On this trip, listeners will meet waiter Cedric Castanza, a native to the city, who served both color and life with the Juan’s Flying Burrito entrees. Cedric leads listeners then to the musicians of Jackson Square.
There, the notes of the Jackson Square All-stars entertained the 20-minute line of beneigh customers in front of the historic Cafe de Monde. Trombone player Revert Andrews and tuba expert Ben Hillier narrate the experience.
Then, the teacher reporters encounter the preparations for the funeral of former Lt. Gov. James “Jimmy” Edward Fitzmorris, who died Wednesday, June 30 at 99 years old.
