There is a lot of interest on the part of the citizens in this document from which, before even those who now guide the process, knew very little.
Deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power and decorated Hero of the Republic of Cuba, Gerardo Hernández, has stated that the process of people´s debates on Cuba's new Constitution strengthen the country's democracy.
Cubans in over one hundred countries made until today two thousand proposals on the Constitution project, leading to substitute present Magna Carta adopted since 1976.
The municipality of Sandino will hold around 400 meetings to analyze and debate the draft Constitution. All this makes it easier for citizens to express their opinions about the Magna Carta. To date they have carriedout more than 50 assemblies.

Security Guarantee, justice and sovereignty, are synonyms of the debate process of the new Constitution of Cuba, on which the people think and propose.
There is a lot of support from the population to this process. At the beginning, although we did have attendance, we did not have many participations with proposals or even doubts about any of the chapters. This was due to the fact that the project did not reach the majority of the population.
