Also every week they will try to get a guest on the show. This could be a local person from the community or someone over the phone. Scripture: Matthew 19:21, Matthew 6:19-20, 24, Deuteronomy 8:16-18, Matthew 11:28-30, Philippians 4:11-13, James 5:1-3 Saving is not something that’s talked about much in church. Of course, financial gurus would instruct you to build a sound savings plan in preparation for retirement. But where is the balance between being a wise saver or a simple hoarder? On the other end of the spectrum, we’re told that our generation, and the ones after us, won’t be able to retire because we’ve entirely neglected the principles of saving and investing. The question then becomes not how much money you should have but how to honor God with your money.
Scripture – 1 Timothy 6:9-10, Genesis 2:2, Deuteronomy 25:13-16
God invites you to a better way of working. A way where you earn money through purposeful work, through serving God, rather than chasing money. Both methods—the relentless chase and the purposeful servant—involve work, but the pace is different, the pursuit is different, and ultimately the posture of the heart is different. Both ways result in income, but God’s way doesn’t come at the expense of all people and things most important in your life.

A big part of life-giving ministry happens when we serve the body of Christ. It is not just a part or component of life- it is life itself. When we make ministry our lifestyle, we begin to understand our God-Given purposes on this earth.

Pastor Aimee will talk about the short-term missions trip on March 17th. She will be highlighting what mission work is all about in the local community and in a third-world country. Life-giving generosity is not an obligation but an opportunity. When we practice generosity, we won't feel deprived. We'll feel excited to be partnering with God to further His kingdom. Why should we ever miss out on the life-giving adventure of generosity?
