  • Brought Training Grounds, 5 New Mercs, New PVE area Alterac Valley with 6 new Bounties
• Several quality-of-life features have been added
  • When offered choices from a Mysterious Stranger, hovering over each character will show you the task you will receive for that Mercenary
  • When opening packs, the appearance of portraits no longer looks the same as when you open a new Mercenary. Opening a new merc still looks like a regular card, but portraits now appear as an oval-portrait shaped icon.
  • For previous mercs, third equipment is now behind Task 6 instead of Task 7

• Adjustments/changes
• Adjusted the appearance rate of Mysterious Stranger to be based on the relative level of the strongest Mercenary in your party compared to the suggested level of the Bounty. (People now doing Normal Felwood Banehollow (the 6th bounty) or even 5th or 6th bounty on Heroic.)
• Tues the 26th - Wins will only count towards Fighting Pit daily rewards if you defeat three or more enemy Mercenaries. This change will not affect how MMR is calculated after a win, regardless of how many enemies were defeated.
• Thurs the 28th, they then dropped that requirement to 1 merc instead of 3.
• ALSO STATED: “bigger Mercenaries communication update that we have planned for next week”
• Decktech confirmed on twitter that the Mercenaries PVP season will NOT roll over at the start of Nov like Standard, but that more would be communicated in the communication update coming next week.
• Patch 21.6 Announced - Coming Nov 2, bringing 5 New Mercs with it and a new potential synergy with Pirates.

Fixed a bug that blocked a small number of players from entering the Mercenaries mode using specific devices.

Fixed certain Mercenaries Tasks that could not be completed as written: King Mukla’s Task 9; Cairne Bloodhoof’s Task 2; Antonidas’s Task 3; and Baron Geddon’s Task 10.

Fixed a bug where dealing Critical Damage to Jaina prevented her Ice Block Talisman from triggering.
