At the Toyota Center in Houston, the WBO junior middleweight title was on the line as Jaime Munguia took on Takeshi Inoue and that was another fight that may have exceeded expectations. This will be covered plus what is in store for Week 8 as there are now a good number of key matchups to look forward to in the college football world.
Week 6 in the NFL had its share of surprises as well, in addition to two great games to close out the week. There is one less team that is unbeaten in the league and that will be talked about as they were included as a top team in the league before the end of Week 6. Afterwards, there will be a preview into Week 7 as a couple of divisional matchups and other games headline what is in store for the National Football League.

Join us as we go through the fight for the WBO welterweight title between Terence Crawford and Jose Benavidez Jr. that was at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. There was a lot of talk leading into the fight...did the fight live up to the hype? The host covers that in the first segment of the show. In addition to that, Shakur Stevenson was in the co-feature bout in his first ten round fight. His performance will be talked about as well.
In another segment, we go through the quarterfinals of the World Boxing Super Series that was held in Ekaterinburg Russia as Andrew Tabiti took on Ruslan Fayfer and Zolani Tete defended his title against Mikhail Aloyan. One of those fights was underwhelming and didn't give the winner much momentum into their next fight coming up. We will point out who that is.
A look ahead to Saturday's fights will be part of the second half of the show as the story on Billy Joe Saunders has affected the fight card in Boston. A middleweight fight is the main event, but it is not the one that people were looking forward to. We'll discuss that and more.
