Our injury prevention specialists dive deeper into the topic of soft tissue massage and its applications in the workplace. Soft tissue manipulation has been around for centuries, but research doesn't necessarily support it today. What considerations do we have to make and when is it appropriate to use it in the industrial setting? Find out here!
As a somewhat green industrial Athletic Trainer, Jody Moore continues the conversation (tune in to S3.5 for part 1!) on what he believes to be "selling points" for the industrial setting as an Athletic Trainer.
From there, we dive into his experience - common misconceptions, unique parts of the setting, what can be improved and more.

We are all victims of time loss - "where does the time go?", "time flies!", "How is it already [insert month/date here]?!".
It can be easy to become caught in the events and chaos that slowly (or not so slowly) fill our days, weeks, months, years. Surely, as a clinician or an industrial athlete, moments fly by without knowing.
What was a scheduled lunch break is now a time to quickly catch up on documentation. And what was a "slow" morning on the production line is now a "full speed ahead" period.
It can be easy to forget to catch a breath.
In this short and intentional episode, we have Amelia Meigs leading a moment of meditation and mindfulness. Save this one as you might find you listen to it more than once.
Use it when you are in the parking lot, waiting to go inside and clock in.
Use it when you are just sitting down for lunch and all you hear in your head is "loud" as your day in and out of work has been madness.
Use it before you head to bed after a long car ride home from work.
Then listen to it again. And again.
