A worthwhile episode from an amazing journey, Dayara Bugyal Trek with India Hikes, the most beautiful landscaped meadow in the country. I have share all the details of the trek along with 3 experiences that I had in this trek. It's eye opening, a bit different and a must watch episode. Being at almost 12000 feet looking at snow everywhere and experiencing sunrise from those mountains, it's not a every day story you can listen to.

A new episode with one of my closest friend Tanishka Chougule, episode full of motivation, stories, struggle, fun and entertainment. A very Socially active, confident, hardworking personality pursuing her MBA after completing her Engineering. Yet another unique story with lots to learn.
If you meet Tanishka today you won't believe that this person was once a introvert personality, comparing today she is complete extrovert, know how this transition happened from her itself. Both of us being class representatives talk on how beneficial it is to have that role and exploit advantages. Like many others she flowed in the 11th 12th journey and landed up in KIT to pursue computer science engineering with some expectations which later turned out to be completely different. Among many other activities she was a part of many organizing committees, she was running her own startup, she was also doing photo-shoots as her hobby and also college exams stuff. She reveals how she manages multiple tasks personal and professional with efficiency. Realizing soon enough that she doesn't like coding she explored other options and found her inclination in Marketing. She did 4-5 different internships in this domain and acquired substantial knowledge so to consider this as career option. Telling the story of how she started her business, converting market gap to opportunity is what one should learn. If one is determined there is hardly anything that can stop you from achieving that, appreciable enough to completely turn her aptitude skills to crack exams for MBA she did a commendable job. Working hard and going through all that struggle she got the college she deserved. The power of saying "No", keeping yourself first is necessary in todays world. A journey travelled by thousands of aspirants who want to pursue Enginering is of preparing for JEE, the guest to this podcast is one of those students who travelled the path, he shares his own unique experience and I must say that its a wonderful journey.
Curiosity is what got him into engineering but before that he shares his struggle of 2 major years to prepare for JEE. He shared his tumbing experience of 2 major decisions of choosing college and department, but with a great piece of advice from his Dad, he sorted that out and have completed 4 years amazingly. On the other hand I have also added my 2 years story which is similar to his. We discussed the past that we kept on carrying but we should've left it then and there. He shared his stories of exploring Kolhapur city and how he lived the 1st year of college. Mistakes is what we can only discuss and try not to repeat them and help others not to commit the same mistakes, he shares what is mostly important in terms of Computer Science as a student. PBL - Project based learning was an important aspect which we regret that we didn't take it seriously. Sharing his best memories he mentions that one needs to live hostel life once in a life. Summarizing his whole story he mentions that we can rebuild anything from zero, no matter how much we have failed we can push ourselves back up and live our life.

The regret of missing the crucial year of engineering the final year is there on every 2020 and 2021 passout batch students. Flowing the crowd he took the decision of Engineering but being so rebellious to bunk the 1st day of college just for fun, knowing somewhere that he doesn't want to take placements path and join the rat race, he started to explore the world through the medium of books.
He narrated a daredevil experience of an actual dive on a winter morning which touched his soul on a different level. The realization of what you have and being happy for the life you are living is really important. From a complete gaming addicted life without a direction to walking on a spiritual path along with the modern life. Find out how he changed his entire approach to life and how he has simplified it to basic 4 things i.e Dharma (धर्म), Moksh (मोक्ष), Artha (अर्थ), Stree/Purush (स्त्री / पुरुष). A simple picture of the book cover of Bhagavad Gita has been converted to a deep meaning of life, learn from him how one should actually live a life. We continued breaking down 4 things one by one talking about the branches of spirituality. He has explained all this with different examples and comparisons. We also talked about Death and what is inevitable but what you should focus on is beautifully explained by him.

A perfect example of Simplicity and Selflessness, It's my pleasure to introduce you to Viraj Chougule. One another student from Mechanical Engineering background but with completely different approach to life and career.
There are some deep conversations but most of it is funny just like the person he is. We started with "why engineering" and how he decided to choose core branch of engineering knowing less job opportunities that come with it. Continuing on to discussions of First Year with events and all. He gave a good story with learning on how not to get into traps of certificate for volunteering if you don't know how to have fun. Two major recommendations by him - No Group Studies and No Last minute Studies, listen to the podcast why he has this opinion. We further discussed on how to choose Internships, which company to prefer with perspective of learning. We got into some discussion of having relationships in engineering and what commitment should mean to everyone. Viraj belongs to a business family background but how he wants to explore his own path is appreciable. Next we discussed a recent incident which was really coincident and if we compare how our lives are so similar at this stage. I had to ask him how he holds this calmness and how he keeps cool head. And I must say you won't recognize his family background with just looking at him, cause he carries himself so simple and he is so grounded with his attitude. He explains how he keeps going through this struggling period and what keeps him to get up everyday and move on.

5th Episode of Stories of Common Engineering Students, this episode is a chill and light-hearted conversation with Harshada Panhalkar.
If you want to know a common experience of First year of Engineering then tune to this episode and just enjoy. We also talked about how students right after school at a age of 17 have to take a decision to choose a career path without any exposure as such. But taking help from parents and elders, their experiences and knowledge is always best way. University pattern vs Autonomous pattern, it is a crucial decision to take with respect to the way you want your output of engineering to be the college and practices followed by it or for that matter the curriculum adopted by that college also plays a crucial role in your career. The short mass bunk story told by her will definitely remind you or will be a déjà vu for you if ever plan one (note - mass bunks will always fail). Further we discussed lockdown and how exciting it seemed at start for us and later on how we utilized it for preparing for Placements. The Game of Internships, to every student out there, this is a lesson to learn from, you will learn where not to waste your time while getting internships. And lastly this was a fun segment which I tried for first time, a rapid fire round, few common student questions which were answered rapidly by her.

Getting into deep conversations with Shambhuraj Patil is so amazing for me and I am sure he has shared so many experiences that everyone can learn from them. If one day you want to see yourself in Defence Services this episode will be a eye opener for you.
The conversations started with the way he unknowingly got admitted to SPI - a military school in Aurangabad, but later that turned out to be one of the best things in his life which turned his life forever. So we moved to discussing his learnings from SPI. Shambhuraj shared various ways to prepare and take on Defence Services as a career. It is important to realize that Destination in important and you can take on various paths to reach there also it is necessary to have Plan B. After that we moved to how he landed in an Engineering college still pursuing passion for Defence Services. He shared his experience with M1 and M2 which are pain for every engineer student. Also a wonderful concept of Zone Out which will help everyone in multi-tasking. He further shared how he inculcated the habit of being systematic and organizational. Moving on we continued talking about quarrels in different committees in college and why students shouldn't let them affect self goals. Shambhuraj likes to read books and he shares his favourite book. We continued talking on how important it is to learn from Maratha Warriors and how in an amazing way they lived their lives. He shared how he is working on his passion along with other important things in life. Lastly Shambhuraj told two very interesting stories which are like life lessons for everyone.
