One way we show God that we love Him is by talking about Him. It’s one of the first things we do when we become Christians. We tell people how great God is and how much He has done for us. We talk about the things we’re excited about. When that excitement wears off, will the version of us that people see move them closer to Jesus or farther away from Him?
As it says in 1 Peter 3, we should always be ready to give a clear presentation of the Gospel. It should always be obvious to others that we love God. It’s our job to be a good reflection of Jesus to everyone we meet.

It’s our responsibility to know the truth of God’s word. God has expectations for us, and He’s given us the Bible for our guide. We have been tasked with the single purpose of living our lives for Jesus. And when we stand before God, He will hold us accountable.
Times have changed. Friendships and loyalties are no longer reliable guides. And it’s not just about listening to everything that comes from the pulpit anymore. No one else will be responsible for our choices. So, we need to decide as it says in Joshua 25. Will we follow what’s popular or will we do what God has called us to do?

Only 6% of Americans hold a biblical worldview. If that number is accurate, we have to ask ourselves, “Is it possible to be a Christian without a biblical worldview?” Isn’t belief enough? Even the demons in hell believe in God. It should be obvious to those around you that you are a Christian, and if it isn’t, you need to ask yourself why.
Since the pandemic, many people who consider themselves to be Christians are living for the world or living in fear. When we have faith in God and we’re living for Him, there is no room for that kind of fear. So, how do we know if we’re doing the will of the Father?

No matter what happens, you can’t lose real joy. And there is a difference between happiness and joy. You can be happy or unhappy, but still have joy in your life, even after suffering numerous trials. Barry shares how he’s dealt with setbacks and kept his faith intact.
When we live our lives with the purpose of helping more people get into Heaven, we automatically have joy. As God has called us to save the lost, when we are fulfilling our purpose and seeking and saving the lost, He assures us in John 15:11 that our joy will be full.

Proverbs 3:5 says that we should trust in the Lord with all our hearts and that we should not lean on our own understanding. Yet, 80 percent of Christians are living in fear. God wants us to share our faith at every opportunity. But some of us aren’t having any fun. We’re going through each day letting ourselves be overcome by worry and not enjoying the gifts that God has given us. When we live this way, we are in danger of having spiritual atrophy.
In James 1:22, we’re instructed to be “doers of the Word and not merely hearers..." If we’re not putting our faith into practice, we’re missing opportunities to strengthen our own faith--and to demonstrate to everybody, every day how God’s love works in our lives. What God has put in us is still in us. But we aren’t getting the full benefit of the blessings He gives.

Often, we go through our lives just doing the things we need to do to survive. We sometimes fail to recognize opportunities to minister that are right under our noses. At some point, we may ask God if He means for us to stop what we are doing so that we can better serve Him. His answer may surprise us as we are likely already right where He needs us to be.
Romans 8:28 tells us that, “…in all things God works for the good of those who love Him…” and He proves this time after time. We must never be afraid to share His word and share our faith with everybody, every day to help bring them closer to Jesus. Be encouraged to do that in this episode.

Has the message gotten lost?
