Not just generic New Years resolutions that can feel like you are setting yourself up for failure but real business goals that make sense and fit into your ideal life. - Ways you can brainstorm all of your ideas without putting the pressure on yourself to go down the rabbit hole or actually do anything with the ideas (ie talk yourself out of it).
- How to work on your business not in your business
We will then go through the 4 parts of the workbook:
- The hindsight
- What opportunities do you have in your business?
- How to cast your vision for your business, for now and the future.
- How to create your roadmap for your big goals, and break it down into achievable goals.

Today we are going to go over a post Black Friday checklist of things that I will be doing in my business or recommending to my coaching clients after the biggest sales weekend of the year. I’m going to break this down into 3 parts -
- A hindsight: (or a recap) There are 5 buckets of this hindsight. You have your financials, your top performing styles, ecomm metrics, a quick marketing recap, and a recap of your operations & production.
- Your inventory- we will talk through a strategy for reorders, and what you can do to move existing inventory.
- And your website- I will go though what you need to un-do now that BF weekend is over, and what to check to make sure your website and emails are relevant and accurate.

The topic today is about Gift Guides. We will talk through how I am approaching gift guides differently this year at Bocu and and go over some tips on building a gift guide to help you drive sales. We will go over tips for both the product side and the technical side of creating a successful gift guide, including how to:
- build your gift guide to support your biggest investments
- focus on a persona OR interests so it’s clear to your customer, and to google
We will also go over some expert tips from my friend Nina Gibson of Visibility & Co on how to successfully build out your gift guide from a technical standpoint using SEO. She shared her top tips:
- why you should create a landing page or a blog post where your gift guide can live
- how to focus your gift guide around trending and relevant keywords
- how to optimize your product copy to help your Gift Guide be searchable

Today we are going to be talking about how to set sales goals for your product business, and how having a sales and inventory plan can help reduce anxiety around peak sales times.
We will go over how to either set a plan, or to revisit your existing plan for Holiday to make sure you feel really good about it. We will talk though how to do this by:
- Having a plan for the full floorset AND specifically Black Friday and Cyber Monday
- In order to feel good about where your sales number is set at (or to set one), you want to look at not only what happened for those same dates last year but also your year to date trend.
- Set a (realistic) stretch goal. It works. There is something about putting things down on paper that energetically shifts your mindset.
- Combine these tips with a solid marketing and inventory plan. Make sure to protect your top volume drivers in your inventory investments.
