Heading into the second half of season 1, I review some of my highlights of the first half and my hopes for the second half. Then, I jump into "what fresh hell?" where I boldly ask what the hell kind of episode name is that?
I support eco-friendly travel methods but why was Elle on a 10 hour train ride? In this episode I talk through some of the highs and lows of one of the more polarizing episodes of Criminal Minds, "Derailed". Also, someone earns their second star of the episode honor so that's fun!

Do I love this episode? No. Do I like this episode? Still no. BUT, we do get some interesting insight into Hotch's childhood. So that's something.
This is one of the best episodes of season 1. Not question. Perfect acting, amazing storyline, a creepy unsub. Peak Criminal Minds.

I personally think CBS should've paid The Who to play the chorus every time someone tries to fool Gideon cuz that man will never be fooled again. Also why did they exhaust all of their storylines in three episodes someone make it make sense.
