my intention is by the end of this podcast not only will you have some tools to learn to say no but you will also know how to navigate through the guilt that comes with saying no, especially to loved ones, I hope that you will unapologetically allow yourself space to make yourself a priority without question. I get it a majority were taught as little girls that the definition of being a woman means to provide and nurture others we all saw our momsputting everyone else ahead of herself and caretaking everyone around her so it’s natural that we picked that up it’s the only thing we grew up knowing, and for some of us caretaking was the only way we were seen or given attention if we couldn’t be who someone else wanted us to be then we got no attention at allso we quickly learned that saying no was a bad thing because it pushed “love”away from us.

Do you feel stuck? Or feel likeyou just can’t seem to find that person who sees you for who you are and moreimportantly loves you for who you are? It seems like every time you take thechange to get vulnerable to let yourself fall in love again you quickly wake upto the hard reality that this is just like before and a heartbreak is rightaround the corner, but you don’t want that you don’t want to have to start overagain it’s terrifying and exhausting so instead you convince yourself that heloves you and waits so patiently for the day when he finally decides to change butin the meantime, you break little by little every single day. Sound familiar? Yeah Iget it I’ve been there more times than I can count on one hand and every time Ilearned to love myself a little less and as a result I either became thenarcissist or attracted someone worse than the person before and littledid I know at the time that the solution to my chain of bad luck was closerthen I thought. It was me. So buckle up, get some tissues, and let’s getpersonal.

Here's a little sneak peak:

"Learning to let go is one of the hardest lessons you can learn in your lifetime, but it is also one of the most vital lessons to learn. As children we were innocent all we wanted was love, affection and  belonging. we didn’t understand the meaning of blood relations, economic differences, sociological differences, race, ethnicity these were all things that we were by the adults in our life. We chased after the warm fuzzy feeling that made us feel safe and secure. Regardless of whether we understood the emotions behind what we felt. As naïve and innocent little kids we felt pain, rejection, helplessness, and being treated differently and those events shaped the person we became."

This week I share two easy tips to learn to let go as well as talk about the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual repercussions with internalizing negative people, situations and emotions.

Join me in talking about how an addiction is not limited to substances and alcohol.

here's a little preview:

What is an addiction?

An addiction is the inability to stop using a substance or engaging in a behavior even though it is causing psychological or physical harm.

Notice how it says behavior, in our society today when we hear the term addiction our attention immediately goes to drugs, alcohol, gambling, sex, or even the odd shopping addiction but our attention never goes to behavioral or emotional addictions.
