enough the way we are? No!!š«£ Surely we can improve, especially in the area of obedience! Since we have a sinful nature. A great way to grow in obedience is by spending time meditating on Godās word, so that God may transform your heart into hating the things He hates. Thus renew you inside-out. Grow you to love others while following God's decrees, and clearing the path towards Jesus Christ!
A secular principle that can relate to todayās instalment is the growth mindset. A growth mindset is precisely what it is all about! We can always grow into becoming a better version of ourselves? A version that glorifies The LORD!

Let us talk about growing in courage and obedience through trusting in God's faithfulness!
Genesis 6-9 is about Noah, God's chosen one to restart a new generation.Ā
The three things will learn from Noah: One courageousness: how he, with the little inside, trusted that Godās promise would come to pass. Two his obedience: how he stayed strong and followed all the commands and instructions God gave him throughout the book. Tree trust: He didnāt doubt God, He was faithful giving thanksgiving to the one who created all!Ā
