St. Vrain Valley Schools has become a national model for excellence in public education under the leadership of Superintendent, Don Haddad, Ed.D., who has received numerous recognitions throughout his 38 years in education, including the Colorado Communicator of the Year (2011), Superintendent of the Year by the National Association of School Superintendents (2013), an Education Week Leader to Learn From (2015), selected as 1 of 100 Superintendents to participate in the Future Ready Superintendent Summit at the White House (2014), Boulder Chamber of Commerce Most Innovative Business in Boulder County (2019), Longmont Economic Development Chair’s Choice Economic Development Impact Award (2019), and International Society of Technology in Education District of Distinction Award (2019).
