REIGNITING THE FIRE AND THIRST FOR I AM

View Details

Welcome to: yes….You! I Am

It is my hope the time we spend together will serve as a virtual retreat of sorts for those who have experienced the undeniable unequivocal cannot "unhear it", Call of God on their lives to become stewards of His Word through the ministry

Disclaimer: (and there’s no way to sugarcoat this, so I’ll just relay the message as it was given):

If you have been called by God to ministry and are continuing to excuse it as something you just cannot do, then this podcast will not relieve you of the inevitable choice that lies before you, nor will it discourage those of you who thought ministry was simply a good choice of occupation to pursue… those called by God into ministry have quickly and resolutely found that it is not simply employment….you know….. a job one might go to in the morning and at a certain time each evening, leave it idling in neutral until you choose to return. No, that’s not the case at all! The fact is that God calls His shepherds to a new lifestyle…a complete re-arrangement of one’s priorities.

Succinctly put, those whom the FATHER has called by name…has come to KNOW HIS VOICE, recognize the limitations of their own power, and their ABSOLUTE DEPENDENCE upon HIM….thus, quickly learning to follow Him faithfully….wherever He leads!

Having been led into more than a decade of personal study, research, and experience, it has become acutely apparent that Ministry Life is not an easy life by any stretch of one’s imagination. And if we are truly following the voice of the Chief Shepherd, it is not a cookie-cutter or predictable existence. He is ALWAYS the same yet ever-changing us, challenging us, and encouraging us to remain confident He knows what’s best for us and the people He has entrusted into our ministerial hands.

Unfortunately, when we in ministry (like Peter experienced) take our focus off Jesus and begin drowning in the turbulence of life, we find ourselves overwhelmed with unrealistic expectations put upon us by the congregates we are tasked to serve, the communities in which we live, the families that we so dearly love, and even ourselves. We become exhausted by unrelenting work schedules; emotionally and physically fatigued by the weight of our titles: some, teetering on the brink of burnout. Even more, are operating with spirits so weakened by prayer lives that are sparse at best. In the far reaches of this continuum, some of us are actively considering leaving the Ministry altogether.

If any of this sound familiar…then, Yes…You! I Am has heard your silent cries & He has prepared a place for us to experience a moment of timeout & temporary shelter from the storm.

I’m KēAlan…I’ll be your host. Join me as we come before the Father and find rest for a while…. Here we can find encouragement to combat the weariness that tries to overtake us. Some days we will even challenge each other to begin the process of allowing I Am to reignite that FIRE in us that was so prevalent when we first heard His voice…come on…together; let’s fall in love with serving I Am all over again.
