The Brand of Jasmine D. Podcast is catered to the modern day woman, her lifestyle, her career, purpose, parenting, dating, and more. Through my own life experiences I am hopeful to share, teach, learn, and grow into the best version of myself. It is my hope that you join this journey with me and come into your best self as well.
As we identify our purpose and start walking in it there are changes that have to occur physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, and even spiritually. Taking on a new level requires a certain level of transformation to occur. Sometimes you have to leave behind the people and things you once loved and partook in, if it is costing you your future, peace, and happiness. After making room for your purpose you have to make sure you are in alignment with the right time for your purpose. Sometimes we question the entirety of our purpose due to moving too fast or too slow when it comes to our purpose. Never allow excitement or fear to cause you to move outside of the right time. On the journey to aligning your purpose to the right time, there are many opportunities we need to take advantage of. We often discuss manifestation and faith without works is dead. However, there is not much direction given on what to do when the "moment" comes. Many times we feel depleted because our cups are empty. We add value and happiness to everyone else's lives around us but, when it is time for us to receive the same level of intensity, it's null in void. Self care means to take care of ourselves by any means necessary! With adding self care into your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly routines you learn to take time for your needs without feeling selfish in return. When cooking, the longest part of a process can sometimes be the prep or preparation time. The same thing happens in life. Our preparation season can seem to be a long drawn out process before arriving at our next level. Although the preparation season can seem long and drawn out, DO NOT try to skip it! it is easy to judge others but, have you considered what they may be facing outside of your very limited viewing? As a society we often look at physical appearances such as family pictures, promotions, money, and status. However, what we fail to understand is that even with the glitz and glamorous lifestyles, people are internally crying out. In this episode of "Heavy is the Head that Wears the Crown" we discuss how no matter what your status is, burdens are not biased and the heaviness of a burden can fall on anyone. Most of us are wired to seeing delays as failure. Many of us have our lives planned out step by step and any detours in that plan is assumed to be failure. There comes a point in life when we have to realize how much our past trauma affects us. Then we have to realize how much our future goals and dreams yet, while exciting scares us. In this episode we discuss past scars and the process of healing with those scars. We discuss healing correctly versus incorrectly. We also discuss the fears of the unknown. It's amazing, how we go through everyday not realizing how heavily we are impacted by our past. So many decisions we have made with quick impulses, not understanding at the time the consequences that would follow. In this episode I open up and discuss with you, the choices I have made that still to this day I have not forgiven myself over. As I am sure many of you face similar feelings, we must realize that true growth requires forgiveness. Whatever or whoever, the choices, and the consequences that plague you I encourage you today as I am encouraging myself to forgive and let it go. This journey we are on has many twists, curves, hills, and valleys. You are not expected to always get it right. You are expected to learn and do better the next time! Together we can do this!

What do you do when the calls stop, denials are unpreventable, and nothing seems to work in your favor? A season of no's is a sowing season for you. Everything that seems to be meant for your bad is actually working for your good. Sometimes a "not right now" is a time for you to focus on you. This sowing season is many times an isolated time for you to identify your purpose, plan, and align yourself to where God wants you to be. The harvest is soon to come but, do not miss everything that is waiting for you in the sowing season. It is the sowing season that will MAKE you!

In life we can become so focused on meeting the physicality parts of a goal such as graduating, getting the promotion, beginning the relationship, etc. that we forget work must still be done. In this episode we will relate the journey of Joshua and the Israelites seeking their promise land to our very own modern day promise land. Sometimes even when you arrive to your destination in its' physical form, there is still work to do mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. What is God telling you to do today?
