The trio is taking a poddy break! In all seriousness, we were planning to post a trio episode this week and after recording we were like, "what the hell was that?" We realized that we weren't bringing the vulnerability and authenticity that we wanted to the conversation and realized that we had some major walls up when it came to sharing on the podcast. So, we have decided to take 3 weeks to regroup as a trio and realign with our mission to push the boundaries of mainstream health and wellness and bring you all along on our wellness journeys.

As we are regrouping, we would love to hear from you. What topics do you want us to explore? Who should we interview? Let us know in the comments!

🙇🏽‍♀️How could you bring more authenticity into your life?🙇🏾‍♂️

In this TRIO CHAT, we answer questions that help us uncover our true selves — our values, our deep-seated beliefs, and the person that might be hiding beneath the surface and being molded by external pressure. We hope this episode will inspire you to do some reflection of your own, alone or with your loved ones. As we go through answering these questions, maybe you'll want to pause and answer them yourself? Or use them as journal prompts.

Authenticity Questions:

  1. What core values guide you in day-to-day life?
  2. What would you need to change to live a more authentic life?
  3. What has your inner voice been telling you lately?
  4. What do you love most about your life?

If this episode resonated with you, let us know! Find us on Instagram @thebreathingroompod. Follow us and share your journey!

Core Values Exercise:

Grab a pen and paper and respond to the following prompts: Name 3 people you admire and 5 qualities you admire about each of them. What do you want people to say about you at your funeral? What are three things you value?

Now, out of everything you just wrote down, circle the 5 most important words to you. Then, narrow it down to 3. And finally, narrow it down to 1 word. That is your core value!

❓Askin all them questions❓

In this episode, Tiara, Bianka, and Darel answer some fun and interesting questions that will help you get to know your hosts! We hope this will inspire you to do some reflection of your own, alone or with your loved ones.

As we go through answering these questions, maybe you'll want to pause and answer them yourself? Or use them as journal prompts.

From the "The Book of Questions" by Gregory Stock:

  • If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about any one thing - about yourself, life, the future, or anything else - what would you want to know, and why?

  • What could someone figure out about you by the friends you've chosen?

  • Would you want to record everything you hear or see 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year in, year out?

  • If you could have free, unlimited service for 5 years from an extremely good cook, chauffeur, housekeeper, masseuse, or personal secretary, which would you choose?

Other questions:

  • Best book you've read in the last year?

  • What is something you changed your mind on recently?

  • What's your #1 love language?

  • [Hosts answer for each other] Among your friends what are you best known for?
