Peace Radicals Episode 59 - The Live and Let Live Movement - A Deep Dive Analysis with Attorneys Marc Victor and Andrew Marcantel.

Live and Let Live is the world’s only real peace movement. The Movement is organized around a fundamental principle we call the Live and Let Live Principle. As greater numbers of people truly accept the Live and Let Live Principle, we will necessarily evolve towards a world predominated by both freedom and peace.

The Live and Let Live Principle essentially holds that aggression is wrong. There is simply no way to achieve a free or peaceful world so long as the law permits people, groups, or governments to aggress against others. With aggression outlawed, competent adults would be entitled to both define and peacefully pursue their happiness.

Competent adults should be in charge of their own lives, property, money, and time. They have the right to be left alone or to peacefully and fairly contract with other competent adults regarding their property.

A free society requires the proper balance between the rights of one person to do whatever they want with their property with the equally important rights of others not to be disturbed in their affairs by the activities of others. This is the essence of freedom. People adhering to the Live and Let Live Principle agree that the initiation of force, fraud, or coercion is wrong in all cases. It remains wrong even if the initiation of force, fraud, or coercion is employed to accomplish desirable moral goals. It is not possible to aggress our way to a peaceful society.

It isn’t only the actual initiation of either force, fraud, or coercion that violates the rights of others. The substantial threat of such an initiation also violates another’s rights. It is for this same reason that we recognize a justified act of self-defense even before an actual use of unjustified force. That we don’t always agree on exactly which particular circumstances allow a justified act of self-defense doesn’t mean we fail to recognize the principle that one need not wait until another’s fist hits their face before such person can legally and properly act to prevent the aggression.

Peace Radicals Episode 57 - Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D. Author of the Bestsellers The China Study, Whole and The Low Carb Fraud.

T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D. has been dedicated to the science of human health for more than 60 years. His primary focus is on the association between diet and disease, particularly cancer. Although largely known for the China Study–one of the most comprehensive studies of health and nutrition ever conducted and recognized by The New York Times as the “Grand Prix of epidemiology”–Dr. Campbell’s profound impact also includes extensive involvement in education, public policy, and laboratory research.

Dr. Campbell grew up on a dairy farm and was the first in his family to go to college, where he studied pre-veterinary medicine at Pennsylvania State University. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree, and while completing his first year at the University of Georgia veterinary school, he received a telegram from a well-known professor at Cornell University, offering a scholarship and research opportunity too good to turn down. And so he completed his education at Cornell University (M.S., Ph.D.) and MIT (Research Associate) in nutrition, biochemistry, and toxicology. He then spent 10 years on the faculty of Virginia Tech’s Department of Biochemistry and Nutrition before returning to Cornell in 1975 where he presently holds his Endowed Chair as the Jacob Gould Schurman Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry in the Division of Nutritional Sciences. Dr. Campbell’s research experience includes both laboratory experiments and large-scale human studies.

He has received over 70 grant-years of peer-reviewed research funding (mostly with NIH), served on grant review panels of multiple funding agencies, actively participated in the development of national and international nutrition policy, and authored over 350 research papers, most published in peer-reviewed science journals. Throughout his career, he has confronted a great deal of confusion surrounding nutrition and its effects. It is precisely this confusion that he has focused so much on, in recent years. In order to synthesize the findings of his long and rewarding career, and to give back to the public whose lives are threatened by rampant misinformation and special interests, Dr. Campbell co-wrote The China Study: Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss and Long-term Health (2005, 2016), which has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 50 foreign languages. He is also the author of The New York Times bestseller Whole (2013), The Low Carb Fraud (2013), and The Future of Nutrition. An Insider’s Look at the Science, Why We Keep Getting It Wrong and How to Start Getting It Right (2020).

Several documentary films feature Dr. Campbell and his research, including Forks Over Knives, Eating You Alive, Food Matters, and PlantPure Nation. He continues to share evidence-based information on health and nutrition whenever given the opportunity. He has delivered hundreds of lectures around the world and he is the founder of the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and the online Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate in partnership with eCornell.

Peace Radicals Episode 48 - Richard Mack - Former Sheriff of Graham County, Arizona.

Peace Radicals Episode 48 - Richard Mack - Former Sheriff of Graham County, Arizona. Richard Mack is a member of The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association.

During his tenure as sheriff, federal officers informed the sheriffs of the state that they would be required to enforce the so-called “Brady Bill” and run background checks at their expense under the law. In 1994, Mack and six other sheriffs from across the country challenged the constitutionality of the Brady Bill and ultimately, fought it all the way to the United States Supreme Court, where they won a monumental decision for freedom. Three years later, in a landmark 5-4 split decision based on the Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, Mack won his case.

Marc Victor on Liberty Roundtable with Sam Bushman

Guest: Marc J. Victor, “The Idea the World Needs Now” – “The World’s Only Real Peace Movement”, LiveAndLetLive.org – AttorneysForFreedom.com

Live and Let Live: The Road to Peace Prosperity and Happiness proposes a blueprint on how to interpret, implement and enforce the Live and Let Live Principle to peacefully transition to a world where competent adults both define and pursue their happiness to create a win/win world where we increase happiness while reducing preventable suffering. It lays out the intellectual framework and legal principles underpinning our transition to a more free and peaceful world.

