What is Enlightenment, Nirvana, Moksha, Mukti in simple terms. Moksha is freedom from ignorance: self-realization, self-actualization and self-knowledge. The Online Samosa00:00 A What is Enlightenment? The terms which needs to be understood are--- 1. We live in a reality that is like an ocean, not a pool, it is a little cloudy with limited visibility. 2. We have consciousness. We are conscious that we are conscious with some exceptions: - A. When we are in deep sleep we are not conscious of our consciousness'. - B. When an anesthesiologist puts us down we are also not conscious that we are conscious. 3. Our experience is limited by our limited knowledge. Your experience is the sum total of all the above experiences (limited as they may be). More knowledge changes our experience to be richer. There are four universes: i. Physical , ii. Emotional, iii. Relationship, iv. the Ego related universe. Our "Self Definition" creates a drive and a filter of what we (can) perceive. Our knowing of this milky ocean is limited by our knowledge and is the combination of all these realities, helps us evolve.08:54 B Someone with a higher emotional knowledge can be a manipulator of other people's emotions and/or has better knowledge of how to handle emotions. Knowledge reduces the anxiety in our lives. The root cause of worrying is ignorance.10:35 C When there is clarity in the above four universes, then that state is called ENLIGHTENMENT. This clarity is needed for total self awareness.12:39 D Sat Chit Anand-- "Sat": Reality of existence; "Chit": Reality of Consciousness and "Anand": Unending Pure Bliss.Listen to our Show at Youtube: Spotify - https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/sh... / @theonlinesamosa Follow us on Social Media here - Twitter - https://twitter.com/online_samosaInst... - https://instagram.com/theonlinesamosa... - https://www.reddit.com/user/TheOnline... The Online Samosa00:00 A Man is a gregarious animal. Making friends is challenging if you do not know how to make friends. How friendship happens? We need to be a friendly personality. One needs to be giving (time, effort, gifts).

09:00 B Next life is this life. Within this life there are many deaths. We are as a person have an identity. Our emotional reaction is not the truth and it is the result of our upbringing. Shiva is the remover of ignorance. It is the concept of being educated.

13:05 C The entire principle of friendship is incapsulated in Ganesha. One should throw a party to make friends and bring people together. You are giving food, time, location, resources. One must have taking also. Ask people's advice on a problem in your life. If you want to move your friendship level to the next level then one has to test your friendship by asking for a favor. Introduce a new friend from a third party if you want to move your level of friendship.

19:40 D How do I become friendly personality? How can I be agreeable with people? Doing projects together can make good friends. Eventually a friend should be able to die for you or vice versa. Each relationship is dynamic in friendship. Some friends can become close friends from acquaintance to casual or the other way. When the value misalign, the friendship can break. Values are more important in our lives than friendship.

24:07 E Yamini's perspective on friends and the understanding of the friendship. Close friends are to be developed by giving and taking. People who are traveling to the same North Star are good friends. 5 Levels of Friendship The Online Samosa Show

0:00 A There are five kinds of friendship--- 1. Intimate friends; 2. Close friends; 3. Casual friends; 4. Acquaintance; 5. Strangers. It is recommended that one should have more casual friends. Close and intimate friends is a high responsibility. Friends are family we make.

5:00 B Ramayan is 101 of therapy. Most cited example of friendship is of Ram and Sugreev. They both have a common pain/challenge. Friendship begins with acquaintance. One can have a business relationship with close, casual friends and acquaintances. Ram teaches Sugreev to be less emotional.

15:42 C Another example of friendship is Ram and Hanuman. Friendship has to be based on values. Values are those ideals which you are willing to die for. Fairness is another value, telling the truth to not cost other person's life is a value. Hanuman and Ram is selfless people. Their value is let the Dharma prevail. Dharma means being true to your own qualities. Integrity is a very important value.

21:10 D What is Close and Intimate friendship? One cannot have the thought of just taking and not giving. One can have very healthy casual friend. In the intimate friendship there is truth telling and their is acceptance. Too many people consider stranger friends as casuals. When the responsibility kicks in then there is respect in the relationship.

