Life is kind of like the ocean, you have high tides and low tides. Maybe you get wiped out by a big wave or feel like you’re fighting against a riptide that’s pulling you further from the familiar shore.
Whether you feel like you’re sinking or swimming this summer, it’s always a good idea to pause and reflect on what you’re doing and what you’d like to be doing.
With a world and a culture that demands so much, it’s easy to feel like you’re sinking from the pressure and weight of responsibilities and expectations that we put on ourselves.
We’re not created to be perpetually sinking, we’re made to swim! In this episode, we talk about how to re-prioritize our time and our energy to reflect what matters most to us.

(Recorded last Valentine's Day, but still peach perfect for V Day 2022)
Do you ever feel like society puts you in a box based on your relationship status? It feels like there are unrealistic standards of what life should look like when you’re single or in a relationship. For example, you can only work on yourself when you’re single, or you can only be happy in a relationship. These are lies! God’s plan for you doesn’t stop or start when you enter or leave a relationship. With Valentine’s Day approaching, we’d like to remind you that you can still love life and grow where you’re planted, no matter what your love life looks like.

When someone wrongs you, it's tempting to be say, 'oh I don't give an f about them or what they did to me.' You may try to cover up the wound they caused, instead of heal it. Or maybe you keep the wound open and on display to justify why you're right and the person who hurt you is wrong. Maybe you do give an f about what they did, and you're struggling to let it go.
Hiding your pain or holding onto it doesn't lead to the healing that you're worthy of receiving. God has a better plan for you, he has an f you should give called, forgiveness.
In this episode, we talk about
🍑 how you can forgive even when you feel like your emotions won't allow for it
🍑 the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation
🍑 what the Bible says about forgiveness
🍑 how forgiveness is a gift and grace from God that leads to freedom and healing

I don’t know about you, but we’re feeling 2022 (read to the tune 2022 by Taylor Swift). As we wrap-up 2021 and look ahead to the new year, there’s a lot of pressure to start the year off strong and make tons of plans for the new year and new you. In this episode, we talk about the importance of setting new year’s resolutions that are realistic, flexible, and sustainable. We’ll discuss some things we’re hoping to leave behind in 2021, bring into 2022, and start doing in the new year.
If we’ve learned anything in the last two years, is that plans can easily go out the window because of factors outside of our control. God often answers prayers in ways different (and better, eventually) than we expect. We hope this episode inspires you to take the pressure off of new year’s and reflect on what you’d like to cultivate in the coming year.

Happy Advent season! Don’t worry if you’re not a swiftie, this episode is not about Taylor Swift’s iconic song, Back To December. Honestly in this episode we set out to talk about getting back on track with goals during the last month of the year and reigniting faith during Advent.
That conversation turned into a discussion about how the devil uses discouragement to keep us from living out what God has planned for us, and how hope is our greatest weapon against discouragement. We need God to help us cultivate the virtue of hope, so we can conquer whatever is holding us back and live with greater peace and joy in our everyday lives. Also fun fact: Advent is the season of hope.
We hope ;) this episode inspires you to put your hope in Christ!

We hope this conversation encourages you to find ways to be thankful no matter how this season makes you feel.
