This week, we’re wrapping up our series called “Start With Identity.” In this series, we're talking about a few big lies we believe about our identity, and replacing those lies with our true identity in Christ. When we have a good understanding of our identity in Christ, then we are in a much better position to know who we are, what we should do, and how to go about doing it. This week, we’re tackling the lie that says: “I am what others think.”

On this Easter Sunday, we’re celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus! Without the resurrection, our faith in Jesus wouldn’t mean much. Imagine if they found His tomb still full on that first Easter morning – our hope of Jesus beating sin and death would be gone. But since the tomb was empty, it changes everything: it means we don't have to live empty lives.

This week, our Student Pastor, Sam Sealy, answers the question: “What is love?” The world defines love in a myriad of ways, often in confused and misguided ways; conflating love with lust, a fleeting emotion or a feeling, or with blind and mindless acceptance and approval. Biblical love is quite different. It is hard. It is tough to come by, and difficult to attain. It is not for the faint of heart. It takes work and dedication. Biblical love is a choice that must be repeated daily.

This week, we’re talking about the name of God. When you think of God, what comes to your mind? If we’re not careful, it’s easy for us to create God in our own image rather than seeing Him for who He really is. We can’t allow our view of God to be determined by our emotions. Instead, we need to look at who He says He is. God has a name, and His name is Yahweh.

This week, we’re continuing our series called “Reconstructing Faith.” In this series, we're diving into the topic of doubt in the life of a Christian. We'll explore how doubt isn't something to fear but rather a path that can lead us to a deeper, richer faith. Through the stories of biblical figures, we'll see how doubt can actually strengthen our faith in God. This week, we’re looking at the story of John the Baptist and his experience with doubt.

This week, we’re continuing our conversation on obedience and following God. God doesn’t begrudgingly work in your life. He actually has a desire to work in and through you, and to partner with you in everything you do. Partnering with God involves total reliance on His sovereignty, but also a great deal of personal responsibility. Finding the balance between these two can be difficult, but when we do, we’ll experience fulfillment in life.

This week, we’re talking about the power of gratitude. We live in an epidemic of stress, worry, and an overall unsettledness about life. When we give thanks, we put ourselves in a posture of dependency on God rather than a posture of self-sufficiency. This moves us from a place of worry to a place of rest. Gratitude reminds us that we can trust God with every part of our lives.

This week, we’re talking about how we can truly experience the blessing of God in our lives. The reality is God’s blessings flow to those who are obedient to Him. We don’t treat our obedience as a way to earn God’s blessing, but we experience His blessing in our lives when we choose to walk in His ways. It’s God’s grace alone that saves you, but your obedience brings His blessing into your life today.

We’ll discover how seasons of waiting can be a catalyst for growth, ultimately leading us to a deeper understanding of God’s perfect plan for our lives. We’ll never reach our God-given potential if we lose our faith in the waiting!

This week, we’re talking about the power of forgiveness in our lives. Our lives are robbed of peace, joy, and rest when we choose to hold onto the bitter root of unforgiveness. We will find true freedom as we let go of resentment and embrace forgiveness. Releasing the burden of unforgiveness helps us to live a life filled with love, compassion, and renewed joy.

This week, we’re talking about how we can develop a heart of gratitude to God, which in turn leads to generous giving. Thankfulness is not an occasional act but a lifestyle of intentional and spontaneous appreciation that leads us into God's presence, empowers us to be grateful in all circumstances, and generates an overflow of generosity.

This week, we’re continuing our conversation on conviction. In order for God’s conviction to have the right impact on our lives, we need to reorient our beliefs about conviction. When we feel convicted, we typically try to hide or justify our behaviors. Instead, we should see conviction as a gift from God that enables us to live His best for our lives. This week, we’re talking about the two different ways we can respond to God’s conviction in our lives.

We live in an increasingly individualistic society, and even Christians find themselves comfortably disconnected from their church communities and don’t feel any deep connection with other believers. Today’s message reminds us why church matters, why gathering matters, and why being a part of a local church is vital to the Christian life.

This week, we’re continuing our series called “Hope Fully.” In this series, we’re talking about how we can remain hopeful regardless of our circumstances. The Christian hope is more than mere optimism that says things will “hopefully” work out. It is a sure hope, and so we “hope fully” through every trial and test of faith. This week, we’re talking about how God is faithful to keep His promises.

This week, we’re continuing our “Belief” series. Easter is a time of joy and triumph, but many of us enter the season with doubts and fears that feel inconsistent with the celebration. How does the Easter story address our doubts? How does the resurrection impact our faith? Stories of Jesus’s followers facing doubt after his death can bring us comfort and strength for our seasons of doubt. Ultimately, we learn that Jesus fiercely and tenderly meets his people in their doubt in order to transform their hearts and lives. Join us this week as we talk about how we can experience God’s presence in our lives.

This week, our Student Pastor, Sam Sealy, is preaching a message called “Main Character”. The idea of being the “main character” has become sort of a meme these days, and it’s not uncommon to hear someone with a big personality jokingly diagnosed with “main character syndrome.” As Christ-followers, we should make Christ the center (or main character) of our lives and find purpose wherever we are.
