" I’ve always had an interest in working with others to improve. I once considered pursuing a career in psychology or counseling but ended up working my way up the ranks at a restaurant, then into the hotel business and then the casino industry. During all of that, my greatest strength was creating an amazing team, seeing the best in people and then helping them develop. I always tried to promote from within, giving people the opportunity to grow and move up. I love finding the diamond in the rough and helping these people blossom. After 25 years in the hospitality field, I decided I wanted to do something else, something a little more personal. I needed to start working on myself and focusing on my self-growth. So, through some self-discovery and a trail of universe-laid breadcrumbs, I found meditation, and then hypnosis. I was lucky enough to stumble across (or have it directly laid on my path) an amazing hypnosis training program.
Through this program, I learned an extraordinary version of hypnosis called 5-Path(®). This type of hypnosis is special because it focuses on the root cause of issues and neutralizes them from the core. It’s like intense therapy rolled into 5 or 6 sessions. It’s as simple as guided self-hypnosis and takes collaborative efforts between your hypnotherapist and you. That’s what makes it so amazing, you actually do the work, I just get to guide you down the right path to help you do it. "“This can’t be all there is to life!” kept replaying in my mind 8 ½ years ago. I had always believed
that if you worked really hard and you treated people well, your life would keep getting better.
Instead, I was beginning to see that it was time to take off the rose-colored glasses I had been
wearing.
I have been interested in growth since my teenage years and after reading books like “The Way
of the Peaceful Warrior” and “The Celestine Prophecy” in late high school, my heart lit up with a hope of there being more out there to learn and more ways to grow - than I’d ever imagined! I
went to college and entered two service professions - because even though I couldn’t put it into words back then, I knew helping others was going to be a crucial piece of my growth and joy.
While in my 20s, I was working in the fields of education and healthcare. I continued my search
for more ways to grow by following the work of Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson,
and I also spent some time researching and getting trained in Life Coaching by one of the
founders - Dave Ellis.
Then, life happened. I kept taking on more responsibility and saying yes to more work. I know
now that I had two very serious “dis”-eases: workaholism and perfectionism. I had developed
these to cope with traumas of my past - I was trying to fill a hole - from unhealed parts of myself.
Before I knew it, I was drowning.
Back then, I called it my dark time. Now, I call it my breakthrough. Sometimes it hurts to start
seeing the truth…but that pain can lead you somewhere beautiful - if you choose to be present,
ask for help, take the steps, and do the work.
In the last few years, I have returned to/realigned with my passion for growth, healing, and
spirituality, by going back to school to become a Life Coach. I have been teaching/mentoring in
various contexts for 23+ years. I started my own business - Growing Sage - as a Growth Coach.
I always say, “Thanks for Growing w/Me” to my clients and social media followers who are ready
to choose to be vulnerable and open themselves up to healing and growth.
I now know that there is no perfection, we are all a work in progress AND life is a lot more

