I have not felt broken in many years. I truly allowed God, life, circumstances to heal my heart. I pulled from life what I needed to satisfy this need in me. Two years ago I made contact again with my imperfect father. He's been sober for 10 years and we have been on a fun journey of getting to know one another again. But...... it would have been wonderful to have these years earlier.