34:30 F If you watch other videos online, they say that do not reveal their secret to the friends. This can never sustain a friendship. One has to reduce the ego, grow and elevate. One has to elevate to increase the capacity in us. To have more casual friends it is an honor. Find friends who are ready to elevate and learn with you and grow with you. What is selfishness and how can one recognize it? The Online Samosa00:00 A Love counters selfishness. Generosity is the opposite to selfishness. How to detect Selfishness? --a person will never clean up after them; they try to lecture what the duties are; their comforts matters to them the most; they assign the big things to others than doing it themselves; when they go on vacations, it is all about their comfort; in marriage they can demand or deny physical intimacy; when good things happen to others, they downplay others accomplishment.

015:43 B Selfishness can come from mental illness though it is rare. It can begin in childhood. Artificial management behavior can make the person selfish.

22:58 C Selfish people is always trying to control. Not playing team sport in the young age makes a person selfish. Learn how to join new teams. Death not processed can lead to a selfish person. Selfish can be cultural too. Bad past relationships with relatives and family can cause a person to become selfish.

27:48 D People do not want to discuss uncomfortable topics even if it is good for the family. They do not want to know their truth.

33:56 E Selfish person's comfort is more important than anything. They do not want to accept that they are not smart. The goal of life is to accomplish through discomfort. The challenge of Procrastination is 1. “We only do what we feel like doing” This is part of the ego hijack - which means that you are a slave of the emotional reactions of your circumstances, reactions made without use of elevation. Elevation starts with development of thinking, not just analysis. DIfference between analysis and thinking: Smoking SW. Chinmayananda: “To not do what you feel like doing is freedom” Summary of Bh. Gita: To do your best (at what needs to be done) and leave the rest (no attachment to the fruits of action. Another summary that is my version of it: “To do the right thing at the right time”. - this is the core solution to procrastination.

00:00 The plague of humanity, Early man did not have this luxury.

05:40 People only do what they feel like doing - is a given.

07:10 How can feel like not procrastinating. "ego above, intellect below".

12:55 First ego below, then ego reduced

21:42 To Not do what you feel like doing, is FREEDOM - Sw. Chinmayananda

23:40 Do your best leave the rest. Do the right thing at the right time. Bh Gita

31:10 1. Fear of failure. wring connection, break it.

35:48 2. Sense of Futility, reasons for it.

41:25 Effort and reward imbalance. Why we work.

50:50 Take blame, and get credit.

52:00 Get a positive feeling from all attempts. Delayed gratification.

56:22 Polish those shoes! The pleasure is in the job itself.

1:00:00 Review past history - make it positive. Fairness. Reward is doing a good job.

The next challenge is 2. How to change what you feel? Many things go into what you feel: Fear of failure: Past failure in your attempt at that. Fear of failure - leading to lowering of self esteem/worth A sense of futility: Past failure by others to give you recognition – when you did that, that you felt you deserved/and earned. 1:12:28 - Islam Prayer. Praise God, lower ego, your glory, protection, compassionate.

1:19:18 - Meditators have big ego or not?

The science applied to prayer helps in becoming a better listener by lowering the ego. (1) This enables the ability to hear and gather more information, thereby (2) converting it to knowledge or adding it to existing knowledge. (3) It also then opens the possibility of gaining new experiential knowledge. The experiential knowledge enables the person to shift the emotional reaction they may have, or learn that they are no longer behaving in ways that are detrimental to them. It also enables them to perceive the emotions of the person they are talking with, understanding their needs and imaging the world from their perspective.

These changes in observing their own reactions, and the ensuing behaviour are the first step in gaining EQ (emotional intelligence). Praying uses different techniques to lower the barriers learning from, respecting, and asking for help from others. In Hinduism it also strengthens the meditation practice, which can increase the amount and length of time a person can stay focused. It also strengthens their resolve to pursue their goals and commit to gaining the skills to achieve their goals. It focuses directly on the practice of gratitude in two different ways. The same principles of science apply to the general prayers in Christianity and Islam.