“I know every- everything!” That’s what I said to my family when I was old enough to talk. I had big expansive, scary at that age, dreams that have reoccurred throughout my life. This feels like the never-ending mysterious adventure of my spiritual journey. I still want to know every-everything. This devotion of knowledge and experience began in my early years as my guide, my grandmother, introduced me to numerology, astrology, runes and other divination tools. She also was a teacher in
perspective of a much bigger picture then my daily teenage life. As my life unfolded and I was affected by the world I often found myself in situations that not only
taught me about myself but put me in support of the other people involved. There lies a certain wisdom, that I’m not even always aware of, that emerges in these moments. This inner wisdom is my True North and has led me through to the person I am still becoming. It has challenged me to do the work and unravel and peel each layer with conviction. This is my own alchemy. My continuous death and rebirth
throughout my whole life to find my power, or where that deep wisdom lies within me. Most of my friends and clients, sometimes even strangers, share their deepest wounds and fears with me. There is something sacred that happens when that trust is made, and true vulnerability feels secure. And I am continually humble by what people share with me. I was made to hold space for people. As I stepped into being a massage therapist in 2016, I found out that there was vision with this pain that
people hold. And then I found I could move it. All this magic felt overwhelming, and a bit scary honestly. Luckily, I have come across a few sacred souls (Dani Jo being one of them!) that have helped guide, support, and encourage these abilities. Still there were deeper pulls for more. Yoga had helped me through hard times and moving things within my body has always helped me internally as well. I went through my training to gain certification to teach. Although this opened a new way to reach people, but it still wasn’t satisfying the pull within me. I kept searching. I had an astrology reading. She mentioned astrology to me, at that point I was more drawn to herbalism and a possible apothecary. But she was right. I’ve studied for the last 2 years, first under Debra Silverman but have ventured into evolutionary, shamanic, and esoteric teachings of astrology. This felt so, so right and good.
Along the way I found Taoist stone medicine along with Astro-herbalism that are still underway. I even made my way through a mediumship class with Dani! I’m so excited to have the opportunity to combine all these tools to assist people along their own spiritual journey. Honestly, I will continue to be a devote and humble student for all the knowledge that keeps me in gratitude and choosing to life with intention

"At about the age of 12 years, I walked into my hometown head shop looking for a specific album, Janis Joplin and Big Brother and the Holding Company. I think I might have purchased this album on CD! However, as I did some sniffing around the shop, as it smelled amazing with the incense that kept filling up every corner, I came across the emphasis Tarot deck, Rider-Waite. Instantly I was intrigued so I purchased them. I wasn’t clear on what they were, how they came to be, but I left the store feeling as if I stumbled upon something that was far beyond me and would bring me answers. I kept that deck for many years, and it wasn’t until I was about 19 or 20 years old that I started to really have a look at them. I dove in headfirst learning the 10-card spread immediately. During those years I became thirsty learning about astrology, and I found early on that I am an Aries through and through. I would check out books from the library to learn about personality traits associated with each astrological sign, which sign did well with the other, and who would be the most compatible as lovers. My friends started to come to me then asking me questions about their love life based upon their zodiac signs and their pending lovers’ signs. I would get out my Rider-Waite deck and go the long spread and read each page as if it was some sort of a prophecy. This was the basis of what was to come for me for the present.
I have always been the curious mind of asking questions based upon someone’s religion or the faith they believed in. Questions such as, “How did this belief come to be?” “Is there proof of this?” And I have also been fascinated with death. Not in the weird way, but in the sense of questioning what happens when we die? I have had experiences after losing a loved one associated with lights and electricity. My strongest one was after I lost a friend to cancer, and I woke up in the middle of the night following his death to find out my entire street pitch black as all the streetlights were out. I remember asking the question, “Shane, did you do this?” with a response of a giggle and a clear, “Yes.” I filed it as me being crazy and simply grieving.
Fast forward to about two and a half years ago, after years of death in my own life, and I schedule my very first meeting with a psychic medium. I had no clue what I was about to get myself into, but I walked away from that reading with a lightness and a sense of profound answers to my questions. All of those pulling and nagging beliefs I have held on for so long yet suppressed so I could fit into society’s standards came rushing out of me. I knew that although I was already living part of my purpose in this life, there was much more to be done. I scheduled a monthly session for a psychic medium reading and learned about my spirit guides, my angels, and the protection that is constantly around me. It was then I began purchasing my own Tarot and Oracle cards and began to experiment with my own readings. Checking to see if the card I pulled that day resonated. Listened to see if I could hear my Spirit Guides or even feel them. And can I ever!

A little bit about me:
I first learned about Holistic Healing when my husband, Terry was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor in December of 2016. While traveling back and forth to the Mayo Clinic over 9 weeks for appointments and treatments, I started looking into holistic approaches that may help. I quickly learned that energy medicine can be a great benefit for those going through radiation and chemotherapy treatments. I took online classes during this time with Donna Eden and have continued to study with her and her team.
