Welcome to the RelationSHIFT podcast. I’m your host, Ketsia Gustave, and I am here to help you have an emotionally healthy, passionate relationship!
I’ve learned from experience that healthy relationships start with us looking inward-to heal and grow so that we can love well.
On this podcast, I’ll be coaching you through that journey by giving you the tools you need to reflect, communicate, work through conflict, and ultimately, become a better partner for your partner. Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ketsia5/support
Too often, we seek a level of validation from other people that we don't bother to give ourselves. In reality, the way you treat yourself sets the example for the people around you. If you only pour into others, you teach them that you don't need to be poured into. In today's episode I want to show you how to break the pattern of self-neglect for good, and set expectations for the people in your life on how you want to be loved.

Let's do an assessment of your relationship to see if one of these is missing:

Today we're breaking down what Paul meant when he talked about wives submitting to their husbands (Hint: It's NOT what we've been told!) and how it applies to decision-making with your partner/spouse.
Part 1: I break down Ephesians 5: 21-28 and how Paul was actually introducing submission as a contrast to hierarchical relationships in society at that time
Part 2: How mutual submission in a relationship makes decision-making healthier and leads to greater fulfillment and happiness in marriage
