AG Waseem, founder of Top Recruits Now, joins Jeff Forrester on the Pathways to Greatness podcast. AG shares his experience in helping student athletes navigate the challenging world of college recruiting. He emphasizes the importance of doing the right thing and striving for greatness. AG also discusses the impact of mentorship in his own life and the need for adults to be intentional in guiding and supporting young people. He shares personal stories of failure and success to teach valuable lessons to student athletes. AG believes in keeping it real with young people and providing them with the knowledge and guidance they need to succeed. The biggest problem in youth sports is the focus on making money rather than providing a service. Parents often have unrealistic expectations for their children, putting too much pressure on them to be star athletes. The key is to focus on developing the person, not just the athlete. It's important for parents to communicate with their children and guide them through their mistakes. Identity should not be solely based on sports or any external factors. Building a strong foundation and character is essential for long-term success. Parents should also help their children navigate the college recruiting process and understand the importance of education.

Greg Wanberg joins the show today and delivers some very compelling information for us all to consider and then put into action.
Here is a little bit about Greg:
My name is Greg Wanberg and I am the transformation coach for Dads.
I empower Dads to overcome depression by helping them:
Become the man they needed to give that man away.
Your problem is not what happened, not what you feel, not what you’re afraid of, and not what you weren’t given.
Your problem is that you have worked harder at your job and hobbies and feelings than you have worked on yourself.
You have approached mental and emotional health WITHOUT self-development.
You have approached your pain without an emphasis on those who need you.
And you wonder why you feel weak and lost?
-
With more than 21 years of experience in my own battle against depression, and teaching men and women of all ages, I can tell you there is a better way.
My program is the missing piece you thought you’d never find.
My programs has 3 pillars to strengthen your BODY, MIND, & SPIRIT:
Faith: right thought, hope
Fury: right action, self-development
Fortitude: right systems, lifestyle
My program is what I used to:
Have a thriving marriage DESPITE
Bond with my two children in the MIDDLE of a psychotic break
Grow in character, hope, and peace despite overwhelming emotional chaos
Create purpose from the pain I constantly felt
My program has allowed me to:
Help dads like YOU grow easier and faster than I did
Help dads like YOU develop relationships with their wives and kids that they did not think was possible
Find lasting peace and purpose with medication
I know that you genuinely want to change, but do not want to waste anymore money or time looking for it.
I know you have a dream life that doesn’t include you struggle so damn much inside yourself.
And I know the LAST thing you need is be told that you’re hopeless.

In this conversation, John and I talked about various topics including living a hundred percent, the choice between freezing time or going back in time, the preference between listening to a book or reading a book, and the journey of writing books.
I also delve into the concept of greatness and the importance of serving others. The conversation highlights the significance of leading by example and not judging others based on appearances.
Overall, the conversation emphasizes the importance of personal growth, resilience, and the power of love and service.
The conversation with John explores the transformation of Ryan, who fell away from his faith in God but found his way back through prayer and acts of service.
The chapters cover topics such as Ryan's transformation, the power of unanswered prayers, God's timing and will, finding gratitude and peace, finding fulfillment in serving others, imitating Christ, and the joy of seeing others come to Christ.
Takeaways
- Live a hundred percent and exhaust all your gifts.
- Choose to be present and lead by example.
- Serve others with love and compassion.
- Don't judge others based on appearances.
- Embrace personal growth, resilience, and the power of love and service. Prayer is a personal and individual experience, but the best advice is to - spend time with God in whatever way feels right for you.
- God's timing and will may not align with our own desires, but there is a greater purpose behind unanswered prayers.
- Gratitude and peace go hand in hand, and the most grateful people often have the greatest peace.
- Finding fulfillment in life comes from using your gifts and interests to serve others.
- Imitating Christ and living a life that glorifies God brings true transformation.
- There is great joy in witnessing others come to Christ and experience a spiritual rebirth.

Leaders Look Within
Author Bio
My name is Brent Pohlman, CEO of Midwest Laboratories.
I am grateful to have been given the opportunity by my father, Ken Pohlman to take over a
great company that my father founded in 1975. I have always wanted to be a leader and owner
of a great company, and I am grateful for this opportunity to build on my father’s legacy.
My purpose in writing this book is to tell my story of transformation as a leader and why I am
convinced that leaders need to look deeper within themselves and find their true self. Leading
from the heart is the only way to lead.
I have learned so much as a leader, both professionally and personally and I am grateful each
and every day for the opportunity that has been given to me. I am especially grateful to my
wife, Michele who has supported me through my career and the writing of this book to tell my
story.
As a person who has sought out how to be an effective leader, I have learned that being a great
leader starts with you, the person reading this book right now. It is critical to own “you” and be
the CEO of your heart. My goal is that people, no matter where they are in their career or at
home can look within and live with a heart of gratitude each and every day. It is the only way
to live.

In this episode I speak with Sean Litvak. Sean is a new connection for me and the conversations he and I have already had are great. Sean shares a wealth of knowledge he has gathered over the course of his life. We have a robust discussion about the importance of looking back at where you have come from to see your progress. One of the best thing for me in this episode is how important it is to believe in other people and share it with them.

Sean Litvak is the #1 Best-Selling author of Proverbs For Leadership and host of Litvak Leadership Live, a livestream podcast approaching 200 episodes, Mondays at 8:00 PM Eastern across YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
Early in life, people told Sean Litvak he talked too much. However, Sean has learned how to harness his tongue and has become far more moderated than when he was younger.
Sean discovered the importance of self-talk and how it could lead to sabotaging himself and others. This change in perspective has come through years of receiving feedback from others, sometimes encouraging and at other times discouraging or even harsh.
Often, Sean heard that he had too grand of expectations for himself and others. However, it was through these interactions that Sean learned his expectations were only for himself, not others, and the expectations others had for themselves were not his to improve upon unless asked to assist with a plan.
Sean subscribes to the philosophy that all leaders must be followers first before they earn areas of leadership authority. He also believes that even once someone achieves a leadership role, it is best for individuals to participate in other organizations or groups as team members, not the leader. Ultimately, Sean believes that always being in submission to another leader produces growth that is not found in self-improvement studies or only leading and not following.
Sean is passionate about helping people understand themself and improve and learn the importance of listening to others and not just engaging in conversation. His understanding of the value of listening has created an atmosphere that motivates others to group engagement and produced enjoyment on teams where Sean either leads or is an active participant following other leaders.
Sean Litvak is a native of the Chicagoland area, a graduate of the University of Illinois – Urbana/Champaign, and lives in southern Indiana outside Louisville, KY, with his wife, Lauren.

In this episode, I am speaking with Eli Grambling, founder of E3 nutrition. We have a good conversation about multiple topics, but the topics of what you say matters really stood out to me. A prime example is most people say "I workout to eat" when we should be saying "I eat to workout". There is a big difference in those small changes. How do you speak to yourself?

The goal I have is to encourage others to keep working towards greatness through sharing my and other people's adventure to greatness.
