I should have been at home over the weekend, but since I had plans to leave next week for our wedding anniversary, I decided to stay at my workplace. Anyways, my home and workplace are 210 kilometers apart, and the travel time usually takes around 5 hours due to the mountainous terrain. One of my hobbies is playing games like Red Alert and Counter-Strike, but my favorite play-to-earn game is Splinterlands. I play Splinterlands the most because it allows me to earn rewards, and it presents a great challenge as it requires strategic thinking for optimal card combinations. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that I had used up all my energy in the game. While waiting for my energy to refill, I took a walk and noticed my pickup truck. It dawned on me that it had been driven for more than 5000 kilometers, so I decided to clean the rear brakes. I checked my tools and materials such brake cleaner, cleaning rugs and brush. The cleaning process is not difficult, and the advantage of doing it yourself is the opportunity to save money. The prices offered by auto dealer shops are considerably high, usually around 40% more compared to regular auto shops or online shopping. I purchased my brake cleaner for approximately PHP 260, while the auto dealer shop was selling it for around PHP 420. Additionally, by doing the cleaning myself, I saved on labor costs. The best part is that my weekend became productive as a result.
