This podcast is all about the choices we have to make all day everyday. In every aspect of our lives. We build what we want to see or wish never to see by making a choice. Making a choice can sometimes be complicated or that simple. Never leave anything to chance you have a choice; so take, make it, you have it.
Most African men grow up in an environment that equates being a father to a man who can impregnate. A 15yrs young boy is a father because he has a child. I celebrate the African father who defies the order, gets laughed at just because he takes care of his home, wife and children, and does things unnatural to an African man.

"The rich and the poor have this in common— the LORD created both of them". (Proverbs 22:2) Giving is not a ritual of the rich neither receiving of the poor. It is a constant expressing of an action approved of and exemplifies all that we have received, keep receiving and yet to receive from God.

She is sitted on the royal throne of excellence. She is the greatest treasure to find and the best thing to have. Adorn with wisdom she builds her home, with understanding she keeps and preserve all that is in it. Her warm embrace is like the setting of the sun, it's overwhelming.

You have heard, you're expecting, now move and act. James 1:22. The word which you hear and believe, builds an expectation. An expectation that requires an action. An action that requires a focus on the target. This woman after hearing of Jesus, spoke courage all by herself to herself. She pressed forward from behind, with only one focus in mind, to touch and be made whole. Not the past disappointments nor her present state of living could stop her. She only focused on what could be.

Hello and Heyoo, to you and to you. It's Wednesday already and I'm always excited to share my thoughts and bring comfort and a lot of awakening pills to those heavily slumbering to wake up and make a life saving choice. Today, I want to share one of my poems I wrote years ago while i was watching one of Tyler Perry's series "if loving you is wrong". I was really inspired by the series to write this piece because i saw just how much we abuse and take for granted the Love of God. So this is the question God seems to be asking all of us, "Is it wrong to love you?". Ready?

Despite how you may feel about yourself and how much you wish you were someone else, you are you for a reason. It may not be apparent right now but making a conscious effort to know you every day in every way will lead in your discovery of your life's worth and purpose. Many people spend years learning, researching and trying to discover things for different reasons. Make discovering your true self an ultimate goal worth pursuing. At the back of your mind should be lying this truth, "you are you for a reason".

Truth seems to be on the losing side. No money to travel the distance to break the chains and liberate the prisoners of fantasies and fairytales. Headstrong man and emotionally tortured woman; no room for truth. Truth is too truthful and bitter. Lies are the sweet candies that rot our innocence yet we can't live without it We choose feelings over thinking. Buy the truth and sell it not. Sorry! Truth in exchange for something better. Something we can manipulate. Truth, still staring in the shadows. Lies are the newly generated source of light to keep falsity shining in our hearts.

The past had a beginning and very obviously an end; so will today end if we don't put our acts together. Let focus on what is here and now making good use of it. When the sudden realisation of time quickly passing by hits us, we get all caught up running pell-mell to make up for lost time. Don't waste time for it can't be reversed. The end is very expected or should be expected. It is inevitable.

INTRODUCTION
For the many people going to-and-fro with different agendas in mind will describe it from very different point of need and purpose. For some it's their home, a place for business transaction, a space to escape into to feed their curiosity, a place where anything is possible, where no rules are made; all you need is to survive. A place where mostly the poor, fragile and naive, crooks, irresponsible adults and the likes assemble. It's a place where love gets left out in any kind of transaction. It's all about making it through the day, planning and resting during the night and doing it all over again the next day.
The street is for surviving, by hustling. Whether with a hope of making it or not, you just don't give up. And it's either by any other means necessary or by being patient, working smart with diligence and investing into a better life tomorrow. Most people don't get to choose or have a say in finding themselves in such an environment, they actually were born there by individuals whose lives have been tied to these streets. Immediately they can walk by themselves, they will also start hawking like everyone else.

Putting your show on is simply being bold to represent yourself in the best possible way that shows everybody who you are, what you believe in, what you stand for and the gifts and attributes unique to you that you possess. Putting your show on requires you to have certain qualities that makes you stand out. Also aiming to be complete and whole setting a tone that greets people when they get on board with you There are show offs who just want attention to make uncivilised noise about what they have and can do. In fact, they desire to be the only people that matters where ever they find themselves. But hey, don't let nobody swallow up your shine. You've got to show up and put your show on.

In our very first episode i want to start off with a message still relevant today and we all need to hear. For lack of understanding most people live a haunted and distorted lives, all because the confidence to walk in their own skin, live the life they choose and not what anyone chooses has heavily been manipulated causing us to live unfulfilled. Most of us will leave this earth without enjoying the best we have to offer ourselves and others. This i believe, is Very crucial to provoking our thoughts to wake up and fight for ourselves to better position our entire being to live and feel better, without apology or fear.

5 years ago i came across a book titled "CHOICES". Its been so long i just can't remember the name of the author. I've tried to search for the book online to no avail. I hope to get acquainted with the book again because it changed a big part of my thinking, how i processed available information and the power i have to influence my actions from my perspective. The choice is always between what is true and false. But in a complicated world were what isn't is, and what is, isn't; making a distinction between any two things can be a whole complex vibe on it's own. Whether you believe you're beautiful or not, strong or weak, important or a nobody, the decision to what you choose to accept by believing and acting on should absolutely be what you consciously agreed to without ever feeling regret. We always have a choice, no matter how confused or desperate we may be in a moment. The best thing is always assessing and weighing in on the options, have clarity of mind and heart, seek for good counsel and the final action will be up to you. With this new podcast, Choices, I want to connect with as many people as is possible to not just encourage and inspire to think beyond the conventional but provoke our minds and hearts to believe we can make a difference, get out of the mindset of, "I don't have a choice", and very importantly own and be bold to stand by our decision. Never make a decision based on what everybody is doing or saying. There are many choices, but in a matter of urgency and at the crossroad, only one stands tallest above all.
My name is Meldrick, a young Male with a desperate passion and a dream to see girls all over the world live in harmony within themselves, get rid of the inferiority girl garment worn by their mothers passed on to them, and put on the garment of self power, courage and the superior image of their God. For the young guys to believe that being a man is a gifted privilege to protect, care, lead and love everyone in thier world and beyond.
I'm an artist by creation. Into photo/Videography, Graphic designing, writing stories/songs/poetry, playing the guitar, i love serving God and His people. I prefer and loove reading to talking.