The price we must pay to achieve freedom and peace is that we remove even our own moral views from the law. Instead of imposing our morals, we should inspire others to act morally. The law should simply prohibit all forms of aggression by all individuals and groups. When enough people commit their hearts and minds to live and let live, we will actually achieve and maintain a free and peaceful world. Join us and be part of the solution!

Peace Radicals Episode 42 - Matt Sands Nations of Sanity - The Nations of Sanity aims to bring about a real revolution with an intentionally simple ethos of basic and objective morality, which we define here as simple sanity.

Find out more about Nations of Sanity:

http://www.nationsofsanity.com

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwRTcy7waI3J3eOnMhyY9Gw

https://www.facebook.com/NationsOfSanity

Voluntary is fine, forced is a crime.

We present our case and ask all good people to kindly consider the points made and the proposals put forward and hope that we can motivate you to either join us in our efforts to support this movement or challenge it by scrutinizing any part of it.

"It is our assertion that the only way to create a truly free society, with truly equal rights, is to establish the NAP (Non-Aggression Principle) as the law. A law that is universally applied and established as the terms of a 3 part peace agreement.

For those unfamiliar with the NAP it is essentially a principle that defines crime by whether or not you are causing harm or loss to another (or at least threatening or attempting to).

Many may associate this principle with what is known as Natural Law or Common Law or simply just the basic sense of right and wrong that should apply to all equally.

Ultimately, it is what most people would recognize in their hearts as simple sanity.

If the NAP was established as the law then we would have a free society, almost by default, as governments would no longer be able to rule people and would basically cease to exist in their current form.

In its place, we can still have everything else we associate with government, including law enforcement, because it does not require the power to rule over people to be able to serve and you do not need to violate the NAP to be able to enforce it, which is why this is the only law that could actually be applied 100% equally.

Enforcing the NAP would, by definition, only involve self-defense or the defense of others, so does not require anyone to have more or less rights than anyone else.

There is much more that the Nations Of Sanity offers, with respect to going into more detail and offering various solutions and answers to questions and issues that may arise. We've even drawn up a 3 part agreement that could establish the NAP as law (The Sanity Agreement/Non Aggression Agreement).

But when it comes to what we demand and what we think EVERYONE should unite in demanding, that is basically it.

Make the Non-Aggression Principle the standard for law, a law that applies to everyone equally, and we will have, for the first time in recorded history, a truly free and sane society with true equal rights, true justice, and a level of sanity that is actually worthy of the name."

We need to impose the 3LP into the legal system so people can live their lives peacefully. They also further discuss property ownership, taxation, and voluntary kindness. We need to inspire people to act properly because the world will never be free of people who seek to aggress against others. We have to be eternally vigilant. Be a part of the solution.

In episode 6 of The Peace Radicals, Andy Marcantel plays devil's advocate with Marc J. Victor in order to answer the many questions that people may have about the movement. Marc explains why leading from a principle is important; which is something that neither political party does. He discusses the differences between Live and Let Live and Libertarianism. He says that Libertarianism is a freedom movement while 3L is a peace movement; the goals of the 3L movement are much loftier. Marc explains that peace requires aspirational values, such as open-mindedness, tolerance, voluntary kindness, rational thought, commitment to facts, and seeking to increase human happiness while reducing suffering. He says that we don't want to change laws to achieve these values because there is a problem with mandating morality. It is our moral (not legal) duty to help one another out.

In episode 5 of The Peace Radicals Marc J. Victor and Andy Marcantel discuss the current political state in the US and the failures of the government in 2020. They believe that it's a great year to launch a peace movement because a lot of people are ready for change. They elaborate on how the world is becoming more of a global community because of the fact that technology is advancing so quickly. Because of this, the 3L Principle needs to be implemented worldwide. In order to do this, we must change the hearts and minds of enough people. We need to urgently organize the laws and our lives in pursuit of liberty and happiness.

In episode 3 of The Peace Radicals, Marc J. Victor expands on the Live and Let Live Principle and how it should be implemented into the law. He explains that the law is not always right and that most moral conclusions should not be in the law. One example of this is taxation. He describes how taxation is theft and that there are other ways to fund things rather than by force. Taxation is aggression and we can never aggress our way towards a peaceful world. We need to outlaw all aggression and ferment peace around the world.

On episode 2 of The Peace Radicals Marc J. Victor speaks about how Live and Let Live is different from the republican and democratic parties. He explains the difference between legal and moral rules and concludes that moral rules should not be legal rules. He describes what it means to be an aggressor and how we must create laws that make it illegal to aggress against another person. To do this, we have to implement the Live and Let Live Principle into the Law. He also explains why we have to change how the constitution is interpreted. In order for The Live and Let Live Movement to become an effective movement we must teach each other values. It's all about perspective.
