Wolverine Buzz is a podcast made by students, for students. Our focus is on bringing you interesting interviews with people and professionals that matter. Listen in weekly to hear from UVU students and faculty who are doing great things, from professionals sharing stories from their industry, and just to have fun with us as we learn about fascinating people!
This week, Matthew Drachman meets with special guests Gary Herbert, former governor, and Justin Jones, head of the Herbert Institute on campus. The Herbert Institute is UVU's very own institute of public policy, something unique to the school. Together they discuss the process of establishing it, and share their vision for what they hope it can do for our students.

Our final episode for the Spring Semester! This week, Meg sits down with Sara Runyan, a senior about to graduate from UVU in the Digital Audio program and on her way into a graduate program. He is active with the IxD Collaborative on campus and has a lot of great information about that for us. We are also discussing his background, as a non-traditional student he has a great story and a previous career in the video game industry; having worked for companies like Microsoft, Sony, Wizards of the Coast, and more. Welcome back, Wolverines! The new semester has begun, and we're back with a new season of content. Additionally, we are bringing you an interview with Zachary Dale, who graduated in 2020 from BYU with a degree in IT. He has wide and varied interests and has been progressing his career in IT, recently being promoted to the senior engineering team at his company. We are looking forward to another amazing semester together, with exciting episodes on the horizon.
Although this is our final episode for Fall Semester 2021, we are going out with a bang! This week we have an exclusive interview with the esteemed Ryan Stream. He's a motivational speaker, a two-time veteran, and a musician. He's a winner of the LDS Music AND People's Choice Awards, he was on MTV, a winner of the Verizon Wireless Salute Award, and he will be featured in Forbes Magazine in March. In summary, he's gone from homeless to hero. Listen in to learn more and hear this awesome interview.
