How do you feel about a Black Super Man, a future Superman film by Ta-Nehisi Coates and JJ Abrams has a Black Superman. There are some reports about this. A few years ago, Michael B. Jordan remarked that he was interested in playing Superman in a movie and that he was especially interested in Superman Calvin Ellis, the Earth-23 Superman.

On this episode we interview **Deborah Hawkins, penned Debra Renée Byrd, began writing after a blank book project in elementary school and never stopped, fashioning stories based on her favorite TV shows and movies before creating more original works. She studied at the University of the Arts and Florida State University before settling down and graduating from Temple University. She now resides in her hometown of Dover, DE and works for the State.
She loves fantasies, superheroes, is a trekkie and a brown coat. She loves television and lives for Final Fantasy video games, having collected most of them. She has read a myriad of authors, but her favorites are Octavia Butler and N.K. Jemisin.**

Discussing upcoming African projects coming to Disney, Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire, a new Disney+ anthology series, has been unveiled. It's an anthology of ten original animated films from Zimbabwe, Uganda, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, and Egypt. The movie will release on Disney+ in late 2022. In 1967 in a secluded house near a cemetery in a small unassuming Pennsylvania town just north of Pittsburgh dark magic, of a sort, was taking place, a ritual where chocolate syrup turned to blood, roasted ham to human flesh, and a little makeup and mortician’s wax was all it took to make the dead walk the earth, and George Romero – a segment director for a little local production called Mister Roger’s Neighborhood turned cinematic necromancer – and Duane Jones – a 31 year old black teacher and to that point largely unknown actor from New York – became horror legends who changed the face of the genre and of pop culture forever.
