Let us Talk about Health in Africa with Lenias Hwenda

Dr Lenias Hwenda

40 Episodes

The way we think about the health of Africans is deeply flawed. Governments spend little on the healthcare of Africans & leaders go to countries with better healthcare leaving citizens to fend for themselves. Many African governments have delegated the health of citizens to donors, international organisations & philanthropists and health problems affecting Africans have been neglected for decades. On this Podcast leaders, change-makers and ordinary people share their insights and analysis on how to close the gap between what is and what needs to be done to better protect African health.
