Evette beautifully walks us through her journey of life circumstances but the power of breakthrough to live and walk out each day wrapped in the Identity of Christ that she has as a believer. Souls Sisters whole heartedly believe in community and thriving relationships. This applies to those we choose to speak into our lives and those we seek to be mentors. Mentors are those we respect and acknowledge to have wisdom in the areas we may need support in or desire to experience fruitful growth. it is important to know what you are looking for and what to expect from that mentor. A mentor is more that a "yes man" friend it is the person(s) that you allow to give sound counsel which may include a gentle rebuke, a suggested redirection etc. but never is it controlling or manipulative. In this episode we share our experiences and opinion of what having a mentor in your life may look like and produce. If chosen wisely!
Community is important for fellowship with others who share a common interest and something most people desire. This is no different amongst believers in Jesus and important aspect of our walk. Soul Sisters share their thoughts on the importance of community within the church and why staying connected is beneficial to one's growth and health. Sit back and join us in this conversation!

In this week's episode Soul Sisters tackle the topic of what life can look like living under a works mentality versus living in faith. So many times we can adopt a mindset of working and earning not realizing that under the new covenant with Christ we are under grace. We should approach life and circumstances with faith. We are often faced with so many options, that it can seem like information overload. It can feel confusing and hard to decipher or discern, what is right from wrong. When our desire is to establish and live a healthy life it is imperative that we understand the Word of God. The word talks about discipline, boundaries, and about our responses.
In this episode Soul Sisters share how boundaries and discipline brought transformation and health to areas of their lives. They also share experiences that showed them the importance of consistency and the upfront communication needed so that others knew how to treat them.
