For this first episode back after deciding to unpublish, re-record, and rerelease all of my previous episodes, I decided to go with one of the first stories I ever researched, the disappearance and murder of Dorothy Jane Scott.
Dorothy was a devoted mother and a loving daughter who disappeared on the night of May 28, 1980 after helping a coworker get to the hospital. She had been receiving disturbing calls before her disappearance and it was obvious someone was stalking her. Who that someone was, we still don’t know and perhaps never will. Her remains weren’t discovered until years later and they did little to aid in the investigation.
This episode isn’t very long because, unfortunately, there was little to no evidence in the case and it remains unsolved to this day.

After a long break and a lot of contemplating the future The Dark Masquerade, I have finally made a decision for what's to come of this podcast. While it was an extremely difficult choice to make, I feel like, in the end, it was the best possible solution.
As of right now, we are tentatively scheduled to release our first remastered episode on September 13, 2023. I will post any updates as far as scheduling and releases from here on out right here in the description box.

Nancy Knuckles was the oldest of three children who had it pretty rough in her early childhood. On more than one occasion, her and her siblings witnessed their father brutalizing their mother until he was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and she finally divorced him. Nancy would grow into what seemed like an ordinary teenager, but her adult life would prove to be anything but ordinary. Unfortunately, she grew up to be an abusive mother of three despite the religious facade she wore. The mistreatment of her children and their lack of proper parental guidance made them angry and callous. In the end, at least one of Nancy's children would get their revenge.

For this second half of Haunted Universities, I talk about Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Not only was part of this campus once an insane asylum, but there was a fairly infamous true crime case that occurred there as well. Between hauntings and a possible pentagram made up of cemeteries, the Ohio University (and really just the Athens area as a whole) is full of strange happenings.

For this episode, I decided to cover some haunted universities! Not to worry, a true crime case is still on the way, but for now join me as I discuss University College, Toronto and the legend of Ivan Rezinkoff and Paul Diabolos. From there we will go to the University of Alabama to explore the assortment of ghosts said to be haunting various buildings at that school and finally to Hollins University in Virginia. There, the focus will be the hauntings that occur in Presser Hall, a music building that was built in 1926.

It was December 24, 2008 when a murderous Santa attacked the Oretga household in Covina, CA. What was meant to be a very merry Christmas Eve party turned into a nightmare for all who were attending.

Heeeey... I am aware it has been literal MONTHS since my abrupt leave of absence. I had no intentions of taking that long off, but life apparently had other plans. I wanted to give you guys an update on how I have been and where I currently stand with the future of this podcast.

In this episode, I continue the horrific tale of Gerald Galego and Charlene Williams. These two were a monstrous couple that kidnapped, raped, and murdered multiple teenagers and young girls.
Brenda Judd, Sandra Colley, Stacy Ann Redican, and Karen Chipman-Twiggs were all innocent teenage girls just going about their day before Charlene Williams lured them to their brutalization and death at the hands of her partner, Gerald Gallego This is their part of the story.
